Patrons may enjoy a flavourful selection of dishes at 2 on-site restaurants. Afterwards they may indulge in exotic cocktail play tennis at the on-site court and then pamper themselves at the on-site spa and wellness centre.
Conditions for Honeymooners: The travel dates should be within one year from wedding date and a copy of the wedding certificate should be produced at the time of check-in.
Dress Code: Daytime: Smart casual - no swimwear or tank tops. Evening: Smart casual - shorts, bermuda shorts, beachwear or sportswear are not allowed. Shirts and trousers will be appreciated.
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities including a sauna and a fitness centre. This resort also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and gift shops/newsstands.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a wonderful experience celebrating my uncle’s birthday with lunch at the hotel. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was excellent. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our celebration.
A special thank you to Mr Nitin, the F&B Manager, for his excellent service, professionalism, and personal attention. He made sure everything was well organised and that we had a memorable experience.

Our stay at Mauricia Beachcomber Resort in Mauritius was absolutely wonderful from start to finish.
A special thank you to Jonathan, the Front Assistant Manager, who was incredibly professional, attentive, and always willing to assist with a smile. His hospitality truly enhanced our experience and made us feel at home.
The food was fantastic, with a great variety available at every meal. We also thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails, which were beautifully prepared and perfect for relaxing by the pool or beach while taking in the stunning ocean views.
We would also like to give special recognition to Bhonul from housekeeping/room service, who looked after our room so beautifully throughout our stay. His friendliness, kindness, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Returning to a perfectly cleaned room each day was a pleasure, and his warm smile always made us feel welcome.

Not a Satisfactory Experience – Property Needs Major Improvement
Unfortunately, our stay did not live up to expectations. The staff were welcoming on arrival and courteous, which was one of the few positives of our experience. Unfortunately, this level of hospitality was not consistent throughout our stay, as several other staff members came across as rude, unwelcoming, very lazy and lacking basic courtesy.
The property itself is very old, and in serious need of renovation and refurbishment. The overall ambience and facilities do not match the standard one would normally expect from a hotel in this category.
The food options were also quite limited, with insufficient variety, particularly for guests staying for more than a day or two.
What was especially disappointing was the half-board arrangement. Despite choosing and paying for half board, drinks are not included, not even drinking water with the meal. Having to pay separately for basic water during meals felt unreasonable and certainly reduced the value of the half-board package.
The glass-bottom boats were operating without providing life jackets to passengers while out at sea. This is a serious safety concern and an unacceptable practice that puts passengers at unnecessary risk.
While we appreciate the friendliness of the staff at the beginning, the ageing property, limited food choices, rude behaviour, safety concerns while at sea and additional charges for even basic drinks made the overall experience disappointing and poor value for money. The hotel needs significant refurbishment, and a rethink of its meal-package offering and basic Customer service training for staff to meet guests’ expectations and being courteous.
I would not recommend Mauricia Beachcomber to anyone travelling to Mauritius.
