Amazing experience at this lovely hotel
Our stay at this lovely hotel was absolutely exquisite. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We were welcomed by ms Pooja who showed us to our room and who explained everything to us, she was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff at Le Citronelle were absolutely amazing. They almost became like family. A special mention to mr Boodhoo, mr Damree and mr Ram who would go out of their way to make our restaurant experience amazing.
The room were clean and well equiped. Whenever we had a special request from room service, they were always very accommodating. Our room also had a lovely view of the ocean, and we would leave our door open sometimes to hear the sound of the waves from the comfort of our bed.
The hotel is child friendly, so there were lots of kids on bicycles whizzing about. The pool closest to Indigo restaurant had more of a family feel to it, while the serenity pool was more quiet and relaxed and our go to place to relax. A special mention to mr Pravin who would cater to our every need while lounging next to the pool.
We enjoyed playing padel. We took a bike ride to the nearby town of Belle Mare along the coast. We used the hotel’s gym a few times. We also went for a ride on the padel boat around the bay and we enjoyed a round of golf on the nearby Links course.
Overall, our experience was amazing and we cannot recommend this hotel enough

Wonderful stay
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage, and it is very easy to understand why this resort has such an excellent reputation.
The setting is simply spectacular: beautiful tropical gardens, an exceptional stretch of white sandy beach and the turquoise lagoon of the east coast. Staying in one of the villas made the experience particularly special. The villa area offers a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquillity while still giving you access to everything the resort has to offer, including its excellent restaurants, pools, beach and activities.
But what truly made our stay exceptional was the people. The level of service throughout the resort was outstanding—warm, attentive and genuinely personal without ever feeling intrusive.
A very special thank you goes to Atma, our Majeur d’Homme, who deserves particular recognition. From the very beginning, he was incredibly attentive, professional and thoughtful. He took care of every detail with remarkable efficiency and, more importantly, with genuine warmth. He always seemed to know what we needed before we even had to ask. His kindness and dedication made a real difference to our stay and turned an already beautiful holiday into a truly memorable one.
We would also like to give special thanks to Vezora, the hostess, whose warm welcome and attentive presence always made us feel very well looked after, and to Vada, our waitress, for her kindness, professionalism and consistently wonderful service.
And a big thank you to Kailash, who drove us around the resort by caddy. He was always friendly, helpful and ready with a smile, making getting around the extensive resort effortless and enjoyable.
While the beautiful location, villas, beach, restaurants and facilities are all impressive, it is ultimately the people who make Constance Belle Mare Plage stand out. The genuine Mauritian hospitality and the care shown by the staff are what we will remember most.
Thank you to Atma, Vezora, Vada, Kailash and the entire team for making our stay so special. We had a fantastic time and would return to Constance Belle Mare Plage without hesitation.

Exceptional Stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage – A Truly Memorable Experience
We had an absolutely wonderful and memorable stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius. From the moment we arrived, the entire resort gave us a feeling of luxury, tranquility, and genuine hospitality.
The location is simply breathtaking. The beautiful turquoise lagoon, pristine beach, lush green surroundings, and beautifully maintained property make it an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. The resort has a perfect balance of luxury and nature, and there are plenty of activities to keep guests engaged while still having enough peaceful spaces to simply unwind.
Our room was comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The housekeeping and room-service teams were consistently attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit.
The food was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. There is a great variety of cuisines and dining options across the resort, and the overall quality of the food was excellent.
A very special mention and heartfelt thanks to Chef Veer, Chef Amit, and Chef Virendra for making our dining experience truly exceptional. As Indian guests, finding authentic and delicious Indian food while travelling abroad is always something we appreciate, and these chefs went far beyond our expectations.
They were extremely warm, accommodating, and attentive to our preferences. They took the time to understand what we liked and made sure we had delicious Indian dishes that felt both authentic and comforting. The flavours were excellent, the presentation was wonderful, and most importantly, the food was prepared with so much care and passion.
What impressed us most was their willingness to go the extra mile and personalize the food according to our preferences. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for rather than simply being hotel guests.
Chef Veer deserves a special mention for his culinary expertise and the exceptional quality of his Indian dishes. Chef Amit and Chef Virendra were equally wonderful and contributed immensely to making our meals memorable. Their warmth, humility, and dedication truly represent the kind of hospitality that makes a luxury resort stand out.
The service throughout the resort was also excellent. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was the restaurants, housekeeping, room service, pool areas, or other resort facilities, we consistently experienced a high level of professionalism.
We also loved the beautiful beach, swimming pools, peaceful surroundings, and the variety of activities available at the resort. There is something for everyone here—whether you want a romantic and relaxing holiday, an adventure-filled vacation, or simply a luxurious escape.
Overall, Constance Belle Mare Plage exceeded our expectations. The stunning location, beautiful property, excellent food, exceptional service, and most importantly, the wonderful people made our stay truly unforgettable.
A huge thank you to the entire Constance Belle Mare Plage team, and especially Chef Veer, Chef Amit, and Chef Virendra, for making our stay even more special with their exceptional Indian cuisine and heartfelt hospitality.
