NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort

Just returned having spent a wonderful week at the NH Kuda Rah, we went for a full board package staying in their beachside 2 bed villa. The villa is spacious and very private with its own pool and hammock and opens into a beautiful lagoon and ocean. A small peaceful island but with plenty of activities to do should you wish… we had tried a few - from snorkelling, diving, sunrise fishing, stargazing, Maldivian cooking - all very helpfully coordinated by our wonderful hotel staff Lisa and Imma from the Dive centre. All staff at NH are so polite, courteous and never failed to greet us with a pleasant smile. A special mention to all staff at the dive centre also - they were all very patient and just a joy to be in the water with. Both my boys (aged 11 and 16) have come back with wonderful memories and experiences.

The all inclusive option worked very well for us - plenty of Maldivian/ Sri Lankan/ Indian / continental breakfast options, with lunch and dinner food menu’s being rotated daily. Many thanks to Chefs Rubel and Farish for such wonderful dining experience and to Imam Parbes, and all the waiting staff. The sunset beach buffet was especially enjoyed by us all - - seeing the chefs prepare meals behind a magical backdrop of the ocean and starry skies above us.

Good afternoon. We stayed at this hotel in July 2026. We took a seaplane to the island—a quick and comfortable journey. It is a wonderful, intimate, and cozy island—very green and with a "barefoot" vibe 🏝️ It’s perfect for unwinding and relaxing. I must highlight the delicious food; the breakfasts were superb ☕️ Beachside dinners are held two days a week 🌅 The lagoon has a beautiful water color; while there are breakwaters all around the perimeter, you get used to them quickly, and they actually create a sense of safety. Good spa and service. El, the manager, helped us with all our inquiries—thanks to her 🤍 I would happily return.

We originally planned to stay for one week, but we loved this resort so much that we extended our stay for another week. This was our first holiday with our six-month-old baby, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. We highly recommend it for families. The staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. The food is excellent, with a huge variety of fresh dishes and different cuisines every day, so there’s something for everyone. The spa is fantastic, and the massages are amazing I visited several times during our stay. The island is beautiful, spotless, and cleaned several times a day. There are plenty of shaded places to relax, stunning ocean views, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We especially loved the outdoor shower. The house reef is breathtaking, with colorful coral, countless tropical fish, and reef sharks that are completely safe to observe. We also went scuba diving, and it was among the best diving experiences we’ve ever had. Seeing sharks, vibrant reefs, and huge schools of fish was unforgettable. Snorkeling with manta rays was another incredible highlight of our trip. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!
