Conditions for Honeymooners: The travel dates should be within one year from the wedding date and a copy of the wedding certificate should be produced at the time of check-in.
Dress Code: Daytime: Smart casual - swimwear or tank tops are not allowed. Evening: Smart casual- no shorts, bermuda shorts, beachwear or sportswear allowed. Applicable for children as from 12 years old.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. After practising your swing on the golf course, you can dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools. Additional features at this resort include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We recently stayed at the Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, offering a great atmosphere and fantastic amenities that made our holiday feel genuinely special. While the beautiful setting and good facilities made our stay highly enjoyable, it was the outstanding hospitality that truly made it unforgettable. We want to extend a very special and heartfelt thank you to Mr. Ved and Mr. Dasoo. Both of them assisted us incredibly well throughout our time at the resort. Their professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness went above and beyond our expectations. Whenever we needed assistance, they were there with a smile, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay to the fullest. It is rare to find staff members who are this dedicated to making guests feel welcome and cared for. Ved and Mr. Dasoo are a true credit to the Shandrani team! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway paired with top-tier service. We cannot wait to return!

The hotel is fabulous, with three different beaches all with different characters. The main beach has limited swimming, with bathers limited to around 3 - 4m due to boat traffic. The second beach has plenty of swimming and water sports in calm waters, while the final beach is steeply shelving with impressive waves! The rooms are very comfortable, with our room having double showers and sinks with an excellent view across the bay.
The downsides that we experienced was the service levels in the restaurants and bars. • The main bar would often take 15 - 20 minutes to get a drink as the waiters did a circuit of the bar area before taking the orders to bar. • The drinks orders in the main buffet restaurant often took over half an hour to be delivered. One meal we ordered three bottles of wine for our table of seven, we’d actually finished our meal before the wine arrived! • The Serendipity restaurant, which did a fixed menu, took over an hour to serve our main course and over 2.5 hours for the full three course fixed menu.

Newly refurbished Shandrani. First visit back since 2023. Lovely cold room in Le Grand Port and refurbished hot plate and cooking area. Rooms upgraded nicely. Visited the wonderful new roof top room with views over Sirius beach and the Wild beach. New Shandrani for two rooms are spacious and completely changed. Our favourite is still Ponte Vecchio with the wonderful Natasha in charge. Boat house crew Bert, Jacques, Markelky, Darwin, Ashvind and JoJo are just wi detail and supportive. An absolute credit to Beachcomber.
Snorkelling is improving as coral is in better condition than 2023. Fabulous resort and fabulous staff
