Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Tamassa Hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, the facilities were enjoyable, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout our visit.
The food was decent. While it wasn’t outstanding, there was a good variety, and we were generally satisfied with the meals.
A special mention goes to one of the staff members with a moustache, who provided exceptional service. He was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which really stood out and made our experience even better.
The only issue we encountered was with the room door locks. My family booked more than five rooms, and several of us experienced problems unlocking or accessing our rooms. It seemed to be a recurring issue rather than an isolated incident, so we hope the hotel addresses it.
Despite this inconvenience, we had an enjoyable stay overall and would consider returning if the door lock issue is resolved.

An Unforgettable First Birthday Celebration!
We chose this resort to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences for our family.
From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, every single staff member went above and beyond to make our stay special. Everyone was incredibly warm, helpful, and always available with a smile.
The team thoughtfully arranged everything we had requested, surprised us with a beautiful beach-view room, and ensured every little detail was taken care of. Their hospitality truly exceeded our expectations and made our celebration even more meaningful.
As this was our very first stay at a resort, they set the bar exceptionally high. We returned home with unforgettable memories that we will cherish forever.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our daughter's first birthday so special. We can't wait to visit again and will gladly recommend this beautiful resort to our family and friends!
Amazing stay at Tamassa Bel Ombre
My husband and I went for a 2 night stay at Tamassa resort from 13 July 2026 to 15 July 2026 on an all inclusive package and we will definitely go back again once we are in mauritius.
Location : Located in the South, we had such amazing views and it definitely was a cut off we needed from our day to day routine. We had so many activities included in the package such as glass bottom, kayak, pedalo, snorkelling which lets you appreciate the amazing views.
Atmosphere : Since we got in at the reception for the check in till our check out, every staff was of such good mood and welcoming. The atmosphere was so lively and welcoming because of the staff wherever we went: Reception, Buffet restaurant, Burger Truck, The Playa restaurant (à la carte), spa, house keeping, boat house, beach towel stall. The hotel has weekly activites for adults as well as kids, There was no idle time over there. It was a relaxing and we enjoyed so much with the different planned activies but also the Game village where there are giant games : Snake & Ladders, Jenga etc. We also did a bonding session at the spa on our last day which was cherry on the top !
Rooms: We took the beach room which was the perfect option for us. It was located on ground floor with access to the beach and it was cleaned on a daily basis. It was really cosy with a terrace. We could also access all activities and our breakdown if we took supplements from the TV directly. It had a kettle, coffee machine, the mini bar which was refilled on a daily basis (1 sprite, 1 Coca and 2 beers) - Rajesh was the one who refilled the bar on our first day and he was so joyful and of good humor !
Value: 5/5 : It was definitely value for money for us based on our experience over there and all that was included in our package during our stay.
Noise Level : The hotel is really big and thus even when it was completely booked, we were never disturbed with loud noises but rather it was shockingly relly calm.
The staff was really welcoming and we were so happy during our stay there ! Huge thank you to Bhavna, Yuvna, Preshna, Jenna and the whole team as a whole for our amazing stay who were constantly present !

We had a wonderful family day at Tamassa Hotel. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming from the moment we arrive.the food was delicious the service was excellent and the pastries prepared by Chef Edinoh were absolutely outstanding. Overall it was a fantastic experience,and we highly recommend Tamassa Hotel. We can't wait to come back again
