We stayed at Constance Le Chaland for our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed by Kanishka, who was incredibly kind and helpful.
The resort is spectacular and beautifully maintained, with two pools – one overlooking the ocean and another more sheltered from the wind. The food was excellent, with an à la carte restaurant and a buffet offering a different theme every evening.
The absolute highlight is the beach: one kilometre of white sand surrounded by palm trees and tropical vegetation, with dreamlike turquoise water and a coral reef close to shore – a true paradise for snorkelling.
We also really appreciated the special honeymoon touches included in our stay: a couples’ massage, a romantic dinner for two and a lovely welcome with a bottle and some sweets.
A special mention also goes to the guided walk to nearby Blue Bay – we unfortunately don’t remember our guide’s name, but he was incredibly friendly and funny!
The staff were always kind and helpful. A few details could be improved, but overall it was a beautiful and memorable honeymoon experience.
Was indeed a wonderful stay with a lovely staff here especially Mr.Kanishka, Miss Mellisa were helpful throughout , rooms cleanliness 10/10 and the private beach the best part of it…all in all perfect for honeymoon ..
We had a wonderful stay and were especially impressed by the excellent service. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, polite, and welcoming. We were always greeted warmly, and whenever we needed assistance, the staff were very helpful.
The hotel offers a very nice range of amenities and activities. There is a weekly programme including yoga classes, morning meditation, walking tours, bicycle tours, and other activities. Some activities have limited spaces and need to be booked in advance, but through the Constance app we were easily able to make reservations once we arrived. We really appreciated these opportunities and thought they were a great addition to the stay.
The fitness centre was very good and offered a wide variety of equipment. There was also table tennis for two players, with all the necessary equipment provided by the hotel.
Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The amenities were always replenished once we had used them, and tea, coffee, and plenty of fresh drinking water were provided as well. We also really appreciated the hotel’s environmentally friendly approach. Drinks were provided in glass bottles, and items such as the toothbrushes, combs, and cotton buds were made using more sustainable materials rather than unnecessary plastic.
The room and bathroom were kept very clean throughout our stay. We were equally impressed by the cleanliness of the public bathrooms, including those near the pools and at the fitness centre. They were always tidy, well maintained, and regularly restocked. We also appreciated little details such as body lotion being available next to the hand soap, which was very convenient.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The pools were beautiful and very well maintained. They could be a little cold at times, but on hot days the temperature was perfect. The sun loungers were extremely comfortable, and fresh towels were always readily available. We also appreciated that bathrooms were conveniently located close to the pools and sunbathing areas.
Breakfast was excellent, with a huge selection of fresh and delicious food. There was plenty of fresh fruit and many healthy options, as well as warm dishes such as miso soup. More traditional European and American breakfast options, including eggs and bacon, were also available, along with a good selection of fresh bread and pastries.
The dinner buffet was another highlight. There was an impressive variety of dishes, with a different theme each evening, including Mauritian, Italian, Asian, Indian, and Arabian cuisine. There were also plenty of options for vegetarians, and we especially enjoyed having Indian dishes available every evening. The salad selection was always fresh, the buffet areas were very clean, and everything was constantly replenished. Hot dishes were kept properly warm and cold dishes appropriately chilled.
The bars were excellent as well. The service was very friendly, the drinks were delicious, and the coffee was particularly good.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The combination of excellent service, spacious and well-equipped rooms, high standards of cleanliness, thoughtful sustainability measures, beautiful facilities, varied activities, great food, and a wonderful location made it a very memorable holiday.
Excellent location, very close to the Airport, Pretty secluded with direct beach access, perfect for couples. Amazing & friendly atmosphere, not too loud, mostly couples, lovely live music in the evenings, Very friendly & helpful staff, specifically would like to highlight 2 people who made our days brighter were Kanishka & Adrian. Kanishka speaks Russian, so that was an added advantage for my Russian speaking wife. Rooms are spacious & cozy, cleaned everyday, the entire facility is clean & speck. Amenities are more than sufficient , Absolutely a good Value for money

Their warm hospitality, attentiveness, and professional service went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find staff members who pay such great attention to detail and care so genuinely for guests. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning!
