The Veranda Grand Baie is nestled among the palm trees in tropical gardens. Inside, the lovely Creole style gives it a colourful, friendly feel, with some attractive soft furnishings and distinctive design touches.
The main restaurant offers a unique and interactive dining experience overlooking a turquoise lagoon. Served as a buffet, the dishes offered feature international specialties. If you are looking to celebrate or treat yourself to something a bit different then the beach restaurant offers an exceptional a la carte menu featuring the seafood of our lagoons (at a fee).
There are pleasant views over the gardens from your very own balcony or terrace, and all 95 rooms come with air conditioning, as well as flat screen television, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, and mini-bar.
From the hotel it's just a stroll to the soft white sand of the beach. And just a few minutes into the heart of the Grand Baie resort - with its long bay and soft, sandy shore line.
This is a great place to enjoy some exhilarating water action and there are a freat selection of watersports available, including snorkelling, paddle boarding, and pedal boats.. all free of charge! Some watersports do occur a fee, these include scuba diving, fishing, kite surfing and catamaran cruises. Or why not simply relax at one of the beautiful hotel swimming pools? And if it's relaxation you want, you have to visit the spa, sauna and steam room, with its incredible outdoor Jacuzzi.

A wonderful stay at a wonderful hotel
The hotel was really nice and the staff can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. There are many activity you can take advantage of. The hotel is also walking distance from Grand Baie. We had the pleasure ofnhaveing a candle lit dinner on the beach at the lazy lobster. I can’t thanks the staff enough for their kind welcome to Mauritius.

Amazing stay with amazing staff
The staff is really Nice, especially Aurore and Christabelle. Warm welcome and keep asking how to make our stay more pleasant. The location is convenient to walk around, shops and beaches. The activities from the hotel like the glass bottom boat are amazing, especially with a little baby.

Wonderful Honeymoon Stay at Veranda Horl and Spa, Grand Baye
We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and it was everything we could hope for. The hotel facilities, entertainment, spa and activity’s were outstanding. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They couldn’t have been more attentive, kind and helpful. Particular mention to Roukaya (customer experience manager), Grace who cleaned our room and the all the bar, restaurant and entertainment team. Finally a few recommendations. 1. The Lazy Lobster for a romantic dinner. The chef Sephora is outstanding and the waiter, Douschane was amazing.

We have had such a lovely stay at this hotel and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Our room has been perfect, and the pool area is always such a lovely, peaceful space to relax in. It never feels too busy, which makes it really easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The food has also been delicious, with a great variety of options and something different to enjoy every night. The staff around the bar and at the different services, such as the crepes, have been fantastic and always so friendly and attentive. The staff have genuinely been one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone has been so lovely and welcoming, especially the entertainment team, including Lindy, who has been amazing. The bar and restaurant staff, particularly Raj and Ajay, have also been incredibly caring, attentive and friendly throughout our stay. Every member of staff has helped make our holiday even more special and has created such a warm and welcoming environment. We have really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel. We would definitely come back!
