The Heritage Le Telfair Golf and Wellness Resort benefits from an amazing spa facility – one of the most indulgent facilities on the island. We had a wonderful stay at Heritage Le Telfair and, overall, we really enjoyed our time at the resort. The beautiful surroundings, atmosphere and facilities make it a very special place, but what really stood out to us was the warmth and kindness of so many of the staff.
Premi was absolutely fantastic and looked after us so well throughout our stay. She was incredibly attentive, kind and always made sure we were happy and comfortable. We really appreciated everything she did for us.
Alvina from the spa was also amazing. I had lymphatic drainage treatments with her, and she was not only excellent at what she does but also incredibly kind, caring and professional. She made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable.
Vinen deserves a special mention too. His hospitality was simply amazing. He was so kind, helpful and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. His warmth and attitude really stood out to us.
And a huge thank you to Olivia, who was fantastic throughout. We really appreciated the care, attention and personal touch she brought to our experience.
We would especially like to thank the staff who went above and beyond, people like Premi, Alvina, Vinen and Olivia are what make a resort memorable.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would like to thank the entire team for their hard work and hospitality. A beautiful resort with some truly wonderful people who made our holiday special.
The whole experience at the resort was excellent ! In particular we would highlight the service of all the staff; being amazingly attentive and courteous. An excellent example would be a wonderful gentleman named Vinen, of the Casa beach bar (adults only area); he made our stay extra special.
Absolutely stunning – a beautiful Mauritius escape
We absolutely loved our stay at Heritage Le Telfair. The resort is truly stunning – beautiful grounds, gorgeous architecture and such a peaceful, elegant atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, it feels like you are somewhere really special.
Our Residence Host, Sharmine, was wonderful and really added to our experience. She was warm, friendly and always willing to assist, and we really appreciated having her look after us during our stay. Thank you, Sharmine! 🤍
The setting is incredible, with the mountains and lush greenery on one side and the beautiful ocean on the other. We loved walking around the resort, relaxing by the pool and beach, and simply enjoying the surroundings.
The restaurants and food were excellent, and there is plenty to do while still having that relaxed island feeling. The whole resort has such a beautiful charm and never felt overly busy or commercial.
Mauritius is beautiful, but Heritage Le Telfair made our holiday even more special. We made wonderful memories here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing Mauritius holiday.

My wife and I have been 'repeaters' at HLT since 2014 (less the Covid years) and have experienced all the changes to the facilities over those years whilst maintaining its status as a 5-star resort. From arrival, where all the necessary paperwork is done and guests are shown to their room, until departure when staff will say au revoir, the resort runs like clockwork. Leading by example the General Manager, Dominique Grel, sets the trend for everyone to follow and ensure that guests receive the best possible attention. The suites are all very nicely furnished and can be beach-side or garden-side depending on your budget. Packages are B and B, 1/2 board or Gourmet Bliss all inclusive. The choice is yours. There are numerous restaurants to utilize with Fine Dining at Chateau Bel Ombre, Annabella's for Á La Carte or sumptuous buffets 3 times a week, O'Grill (at Le Chateau GC Clubhouse for a full and varied manu (Lamb Chops are my favourite) and Le Palmier or C Beach Club for beachside or poolside dining. Not forgetting Gin'ja for Pan Asian cuisine (the Hot Pot is a must). All the restaurants have an extensive wine list. Facilities include the Wellness Spa for many different types of relaxing treatments, an excellent Fitness Centre plus a myriad of water sports including Pedalos, Kite Surfing, Sailing, Inshore Fishing, Paddle-boarding. There is an excellent Kid's Club at Timomo. Just outside the main entrance is the World of Shells (largest collection in Africa where entrance is free and the Marine Education Centre near to C Beach Club. The Cavendish Bar serves meals for those who don't want to dine at restaurants and has an excellent stock of spirits, etc to tempt your fancy. Le Chateau Golf Course is a good test of your skills and is always in tip-top condition. La Reserve is something else. A course not for the faint-hearted. Very difficult but the views are something else. There is a handicap limit on the LR Course. Golf carts available at both courses. You will need one at LR. Shuttle services operate to the golf clubs and restaurants. The staff here are wonderful. Many have worked here since its inception 22 years ago. We have made many friends here with staff and enjoy their company outside of the resort with their families. There are so many that I could mention but I have to include people like Yoven, Mukesh, Stacey (Annabella's), Dash, Eliza (Gin'ja), Allan, Kushavi and Sheetal at Chateau Bel Ombre, Adimoula (barman at Cavendish). Plus all the supervisors and Assistant Managers - JP, Big Alan, Haensley, Gregory, Jason. Shyma at La Reserve, Yash at O'Grill, Sharmila (our Housekeeper for 8 weeks), Avinash (Maintenance Manager), Valerie (La Case Cafe). Even the lady who works at Atelier Fleurs and creates our table centers for our suite (can't remember her name). Everyone is so nice and everyone speaks to you. There are also the Resident Hosts - Ashni, Melvin, Noor and Sharmaine to name but a few. Our favorite Concierge Clefs D'Or - Jossy and her staff Ludovik, Coco and Widley. Not forgetting France-Reine (Guest Experience Manager) and Jimmy (Room Development Manager), Olivia (Ops Manager) plus Hansi and Nishal and those that manage the Front Desk. We mustn't forget Garfield the Cat too!!!! All in all it is a wonderful resort in all respects. You get what you pay for and HLT has never been a low-cost facility. Wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island.
Returned once again believe me having been so many times but still to experience a fantastic holiday,the staff far to many to mention individually we would love to thank them each and everyone of them particularly because of my wife’s ongoing problem with her leg without them it would have impacted on our holiday a great deal thanks to you all. The hotel grounds are always beautifully maintained buy the gardeners .The food is never a problem because there is always lots of options to chose from, drinks try all the different cocktails all well prepared and good quality products. Room always spotlessly clean thanks again thanks again to the staff.Golf the two courses are in fantastic condition and it’s your choice how adventurous you want to play . To sum up a big thank you to our butler for her work and all the staff plus must not forget the management we cannot fault you we will return again.
