Ocean Beauty Boutique Hotel

Lovely room, the bathroom was particularly big and modern with both a shower-as well as the bath. There was also a microwave and fridge in the room as well.

The pool was clean and just the right size-overlooking the sea. The hotel also has access to a very small part of the beach as well with clear blue water. Another positive was that we were given a lovely omelette for breakfast.

The place does need TLC in the sense that the reception area is a bit of wasted space and could be made into something nicer.

It is obvious there's a lack of staff. They did struggle during the pandemic and lost a lot of business, as you can imagine, and are trying to get back on their feet (told to us by staff). Would recommended this place if you want something not too expensive and with a beautiful view/access to the beach.

A little gem in the heart of the northern tourist area. Stunning location - brilliant breakfast and great rooms - with a full sized fridge, microwave and stove.

Sure - it may need a little TLC - but for the price - you can't beat the location and the convenience of a resort without the oprice.

I'd recommend this again as it was a brilliant week we spent there. Really suited our needs to explore the island and do a little self catering too.

If you're looking for a lively party hotspot all-inclusive resort, then this hotel is not for you. If you are into lazy sunsets by the beach or in the infinity pool, delicious breakfasts and real Maurice experience then may I tempt you into trying this establishment? It's 5 minutes walk to the Pereybere Public Beach (see my comments on Pereybere). It's lobby is open to the elements with a koi pond and kind staff, special mention for Jennifer. My room was very large, with a whirlpool and a shower, a reading nook and large double bed. The balcony overlooked the hotel's garden and pool and the sea (a little). This is where the ordered breakfast is served (in the company of all kinds of local birds). Lunch and dinner can be found either at the food trucks, few restaurants or supermarket, all within walking distance. I didn't rent a car but I noticed parking would've been a real issue as the hotel doesn't have one. I was happy to take "public" transport to visit some of the island (see my comments on Port Louis and Cap Malheureux). I was very happy here and I would come back any time. The pool's water was crystal clear and great after a sea swim. Plenty of seats, chaise longue and loungers to take in the sun. Everything is a bit run down and could do with some maintenance but nothing that would stop me from coming again!
