It has taken us exactly one year to finally find the words to write this review. Today marks our first wedding anniversary, and looking back, we can say without hesitation that our wedding at this hotel was the most beautiful and unforgettable day of our lives.

There are so many wonderful memories connected to this place, but above all, there are two people who made our entire experience truly exceptional: Hemant Shibdeen and Sandy Govinden.

From the very first moment we got in touch with Hemant, we knew we were in incredibly capable hands. Since we were planning our wedding remotely, there could naturally have been concerns about organizing such an important event from a distance. However, Hemant made the entire process feel effortless. Not once did the remote planning cause a problem or make us feel uncertain. His communication was outstanding: reliable, professional, proactive, patient, and always reassuring.

From our very first conversation, throughout all the months of preparation, during our stay, on our wedding day itself, and right up until the day we left the hotel, Hemant was there for us. His organizational skills and attention to detail were simply exceptional. He did not just coordinate our wedding; he genuinely took responsibility for making sure that every detail we had discussed was implemented exactly as planned. Whenever something needed attention, he was already one step ahead.

What impressed us most was how personally invested he seemed in making our wedding everything we had dreamed of. You could feel that this was not simply another event on a schedule for him. He put an incredible amount of effort, care, energy, and dedication into making sure that everything came together perfectly. His ability to coordinate so many different elements while remaining calm, approachable, and solution-oriented at all times is a rare quality. Hemant is truly outstanding at what he does, and we will forever be grateful to him.

And then there was Sandy.

It is difficult to describe how special Sandy made our stay. Although he was our private butler, calling him simply a “butler” almost doesn’t do justice to the role he played in our experience. From the very beginning, he made us feel so comfortable and cared for that it genuinely felt as though we were spending time with a longtime friend.

Sandy has an extraordinary ability to understand what you need, sometimes before you even have to ask. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, warm while remaining completely professional, and always seemed to know exactly when and where he could make our experience a little bit better. He truly tried to anticipate every wish and went above and beyond for us throughout our stay.

Especially on our wedding day, his dedication was incredible. While we were trying to simply enjoy every second and take everything in, Sandy was constantly making sure that we were comfortable, relaxed, happy, and had everything we needed. Knowing that someone like him was looking after us gave us the freedom to simply be present and enjoy the most important day of our lives.

His skills as a private butler are exceptional, but what makes him truly outstanding goes far beyond professional ability. It is his personality, warmth, intuition, kindness, and genuine desire to make people feel special. There is a difference between providing excellent service and making someone feel genuinely cared for — Sandy managed to do both.

Hemant and Sandy were, without question, two of the absolute highlights of our entire experience at the hotel. Hemant’s extraordinary planning, coordination, communication, leadership, and attention to detail combined with Sandy’s exceptional hospitality, attentiveness, warmth, and ability to anticipate our needs created a level of service that we will never forget.

Together, they gave us something incredibly valuable: peace of mind. On a day when there are a thousand things that could potentially occupy your thoughts, we never felt that we had to worry about anything. We could simply enjoy our wedding, each other, and every beautiful moment because we knew that everything around us was being taken care of.

Of course, the hotel itself and the entire team contributed to making our experience wonderful, but Hemant and Sandy deserve very special recognition. People like them are what turn a beautiful hotel into a place that remains connected to some of the most meaningful memories of your life.

One year later, we still talk about our wedding, our stay, and the people who made it so special. We still remember countless little moments and details, and we still feel incredibly grateful that we chose this hotel for such an important occasion.

We would recommend this hotel without hesitation, particularly to anyone considering celebrating a wedding or another once-in-a-lifetime event here. Even if you are organizing everything remotely, as we initially did, our experience showed us that with someone like Hemant coordinating everything, distance does not have to be an obstacle at all.

And if you are lucky enough to have Sandy taking care of you during your stay, you will understand exactly why he deserves such special recognition.

Exactly one year ago today, we had the most beautiful day of our lives. It has taken us a full year to put into words just how special this experience was — and even now, words hardly seem enough.

We will remember this day, this place, and especially the people who made it possible for the rest of our lives.
