The Veranda Grand Baie is nestled among the palm trees in tropical gardens. Inside, the lovely Creole style gives it a colourful, friendly feel, with some attractive soft furnishings and distinctive design touches.
The main restaurant offers a unique and interactive dining experience overlooking a turquoise lagoon. Served as a buffet, the dishes offered feature international specialties. If you are looking to celebrate or treat yourself to something a bit different then the beach restaurant offers an exceptional a la carte menu featuring the seafood of our lagoons (at a fee).
There are pleasant views over the gardens from your very own balcony or terrace, and all 95 rooms come with air conditioning, as well as flat screen television, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, and mini-bar.
From the hotel it's just a stroll to the soft white sand of the beach. And just a few minutes into the heart of the Grand Baie resort - with its long bay and soft, sandy shore line.
This is a great place to enjoy some exhilarating water action and there are a freat selection of watersports available, including snorkelling, paddle boarding, and pedal boats.. all free of charge! We are here at the Veranda Grand Baie in Mauritius spending our final day of what has been a fabulous holiday . The Hotel is beautiful tropical surroundings and wonderful staff It has a very traditional feel to it . We opted for Bed &Breakfast which was lovely with lots of choices from cereal to hot buffet to fruit pastries spoilt for choice. The hotel is in a great location a short walk to bars and restaurants. I would definately recommend a stay here .
Very happy with our stay The staff are are amazing and so welcoming aurora and jahmello are the most lovely people . The rooms are kept so clean and looked after so well . The grounds are amazing around the hotel and plenty of room around the pool
This is an amazing hotel, highly recommend.. The decor was beautiful, palm trees overlooking the crystal blue lagoon. The rooms were great for families, a lot of things to do. The staff were amazing thank you to Jahmelio and Lindy, kids had a great time playing dominoes, puzzles and the kids leisure playground was a hit. Will definitely be coming back
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Veranda Grand Baie. The resort is beautiful, relaxed and perfectly captures the warmth of Mauritius, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the incredible team and the personal touches throughout our stay.
Christabelle gave us the warmest welcome. Roukaya from Guest Relations was absolutely lovely and always made an effort to check in with us and ensure we were having the best possible experience. Darren was also incredibly helpful with our luggage and made our arrival effortless.
We loved all the unique experiences the resort had to offer. A special thank you to Doushan for the rum-making experience, Avisec for the fantastic cocktail-making experience and Christella for the cocktail tasting and bike tour. These activities were so much fun and gave our stay an authentic and memorable Mauritian touch. Stefan's yoga session was another highlight and the perfect way to slow down and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The food and service were equally impressive. Ajay provided outstanding service at the Lazy Lobster Restaurant and made our dining experience extra special. A big thank you also to Fardeen, who looked after us so well during breakfast and dinner, always with friendly and attentive service. Compliments to the Chef and the entire kitchen team for the delicious meals throughout our stay.
What stood out most was the genuine hospitality of everyone we met. The team consistently went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and it was these personal interactions that made our stay so memorable.
Thank you, Veranda Grand Baie, for an unforgettable experience. We leave Mauritius with incredible memories and would absolutely love to return! A very well-deserved five stars!🌴❤️
We've had a wonderful time in veranda grand baie. All staff are very pleasant, welcoming and helpful and couldn't do enough for us . Aurora, was very pleasant on our arrival and continued to throughout our stay here.
