We had an absolutely wonderful time at Constance Prince Maurice and cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Everything about our stay was top-tier, and we particularly appreciated the spacious, beautifully designed layout of the entire property. A few highlights that made our stay extra special: World-Class Service: The service provided by the entire team was exceptional—attentive, warm, and truly operating at the highest level. Outstanding Sports & Fitness Facilities: The athletic offerings are fantastic. We really enjoyed playing tennis and had a wonderful coaching lesson with Paul. The fitness center is top-notch, and the wide array of complimentary water sports kept us entertained throughout our stay. Golf: We were very pleasantly surprised to find that golf was included, which was a huge highlight for us! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time here and look forward to returning. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable vacation!
This is our sixth consecutive year staying at the Prince Maurice, and whilst we continue to explore other luxury resorts across the island, none match the level of service, quality, warmth, and hospitality that PM consistently provides. Our initial welcome by Shaun, who also bid us farewell, was professional, and Rachel’s warm smile certainly made our arrival memorable, you are made to feel special. After a prompt drink at reception, we were swiftly taken to our villa, which are always stunning. However, they have recently been comprehensively refurbished including all new furnishings, they made a striking impression upon entry, a WOW moment. The room was impeccably maintained by Varun; nothing was too much trouble. Any items we requested arrived promptly, under the attentive care of Jebun, who has been with the resort since it opened 28 years ago. This longevity of dedicated service is reflected across the entire team. It is fair to mention—and we have noted this before—that the accommodation had appeared somewhat tired in recent years. However, the resort is undergoing significant investment in a refurbishment programme to bring the accommodation up to contemporary standards whilst preserving the uniqueness, charm and essence of PM, not corporate. It will take time to entirely complete but is well underway. During our stay, Vikram, Okim, and Rajesh attended to us both by our villa and on the beach, all well versed in cleaning glasses and remembering our drink preferences, along with the daily appearances of pineapple and ice creams. We also enjoyed treatments at the spa, expertly managed by the wonderful Sarika and her welcoming team of Priyana and Janita. Treatments from Isram and Franck need to be experienced to understand how they are quite different from any other therapists, home or away. The cuisine across all three restaurants remains consistently high in quality and presentation, overseen by Poveen, who was always ready to assist personally if needed, never standoffish, a general trait across the whole management team. The Asian restaurant is expertly managed by happy to please Hurry, and Archipel by hands on Yella and his team. Special mention must go to Guillaume and, in particular, Sen, whose service is outstanding—remembering preferences and anticipating needs before you even know them, delivering exceptional service with a genuine warmth and smile. During our stay, Tracie warmly welcomed us to breakfast and efficiently arranged some requests with professionalism and friendliness. Moreover, the bubbly Sylvabelle brought a light-hearted spirit, exemplifying engaging professionalism and a positive, proactive can do attitude. The Constance group as a whole seems to embody qualities and develop customer engagement and satisfaction that other groups simply find difficult or even impossible to replicate or attain. While it may seem, we are somewhat biased towards the resort, the only way to truly appreciate it is to stay, experience, and feel it for yourself, you will not regret it, and we are already looking forward to our stay next September.
Absolutely fantastic holiday. The hotel and its location, facilities and restaurants are superb. The food options and flexibility of the menus across all three restaurants, and wonderful grounds really sets the Prince Maurice apart.
But what really sets it apart is the staff. From the moment you arrive through to when you leave, they are wonderfully attentive and helpful across all departments - faultless service.

There’s so many wonderful things to say about our experience at Constance Prince. The location is tucked away for a private and blissful experience. All the staff go above and beyond to make your stay in Mauritius unforgettable and without hassle. The spa, restaurants, pools, private beach, water activities are all splendid. There are so many staff that were so helpful, I can’t remember all the names, but I think the manager is Nantoo, forgive me if I got that name wrong, he was always looking after us at the restaurants. When next I’m in Mauritius, there’s no doubt that’s where I’ll be.
We wanted to extend our deepest thank you to the Constance Prince Maurice team for making our honeymoon so special - it really was a trip of a lifetime.
From the exceptional service to the incredible food, we’re extremely grateful for everything they did during our stay, especially our last few days enjoying the villa. For anyone considering the hotel for their honeymoon, we would recommend it in a heartbeat.
