Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This was the third year in succession that we've gone to Mauritius in September to play golf, and we've stayed at the Constance Prince Maurice each time. Our main motivation for going there is that they have two golf courses very close by - both very challenging but enjoyable to play, and quite different to each other. The resort is really lovely - and this year we had an excellent room directly on the beach. The resort also provides a shuttle service to both golf courses. Our only slight disappointment was that the restaurants are a bit limited compared with other places we've staying in Mauritius.
The hospitality, service and food at Constance Prince Maurice is outstanding. There are too many examples to list here but the staff welcome you to their hotel as if you visiting their home. They ensure they get to know your names and your likes and dislikes, so that they can give you a first class service whether you’re on the beach, using the water sports equipment or having a meal. On our anniversary they treated us to a beautiful meal on at the Barachois restaurant out on the pontoons. When we went back to our room we were delighted to see that staff had dressed our bed during the nightly turn down service, which was so amazing we didn’t want to get in the bed. On the day of my wife’s birthday, it was like a memo had been sent around as all the staff would wish her a happy birthday and at dinner brought out a birthday cake for her. A special mention must go to Amorore who looked after us from the moment we arrived at the hotel to our departure. She was always checking in with us to ensure everything was perfect. Her kindness and generosity is exemplary - thank you. Also to the guy who looked after us on the beach next to the lappool. He always knew what we wanted and is the best a cleaning sunglasses. We had their all inclusive options and the food was just outstanding, and if you wanted something even more special you can choose extras and pay a supplement but in all honesty all the food is of the highest quality and extensive so there is really no need. We would like to say a big thank you to the whole team at Constance Prince Maurice who made our holiday so special. We are looking forward to coming back to see you again soon.
Very nice resort. It is big but small. There are only 89 rooms and the resort is quite big and spread out so you never get the feeling it is crowded. Very well taken care of with great service. Beach is beautiful. We definitely enjoyed it very much.

The resort is beautiful, peaceful and elegant, with a wonderful atmosphere that makes it very easy to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there as a family and appreciated the overall quality of the property and the hospitality.
