Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa

I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, and it is truly a property I would be happy to recommend.

The resort is beautifully spread out, with a variety of room categories and suites, each set across different buildings and areas of the property. I stayed in a Family Suite, which was spacious and very comfortable, with a separate living area and bedroom, a beautiful bathtub, and lovely views overlooking the ocean and the infinity pool.

One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience. I enjoyed breakfast every morning at Pomme d’Amour, their buffet restaurant, and also had a few dinners there. They have different themed buffet nights, which makes the dinner experience quite varied.

Coquilages, the beachfront restaurant, was another favourite. It is a lovely, relaxed spot for pizza, burgers and other casual bites, and their Aperol was one of the best I’ve had in a long time!

I also enjoyed a champagne sunset evening at the Hibiscus Bar, beautifully located by the infinity pool with stunning ocean views. It is a wonderful spot to unwind in the evening while enjoying a drink and some food.

For something a little different, I had dinner at Ginger Thai, their specialty Thai restaurant, and it was definitely one of the nicest meals I had during my stay.

Another lovely aspect of the resort is the range of complimentary water-based activities available right from the beachfront. We enjoyed paddle boating, kayaking and snorkelling, which was a wonderful way to make the most of the beautiful lagoon and surroundings without even having to leave the property.

Beyond the rooms, dining and activities, what really stood out to me was the warm hospitality. The service was consistently attentive, the rooms were extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was relaxed and welcoming.

And the sunsets… absolutely unforgettable. Some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever witnessed were from this property. There is something incredibly special about sitting by the ocean and watching the sky transform at the end of the day.

Overall, Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa offers a beautiful combination of a stunning location, comfortable accommodation, wonderful dining options, complimentary activities and genuinely warm hospitality. It was a memorable stay, and I would certainly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing Mauritius getaway.

We spent our honeymoon in this great resort in July/August 2026. The hotel is absolutely great. It is clean (both the rooms and the hotel in general), quiet and directly next to the beach. There are two pools, one of which is exclusively for adults. There are four restaurants, all of which offer a great variety of excellent food. The main restaurant (Pomme d‘amour) offers different types of cuisine every day (for dinner at least, breakfast is usually the same, but has a great variety in itself). We would like to give a special thanks to Maya, who served us well many times at Pomme d‘amour. In terms of drinks, there are three bars that all offer a great variety of drinks and cocktails of excellent quality. Our particular appreciation goes to the staff of the Hibiscus bar, namely Vishal, Nevesh, Berlando, Khennedy and Polite. Thanks to them we always had the best cocktails and coffee and never dehydrated for 2 weeks. Overall we highly recommend this resort and we are sure we will come back if ever make it to Mauritius again.
