This is a little bit different... You get all the things you'd expect of a great Mauritius holiday - the wonderful weather of course, the beautiful sea views and the laid-back holiday atmosphere - but you also get a fresh, upbeat contemporary edge at the Long Beach Hotel.
Clean white lines and modern furnishings mark the Long Beach Hotel out as one of the most distinctive in Mauritius. It's a wonderful place to stay. Guests' rooms are tastefully presented and Standard Garden View, or Superior Rooms, offer a balcony or terrace. A selection of room upgrades including Seaview and beachfront rooms. At the time of writing, the Long Beach features the single longest and widest stretch of white, sandy coastline of any Mauritian resort.
You'll probably spend a long time there, just enjoying the sun and the rhythm of the blue sea washing on the shore. Snorkelers can prepare themselves for a treat too; those perfect waters are warm and clear - ideal for underwater exploration. There are great opportunities for water sports and sailing too*.
Or if you'd rather just take a relaxing dip, there are three swimming pools and an amazing tropical lagoon for you to enjoy back at the hotel.
Relaxation is after all, a big part of any holiday to Mauritius - so the Long Beach Hotel provides a beautiful spa so that you can really, truly relax. There's a wonderfully secluded entranceway to the spa and some supremely relaxing hanging beds out among the trees.
The Long Beach Hotel is well known for its gastronomic focus too - two bars and five restaurants give you a wealth of choice. From the buffet to the stunning Le Marche breakfast bar, to the opulent Hasu restaurant, dining at the Long Beach Hotels is one of the real treats of staying here.
The Long Beach Hotel looks like a sleek, modern city-centre hotel, but it's been built on the edge of the Indian Ocean, in one of the most beautiful settings in the world.

The Long Beach brings an upbeat urban buzz to the beach resort with its clean white lines and modern furnishings, creating a truly unique & spectacular setting. This hotel boasts the longest and widest stretch of white-sand coastline of any Mauritian resort to date, and the crystal clear blue waters are a snorkeler's paradise.
We’ve just come back from an eight‑night stay at Long Beach Hotel in Mauritius as a family of four (two adults and two children aged 11 and 15), and it genuinely exceeded our expectations in so many ways.
The first thing that struck us was how immaculate the entire resort is. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and our room was spotless every single day. It’s the kind of place where you notice the care that goes into keeping everything pristine. On top of that, every member of staff we encountered greeted us with a smile and a hello. It sounds simple, but it creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
One of the biggest highlights was the all‑inclusive package. Unlike most all‑inclusive resorts, Long Beach allows you to enjoy à la carte dining every night — and even at lunch. That alone sets it apart. The food was consistently excellent across all three restaurants: Italian, Asian, and seafood. We didn’t have a single meal that felt average. We also treated ourselves to a sushi platter at the paid‑for HASU restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it.
We booked four day trips with Tahen, a local taxi driver, and he was fantastic. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly flexible — happy to adjust plans based on what we wanted to see or how long we wanted to stay somewhere. He added a personal touch to each outing that made exploring Mauritius even more enjoyable.
The sports offering at the resort is another strong point. Our son ended up playing volleyball every evening, and a special mention has to go to Sebastian, who made him feel welcome from day one. It’s those small interactions that make a big difference when travelling with kids.
If there’s one downside, it’s the temperature of the pool. It’s cold — noticeably so — and could really benefit from heating. Combined with the wind at this time of year, you shouldn’t expect constant sunshine. But honestly, that was the only real negative in an otherwise fantastic stay.
Overall, Long Beach Hotel delivers a level of service, cleanliness, and dining quality that’s rare in all‑inclusive resorts. It’s friendly, flexible, and genuinely family‑focused. We left with great memories and would happily return.
Well what can I say… apart from this was our third visit to Long Beach 😍. The first I got engaged here, all handled and prepared surprise by Morna. The Second year we came back to get married on the beach and although everything didn’t go to plan we still loved long beach so much we planned to renew our vows in October to get it just perfect. The hotel and Morna couldn’t have been more helpful and threw in some extras to make up for last time. We was so excited to do it again and bought friends over but silly me… my own fault, I got sun stroke on my second day there and couldn’t go through with the vowel renewal. But the staff have been amazing.. and I still plan to come back to do it. It’s such a beautiful romantic resort, the rooms are just perfect and Morna and the staff made every effort to help make up for missing out on our celebrations.
So of course we will be back, we go to so many beautiful places but here it feels like a lovely romantic Luxurious home from home.
Thank you to all
I stayed for one night and I was genuinely impressed from the very beginning. The welcome itself set the tone for our stay. Yanka at the reception provided a very warm and professional welcome and guided us whenever we needed assistance.
The room was modern, spacious, and beautifully designed. The food and beverage experience was outstanding, The variety and quality of food exceeded expectations, offering an extraordinary selection. Overall, I was very satisfied with my hotel stay and would rate it 5/5.
we will certainly be returning in the future. Special thanks to Mr. Kevin, Head of Room, who makes us feel as King and Queen with his charming personality.
Great facilities from the gym, the adult pool to the nature trails. But what really stood out is the incredibly welcoming and most attentive staff. Babita from housekeeping, and Sarah from the cleaning staff - always went the extra mile to make sure we have everything we need.
Long Beach exceeded our expectations! The service was outstanding, especially from Sohit—his charming smile and warm, friendly demeanor truly made us feel at home, even while away.
The food was absolutely delicious, with an impressive variety that catered to every taste. A truly memorable experience—we can’t wait to return!
