The hotel's 265 spacious deluxe rooms located in the main building offer views over the tropical garden, which leads to the beach and the Indian Ocean. A Fabulous Return to this Spectacular Hotel
We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 10 nights and didn't want to leave. We have stayed here twice before, the hotel has been refurbished since our last visit and it is spectacular. The hotel building is spread out along a lovely stretch of beach enclosed by a coral reef, it is not a boutique hotel but a relaxed spacious place. We stayed in the Nirvana section which is secluded from the main hotel with the pool being for adults only. It was extremely peaceful and we relaxed on our comfortable sun beds most days which were a few steps from our room next to the lovely infinity pool.
The real beauty of the hotel is its staff and food. We cannot highlight how superb the service is, how welcoming and pleasant the staff are, we were looked after so well we wondered if they suspected that we were hotel inspectors but everyone received the same individual attention.
We ate at all of the restaurants, we were spoilt with special meals for my retirement and wedding anniversary. and the standard of cuisine was excellent, Pan Asian, Indian, Seafood and Mediterranean, of course the main buffet had a theme each night and choice of food was incredible.
I have to mention the staff again, I could select special people but everyone was beyond welcoming, took such special care of us. The whole cleaned our room, the Butler who made sure we had a restaurant booking each night, the staff at all of the restaurants- incredible people. The bar staff who remembered our drinks but never presumed we would have the same. The General Manager who arranged the special poolside meal at Cumin.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone, we will be back next year for at least 2 weeks. We have been back a few weeks and miss it terribly.

Stay in le meridian
Location is very good , excellent facilities very good atmosphere and cleanliness is excellent. Neetee is excellent job in cleaning , Raj vidushi and other staff too at the breakfast service and very supportive front desk staff . All in all very happy
Magnificent family stay with unforgettable birthday celebrations!
We recently stayed at this stunning resort with family and had an absolutely magnificent experience. We were celebrating two birthdays during our trip, and the team went above and beyond to make our celebrations incredibly memorable.
The food throughout our stay was lovely, offering great variety and quality. The resort itself is beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained. We had a fantastic time and are definitely planning a return trip to this beautiful resort in the future.

Our Stay at Le Méridien Ile Maurice – 17 & 18 August 2026
Le Méridien Team, I am very happy to share our feedback following the wonderful stay my wife and I had at Le Méridien Ile Maurice on 17 & 18 August 2026, celebrating two very special occasions — my 34th birthday and our 2nd wedding anniversary. First of all, a special thank you to Mr. Ivan St Martin for all his assistance and efforts in making our reservation possible despite the hotel being very busy during that period. It was truly appreciated. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. Jean Paul Speville from the Security team gave us such a warm and friendly welcome on arrival, followed by another lovely welcome at reception. It was a great first impression. We spent our first day enjoying the main pool, which was fantastic. When we arrived in our room later that afternoon, we had a beautiful surprise waiting for us — a congratulations cake and a bottle of sparkling wine for our wedding anniversary. This thoughtful gesture made the occasion even more special for us. Later, we enjoyed an aperitif at the bar next to the pool, where Mr. Pravesh, the sommelier, took very good care of us. Dinner at the main buffet restaurant was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. The selection was phenomenal, with a wide variety of dishes, and everything we tasted was excellent. A special mention also to Mr. Adesh, the sommelier, who looked after us very well during dinner. After dinner, we went to the bar next to reception. The atmosphere was pleasant, although it was very quiet that evening. We felt that some live music or light entertainment would have added a really nice touch to the evening and made the atmosphere even better. The following morning, we had another wonderful surprise at breakfast with a birthday cake for me. It was another lovely gesture from the team. We then spent the rest of the day relaxing around the smaller pool, which was peaceful and very enjoyable, and had a delicious four-cheese pizza for lunch. Finally, thank you very much for accommodating my request for a late check-out. It allowed us to enjoy our last few hours at the hotel without rushing and was the perfect way to end our stay. Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful experience and came home with beautiful memories of our birthday and wedding anniversary celebration. Please extend our sincere thanks to Tony, Ivan, Jean Paul, Pravesh, Adesh, and all the other team members who contributed to making our stay so memorable. The best holiday!
I write this as I am sat in the airport on the second leg of my journey home. I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff at the Meridien. Every person we met, went above and beyond to make our holiday what it was. From the good mornings, the high fives to the children, the chefs who are passionate about what they do and showcasing their amazing work, to all the waiters and waitresses who made are evenings relaxed and fun.
One person who stood out to us was Jas, a young waiter who took us on a journey of Mauritian food on Mauritian night. From then on, he always offered a friendly smile, conversation and always went above and beyond.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
