Exceptional! Perfect!
Usually I am not one to stay at top luxury hotels, but I am so glad that I bit the bullet and stayed at the Royal Palm. It was perfection! Upon arrival at night, I was warmly greeted by Kareena, who was absolutely welcoming and lovely. She explained the ins and outs of the hotel for me and make sure that I was comfortable in my suite. Arriving late on a Monday meant that most restaurants in Grand Baie were already closed, so I opted for room service, which was excellent. The next day, I did the glass bottom boat excursion, and Jesse was a great captain. Since it was raining, I was the only one on the boat, and she ensured a fun experience. Great to see a female skipper too! Breakfast was amazing and I looked forward to it every morning. During my first breakfast, the general manager personally introduced himself to me. The beach was gorgeous. And everyone I encountered at the hotel were welcoming and genuinely hospitable. As a solo traveler, I was a bit concerned I'd feel out of place there, but that was not the case at all. I highly recommend this beautiful property. You will not regret staying here!

Amazing!
A wonderful 11 night stay at the Royal Palm Beachcomber. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent.
The service was probably the best out of all the hotels that we’ve stayed in around the world. The staff couldn’t do enough to help; the answer to every request we had was “yes”.
So many highlights… the beach…the food…the activities…seeing dolphins swimming in front of the hotel from our breakfast table.
An impressive array of activities that were included as part of our stay (sailing, waterskiing, snorkelling, glass bottom boat trip, exercise and meditation classes, squash, tennis, padel to list just a few). Arun at the Sports Centre went above and beyond and provided great service and coaching.
We have every intention of coming back.

Luxury with all the little details that make you smile
Fantastic holiday at the Royal Palm Beachcomber. It's a picture perfect location with all the blue skies, sea and golden sands you could wish for but it's the attention to the little details that makes it stand out as a truly special experience; your own spot on the beach, the daily sorbet delivered to your lounger; breakfast pancakes cooked to order; the chefs' extra appetisers, cocktail night, the complimentary beach bag. I could go on for a while! And with a doubt it's the excellent and attentive staff that make it happen; the beach team, the breakfast team, the concierge staff and loads more, every interaction polite, friendly and keen to help. Thanks to all the team for a great holiday.

Perfect family vacation with exceptional service
Our family, including my wife, our 12-year-old daughter, and I, had a truly wonderful stay at Royal Palm Beachcomber. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and very cozy. The beach is one of its greatest advantages, with soft white sand, crystal-clear water, and a gentle entrance into the ocean, making it perfect for both adults and children. The beach is cleaned regularly, and both the beach staff and the hotel team were always friendly, attentive, and professional. We also really enjoyed the excellent sports facilities. Almost every evening we played table tennis and padel, which became one of the highlights of our stay. Another unforgettable experience was taking evening walks along the beach with our daughter, where we watched the many crabs running across the sand after sunset. These simple moments made our holiday even more special. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the Ukrainian-speaking manager, Yelena. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, helping us with many requests during our stay. Her assistance with organizing and booking excursions around the island was especially valuable. She genuinely cared about making our holiday as comfortable and memorable as possible. Overall, this is an outstanding resort with excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and a warm atmosphere. We highly recommend Royal Palm Beachcomber for both couples and families with children, and we would be delighted to return in the future.
