We had a wonderful stay at Tarisa Resort in Mont Choisy. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxing.
The food was absolutely delicious, and our room was clean, tidy, and very spacious. Everything was well taken care of, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
A big thank you to all the staff for their kindness, generosity, and excellent service throughout our stay. You all made us feel very welcome.
And a very special thank you to Mr. Arvin for the lovely little surprise — the delicious birthday cake was such a thoughtful gesture and made the occasion even more special. 🎂❤️

I'm not sure where to start with this review so I'll start by saying Thank You. Thank You to Dinesh and his team for giving my wife and i such a wonderful 11 day holiday. There are so many people to mention and as always it seems a little unfair to mention those that we came into contact with as every member of the team from reception to the gardeners were brilliant. So kind, warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. It was our first visit to Mauritius and every trip we went on, ever person we met, every drink and meal we had away from the hotel was very fairly priced and great tasting. Our day trip to some parts of the island was with Jean Noel and when you send 8 hours with someone you get to know run a little bit. Jean Noel was excellent all round. His knowledge of the island, his care for us and his personality was first class. But this review is about the Tarisa resort. What a gold mine it is.Not perfect, nothing can be, but overall excellent. The people we'd like to mention are Coomaree our room cleaner. Every day we walk back into the room is was as if it were the first time. It was so clean, so sweet smelling and all the little touches she gamete room were so appreciated. Thank you Coomaree. I've mention Dinesh the manager at the start of this review and he deserves so much credit for the way he runs the hotel. He always found time to stop and ask us how we were and was there anything he can do for us. In the bar there as the ledges that is JP, Jean Pierre. He ran that bar sometimes on his own brilliantly. He knew who was next in the queue and was a master at the cocktails. Then there was JC as we called him, he was absolutely rubbish as his weather forecasting but brilliant at everything else. We were lucky enough to eat in the Tandoor restaurant and Vimal looked after us and was a great host. He exposed each dish and always made us relax and go at our pace and not his. Thank you Vimal. So to our special person, Ripon. A young man who we were served by most days and he was a brilliant ambassador for the hotel. His care, service and conversation about our day and experiences was so wonderful. Ripon I hope you are still at the hotel when we return. Our room on the second floor was excellent and the choice of food albeit limited in terms of the number of main dishes was alas great tasting and we never struggled for something to eat at any meal. The one downside before I finish on a positive was that unbeknown to us a French holiday company called, Club Jumbo, had large numbers of French people at the hotel. Whilst the pool, sunbeds and hotel was quiet during the day, I assume the French were out on excursions, at night just before and at dinner the noise and numbers of people around the bar was a bit annoying to say the least. The hotel is small, and for us, all the better for that, but given the lack of space a mater of a few feet from the square shaped bar, the French Club Jumbo tourists and Club Jumbo staff held there end of day quizzes, games etc. We few non French tourists were not part of this but you could not get away from it as it was so close to the bar area. It would not put us off going back, but it was annoying to say the least. But as I said, I want to finish on a high and positive note. Dinesh and team thank you for giving me and my wife a wonderful holiday and experience. We will come back soon to stay with you and we look forward to see you then.
