We had a really lovely stay at Royal Palm. The hotel is very well situated, with a calm and peaceful environment. From the moment we arrived, we had a very good first impression. Ryan Security was welcoming at the entrance, and Reema at Reception was very friendly and professional. A special thanks to Mrs Laura at the Spa for her kindness and service, and to the Housekeeping team for keeping our room clean and comfortable. Overall, everything was really good and we truly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back again!
We had the most perfect week at the Royal Palm in September to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional - warm, attentive and very personal, but never intrusive. The staff knew our names, remembered the little things and nothing was ever too much trouble or left to chance. We were incredibly lucky to be upgraded to the Presidential Suite which was absolutely beautiful. The daily fresh fruit and treats, together with the champagne and chocolate cake on our anniversary, made us feel genuinely spoiled and showed just how much they care about their guests.
Despite having just two restaurants for dinner, we never exhausted the menu over a week and importantly the food was always excellent, with plenty of local options darted throughout. The top-end range of facilities and activities is quite varied and one never gets bored, but for us the beach was the real highlight - white sand, calm turquoise water and, being in a bay, wonderfully sheltered from the wind. The beach service was fantastic, with water and towels refreshed regularly and complimentary fruit and ice creams. Also, we loved that loungers and parasols are allocated to guests which avoids the usual morning scramble and ensures plenty of space between people.
Most importantly, the Royal Palm gave us the chance to completely switch off and relax. We came to celebrate a milestone and left with bountiful memories we will treasure for years to come. We would wholeheartedly recommend the Royal Palm, whether you’re looking for a romantic escape as a couple or a family holiday. Thank you to the wonderful team for making our stay so special!

As fourth time repeat clients we were treated like royalty.
We were welcomed enthusiastically by every member of staff who surprisingly remembered our individual names, our preferences in both the suite and the restaurant, and on the beautiful archetypal white sand beach fronting the cerulean waters of the Indian Ocean.
It was like coming home!
The cuisine remains some of the finest in Mauritius and indeed worldwide. Every day the team, under the auspices of the very talented team of chefs produce a variety of exquisite creations. Our evenings were an exciting culinary experience, an unknown journey into deliciousness, a surprise at every turn.
We didn’t try the Asian Fusian Restaurant with its romantic candlelit setting, a breath from the ocean, but that’s something to look forward to for the next time.
Luxury amenities including huge white fluffy towels are generously provided in the spacious bathroom straight out of Architectural Digest. This is the place to pamper oneself after a hard day’s work tanning on the stunning beach.
Our heartfelt thanks to all with a very special nod to the ‘girl power team’ of Jessica, Anoushka, Jenny and dear Veena in the restaurant. Also to Jean Pierre head of reception and Amrit the kind and patient Concierge. Amrit, I hope you managed to find the Guerlain perfume!
Also thanks to the following gentlemen in the restaurants who absolutely need a mention: Ashvin, Suraj and Avinash together with the three sommeliers Kenny, Francesco and Dominique. Many other names are also worthy of mentioning if I could but remember them all.

My wife and I just spent our 30th anniversary at the Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury in Grand Baie, and I can honestly say I have never experienced service like this.
I travel internationally for business and have been fortunate to stay in many top hotels over almost 40 years, including family holidays with our four children. This was on another level entirely.
From the moment we arrived — welcomed with flowers and escorted to our room — every detail was immaculate. The room, the grounds, the pool, the spa. We enjoyed the sauna, massages and facials, days by the pool with loungers always reserved for our villa. With only 64 villas, it feels private and perfectly cared for, but never pretentious.
What sets it apart is the people. The care, the attention to small details, the genuine warmth. We met a German gentleman, Klaus, who returns every December and says he wouldn't holiday anywhere else despite having access to resorts worldwide. I completely understand why.
Flawless, personal, and truly special. If you want an amazing holiday where you are truly looked after, this is it. Highest recommendation.
