Absolutely loved our day pass experience! ✨ The place was beautiful, peaceful and so relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the food was excellent, and everything was spotlessly clean.

We had the most wonderful stay at La Maison d’été Hotel for my husband’s birthday, and I honestly cannot thank the entire team enough for making it such a beautiful and memorable experience.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and truly special. The place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. It is one of those places where you can immediately slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy being together.
What touched me the most was the attention to detail and the kindness of the team. I had arranged a few surprises for my husband, including a beautiful flower arrangement and a special birthday dinner and everything was handled with so much care.
We came for one night, but we left with memories that will stay with us for much longer.
Thank you for making our celebration so special. We will definitely be back.

From the first phone call for enquiries, to confirming the booking by email, it was easy breezy, an experience which already set the tone to how the whole stay would be.
We arrived on Saturday, and we were blessed by a wonderful weather, blessed because the east coast can be very unpredictable. And we left on Monday morning, and believe me when i say that leaving was sad for us.
The hotel is small, welcoming, clean, well maintained, located in a beautiful and dreamy part of the island. The staff, i doubt that is the correct word, they felt more like friends/ family working together, whom ever you'd come across they always smiled, always were courteous, helpful and welcoming. No requests were too much, at times you didn't even have to request they knew how to make your stay memorable.
We were given an upgrade, because they could depending on their availability. Our room was much more than i expected, the view was amazing. Everything was carefully planned, designed and calculated. However, we did have a little issue with the drainage in the bathtub, i was to mention it, but as the housekeeping team visited, they noticed it as well and it was immediately taken care of, and i was impressed by their efficiency.
The food was good no complaints there, just that there are some things i would have liked to be different, like no fish bones in the catch of the day or maybe less oil, but that's me. The vegetable soup was really good, the pizza yummy, (i would have preferred a different base). The deserts were very tasty, not super sweet. Again my personal preferences. Breakfast a delight, the freshly baked bread at every meal 😍.
To sum it up, if you wish to experience the Mauritian hospitality, the one people still rave about like the ones you'd have experienced some years ago, La maison d'été is that place. From Pierre, the resident manager (i would assume) to Satish the gardener, and anyone who else who were there during our stay made us feel at home. And it was value for money.
