Conditions for Honeymooners: The travel dates should be within one year from the wedding date and a copy of the wedding certificate should be produced at the time of check-in.

Our stay at Shandrani Beachcomber was an absolute delight and provided a wonderfully smooth, active, and memorable experience for our family. Right from the moment we arrived, the resort excelled in delivering attentive, high-quality hospitality that made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our time here.
###Exceptional Service and Seamless Care
The standout feature of Shandrani is undoubtedly its team, who showed a deep understanding of customer service. Our experience started on a high note thanks to Yashwini, who ensured a perfectly smooth check-in. She patiently understood all our preferences and went above and beyond before we even stepped into our room. Knowing our flight home wasn't until 10:00 PM, she immediately coordinated with her manager, Adrian, and her colleague, Meelena, to secure an extended late checkout for us until 7:00 PM. This level of proactive flexibility speaks volumes about their commitment to guest comfort.
Furthermore, Yashwini personally connected us with Chef Koomaren to discuss our pure vegetarian dietary needs. The culinary team looked after us exceptionally well; Sunjay and Chef Danushka continuously extended that pleasant feeling by regularly checking in on us and consistently serving truly fantastic vegetarian meals.
A Spectacular and Unique Property Layout
The resort layout is fascinating, featuring three distinct beach sides that offer completely different experiences of the vast ocean:
- One side mimics a calm backwater, perfect for relaxing and enjoying non-motorized water sports.
- A second side is dedicated to thrilling motorized activities.
- The third side is a classic, beautiful beach with crashing waves.
Having access to all three environments within the same property was spectacular. The activity center team was incredibly encouraging, pushing us to try new things. Their motivation even gave me the confidence to try water skiing for the first time—and while I wasn't fully successful, the team's encouragement made it an exhilarating experience. The Glass Bottom Boat Ride is a definite Not to Miss Activity at Shandrani as the Marine Life at Blue Bay is exceptional. Beyond the water, the sports center kept us thoroughly engaged and relaxed with an impressive lineup of activities, including golf, tennis, badminton, a well-equipped gym, steam, sauna, and a beautiful spa.
Thoughtful Celebrations & Perfect Location
The resort team also added lovely personal touches to our milestone family holiday, arranging a beautiful cake for our daughter’s birthday and gifting us a bottle of champagne to toast our wedding anniversary. The celebrations at the property each night from disco music to Indian music was something we will always remember.
To top it all off, the resort's close proximity to the airport was incredibly convenient, ensuring we could maximize our final day and reach the terminal in a short, stress-free drive. We had a thoroughly wonderful stay, felt genuinely taken care of, and highly recommend Shandrani Beachcomber for a fantastic island getaway!

Amazing experience
Beachcomber Shandrani has been amazing. They have incredible staff who bend over backwards for you and are super attentive. Whether you’re doing the water activities, eating at one of their great restaurants, or being served at the bar, they make you feel super welcome and look after you really well.

Paradise getaway
Fabulous resort, lots to do, sea safe and interesting. Weather was slightly disappointing but still warm, but only had one day of full sun and one day of rain. Food good and variable, staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Excellent place for all ages! Room was fabulous, although we were upgraded to the adults only section. The fully inclusive package is the way to go for value for money. Will definitely try and come again!!

Super Shandrani!
Our family spent 7 nights at Shandrani and had a fantastic stay! The staff is both hospitable and professional, the facilities are impeccable with so many options to choose from, and the food is undoubtedly one of the highlights! Thank you to Sabitree, Sajaan, Wesley and the lovely ladies from the shop—Annabelle and Ruby. We cannot wait to return!! Tip to future guests: remember to pack your snorkeling gear and aqua shoes - you can snorkel in front of the hotel where you will find the most amazing fish and coral reef.
