Constance Ephelia Seychelles

Constance Ephelia is a beautiful resort with incredible service and some of the best food we’ve ever had. I’d definitely recommend half board, as the quality and choice are excellent.

The staff were fantastic, but three really stood out. Thibaut, the Food & Beverage Manager, was genuinely amongst the best hotel professionals we’ve ever encountered. Sampath, who was in charge of the buffet, was phenomenal, while Amin was exceptional and consistently went the extra mile.

A big thank you also to Madeline, Clint, Velma, Nanto, Hermant, Vadesri, Hakeem, Terry, Carine, Rabia and Vladimir, who all helped make our stay so enjoyable.

One important tip: book your restaurants as soon as you arrive, or enquire beforehand. They fill up quickly, so use the hotel app and book straight away.

There are two areas I think could improve. At one restaurant, the electronic menu differed from the restaurant menu. We had booked specifically because of what was advertised electronically and wouldn’t have gone otherwise. When we raised this, we ended up in an unnecessary back and forth with a member of staff over which menu was correct. Thibaut eventually stepped in, acknowledged the discrepancy and honoured what had been advertised.

The staff member involved had actually been excellent until that point, which made what followed disappointing. Her manner seemed to change and, when my wife and I said goodbye, she didn’t respond and remained focused on the till. She may simply not have heard us, but it was something we both noticed given how friendly she had been beforehand. In a situation like this, I think the best approach is simply to involve a supervisor and continue providing the same warm service. Excellent service matters when things go wrong too.

Checkout could also be more attentive. On a couple of occasions we were left standing while staff nearby didn’t approach to see if we needed help. The desk staff were clearly busy, but other staff standing nearby were not. We were also slightly uncomfortable being left to retrieve our bags from an open luggage room. I’m not suggesting anything was unsafe, but it was something we noticed.

Neither of these points took away from how great our experience was. The hotel and staff are fantastic, and the overall standard and value are exceptional. You could easily pay double elsewhere and not receive the same experience.

We would happily return to Constance Ephelia and highly recommend it.

Transforming innovative and gorgeous

We spent one night at Constance Ephelia Seychelles as a couple, and even in such a short time, the resort left a great impression. The setting is incredible — beautiful beaches, lush nature, and that real Seychelles feeling. The resort is huge, but the buggy service makes getting around easy, with friendly and professional drivers. The giant tortoise feeding was a great experience and definitely worth doing. 🐢 What stood out most, though, was the team. Big thanks to Chynna, Annifa, Vamsi, Frank, Lidwine and Gregory for making our stay special. Special mention to Gregory for the excellent cocktails. 🍸 The SMAC zipline crew were also fantastic. Great energy, professional, and they made the whole experience exciting and comfortable. Definitely one of the highlights of the stay. And a special thank you to Pemma for her professionalism, kindness and genuine care. She really made a difference. One night wasn’t enough, but it was enough to know we’ll be back. Constance Ephelia is a beautiful resort, made even better by its people. 🌴🐢
