Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I highly recommend this hotel. It is the perfect place for couples seeking peace, beautiful views, and close proximity to the coral reef. But what truly stands out in your memory is the care, kindness, and hospitality extended to the guests. They pay attention to every detail, which made our stay exceptionally wonderful.
My husband and I went to Mercure Maldives Kooddoo for our honeymoon and we're blown away. From the moment we landed, the staff, food, accommodation villas, activities and vibe was absolutely beautiful. 10/10. We had an amazing 5 night stay at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo! The food was just fantastic and resort staff were so lovely and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Our accom in the sunset over water villa was really lovely too. My only small suggestion would be to improve the wine list (we had to resort to cocktails) - we didn’t love the South African & Chilean wines, some NZ whites / Italian Rose / French Rose or even Aussie wines would be a nicer option! Also we were lucky that the couple we travelled with took a card game as it kept us entertained at the bar when it was raining (Sept probs not the best time of year to visit, although the first few days were just magical!) - some board / card games with the library books that are already available for borrowing would be a great option for wet weather :) The guys in the dive centre were very helpful too. All up, we had a really fantastic week!
Our stay at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo was fantastic. If you are looking for an unforgettable island getaway, this resort delivers on every single front. The underwater experience was a major highlight, thanks to the incredibly professional and experienced dive team. They knew the local reefs inside and out, making every dive safe, exciting, and awe-inspiring. Our experience at the Spa was amazing. From yoga, sound healing rhythms, massages to exotic coconut treatments, it was sheet bliss. The culinary experience exceeded all expectations. The talented chefs produced a wide variety of fresh, delicious dishes at every meal, maintaining an exceptionally high quality throughout our stay. Loved the cooking class! What truly elevated the hospitality, however, was the incredible staff in the restaurants. The dining team was highly attentive, warm, and welcoming, always greeting us with a genuine smile and anticipating our every need. The bar staff brought wonderful energy - friendly, fun, and made fantastic drinks. The cocktail tasting was a hit! The resident DJ played great music that set the perfect mood for the evenings. Big thanks to Shubham for coordinating our activities and looking after us. Mercure Kooddoo offers a seamless blend of luxury, adventure, and heartfelt service, and I cannot wait to return.
Wonderful experience at The Mercure, Kooddoo. Far exceeded our expectations. Not only an amazing resort but totally backed up by an even more amazing staff. All the staff couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay perfect. Stayed in an overwater villa which was a wonderful experience.
