Solana Beach Mauritius

My friends and I had a lovely stay at Solana Beach Hotel. It is in an ideal location and the fact that all of the rooms have a sea view is an added bonus; this made it really easy to participate in the many water sport activities that were available. Although the hotel aren’t able to organise excursions, Tony (the licensed beach hawker) was really helpful and was able to book many activities for us at a discounted price. The hotel had a range of nighttime entertainment and it was great to be able to hear a lot of local and traditional Mauritian music. Ali was fantastic at making sure that everyone felt welcome and involved. During our stay, we met a lot of lovely staff members: Arun, Shesh, Veena, Jatin, Aarti, Naomi and Vikesh all made our holiday extremely enjoyable. The only criticism that I have is that it would be better if menus for the international buffet were available beforehand and if the food was warmer. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a scenic and comfortable play to stay in Mauritius.

I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary I thought of receiving champagne or something would be organized I received a cake for dinner which was not good. For the room I got was too bad with a small tv ?? Really for a wedding anniversary, the bathroom so small while showering water flowing out. I won’t recommend someone to book. Rm 2320 cheap one ever. Thanks 🙏🏻

The amazing ocean view from the room was a sight to behold, it made up for the otherwise ageing room and amenities. But the beach and ocean were spectacular, even the gardens were breathtaking . The hotel provides so many restaurants too with good quality food and beverages! The cocktails were very good too. However special mention and shout out to the FnB manager Paz who really brightened our stay with his natural good humour and helpfulness. The whole restaurant staff were welcoming and very helpful.
