The comfortable and well-equipped guest rooms are complete with a queen-size bed and a minibar replenished once a day, tea/coffee-making facilities, Wi-Fi and 42 inch HD TV. The bathroom is complete with an indoor and outdoor showers, as well as an outdoor bathtub.

We had a truly dreamy vacation at Mercure Maldives Resort, and Shubham was absolutely excellent in taking care of us throughout our stay. His hospitality, attention to detail, and friendly nature made the experience even more special.Other staffs at Mercure was also very good in attending customer needs and always carry a sweet smile on their face ..

The room was great, staff were amazing! Pradip in the main dining area was a legend, coffee ordered once and he remembered everyday for the rest of our trip! Poppy was lovely as well and made sure we were looked after. I can’t forget the guys at the bar, kind, friendly and make a mean cucumber fizz!!!
The resort itself is in an amazing location, you can swim to a great reef where we saw squid, sharks and stingrays all in one morning!
The resort is clean, quiet and relaxing, great value for money as well if you get the all inclusive. The food is next level amazing!!!
Would stay here again
Just back home 2 days after our 10 day stay on Kooddoo. The hotel, the underwater world, the food , the drinks, our fellow guests and the amazing location are unforgettable. And then there is the staff. Every single person we met made us feel so very welcome. No matter if it were people from the restaurant, bar, reception, dive, garden, housekeeping, engineering, etc. Everyone did their part to make our stay a dream come true. And even though I did not get to spot a turtle myself while there, I spotted enough to make me one very happy camper. And my partner spotted a number of turtles and more while diving. We will be back one of these days so that I can spot that turtle :) And so that we can relive the wonderful memories we made this first time round. Thank you to everyone at Mercure Kooddoo.
My partner and I spent two weeks at Mercure Maldives and honestly, we loved every single minute! Everything about our stay was amazing, but what really made it special was the people. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and genuinely lovely. We were amazed at how many staff remembered little details about us, what we liked and even our favourite food and drinks. It really made us feel at home!
As a vegetarian, I was especially touched that the restaurant staff remembered and offered to make me separate meals, even though there was already plenty of delicious vegetarian food available. It’s little things like this that really made our stay!
The trip was for my birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it special. Everywhere we went, people were wishing me a happy birthday! We had a beautiful birthday message written in gems waiting for us at the spa, a personalised cake at dinner, lovely birthday decorations on our bed and even a specially painted coconut! It was all so thoughtful and made me feel really special. A big thank you to Ida at the spa as well for being part of such a lovely experience!
A special mention to our amazing host, Shubham, who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He greeted us at the airport with a handmade necklace and was always so kind, attentive and available 24/7 if we needed anything. He genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible stay. We even found out he was available on his days off (although we made sure not to bother him!). Thank you so much, Shubham, for everything!
We also have to mention Poppy and Shiva from the restaurant, who were both absolutely wonderful. They were always smiling, so friendly and remembered exactly what we liked to eat and drink. They made us feel so welcome every single day, and their kindness really didn’t go unnoticed.
Honestly, we could go on forever about how lovely everyone was! The resort itself is beautiful, but it’s the people who made our holiday so unforgettable.
Thank you to the entire Mercure Maldives team for making our two weeks in paradise so special. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better holiday and would return in a heartbeat. Without a doubt, the best holiday we’ve ever had! ❤️
Wonderful stay at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort!
The resort is beautiful, and for someone who loves diving and snorkeling, having such a beautiful coral reef right in front of the resort was a highlight.
But what made the experience truly special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, from housekeeping to management.
A special thank you to Kasun Chathuranga, the bar manager. He was always friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome.
I left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already looking forward to coming back. I hope to return next year!
