There is a choice of four swimming pools – you can get some exercise in the lap pool, take a leisurely dip in the garden pool, or splash around to your heart's content in the main hotel pool. And the wonderful infinity pool leads out to the ocean.
Anyone whose idea of heaven includes as much golf as they can cram into a week will be impressed by a choice of two world-class courses nearby. While back at the Lux Le Morne Hotel there is a fitness centre to limber up in, and a spa to relax in after laps around the pool or turn around the golf course. You can set your own relaxation programme, or opt to pamper in private if you prefer.
There's a mouth-watering array of dishes to tempt you – some local specialities, some fresh seafood (of course), and some Asian inspired flavours too. But it's safe to say that the Lux Le Morne Hotel caters for every taste.
When the time comes to head for bed, the Lux Le Morne Hotel has one more treat in store. Rooms are beautifully furnished in a traditional style. Polished wooden floors and simple furniture set the scene. Rooms are ensuite (with a beautiful marble bathroom) and feature a private dressing room, as well as ceiling fan, LCD TV, DVD, minibar, Wi-Fi internet and safe. Sea-facing suites are also available at a supplement.

After hiking Le Morne mountain I went in for a well deserved drink at the bar of Lux*. Here I was really well taking care of by Abi. He really showed 5* hospitality service! Thanks again Abi!
Our stay at LUX Le Morne was truly exceptional — an experience that went far beyond a beautiful resort and an extraordinary location.
From the very beginning, we felt genuinely looked after. A special mention must go to Iqbal, who picked us up at the airport. His driving was impeccable, but what really stood out was his incredible knowledge of Mauritius, his kindness and his attention to every detail. From the moment we met him, the journey to the resort already felt like the beginning of a wonderful holiday.
At LUX* Le Morne, the level of service continued to impress us. Isabel Lochun deserves a very special mention for her warmth, professionalism, dedication and genuine care. She has a wonderful ability to make guests feel not simply welcomed, but truly valued. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference to our stay.
And, of course, this extends to the entire team. Everyone we encountered was warm, attentive, friendly and genuinely committed to making our experience special. It is clear that this is not simply a hotel where people provide a service — there is a real culture of hospitality and care.
Combined with the breathtaking setting of Le Morne, the beautiful beach, the atmosphere and the exceptional attention to guests, LUX Le Morne has created something very special.
We leave with wonderful memories, a great deal of gratitude and, most importantly, the feeling that we have found a place we would love to return to.

Megane took us on a complementary couples cocktail making lesson where she catered to each of our tastes and taught us to make our own cocktails whilst introducing us to some local alcohol and cocktail recipes. Would definitely recommend, was a really great way to top off our honeymoon and one of the many activities offered by the hotel
Great hospitality and nice food
The location is excellent. Perfect setting, almost like a movie set, with wonderful pools, an idyllic beach, lush green vegetation, and houses (rooms) with only two floors, as if it were a small Asian village. The service is unquestionably unparalleled. Guidance, respect, and humility are always focused on customer satisfaction. Congratulations. One of the best (if not the best) resorts I've ever stayed at.
