Another amazing holiday at this beautiful island 🏝️ Beautiful caring people, scrumptious food, 5* lovely rustic lagoon water villas where there’s a constant stream of amazing stingrays, sharks & fish seen even from the villa deck. Can’t get enough of this place, explains why there’s such a high number of repeated guests, who are just made to feel so special.♥️
Every staff member at the resort greeted us warmly. The island is stunning and the service is thoughtful throughout. All public facilities were extremely well‑maintained.
Our butler, Tesla (Mr. Friday), was incredibly responsive and fulfilled every request we had. We really enjoyed every conversation with him — 1000% satisfied with him!
Gili Lankanfushi may have ruined all other vacations for me. This was genuinely one of the best trips I’ve ever taken.
The setting is spectacular—the water is perfect, the villas are beautiful, and somehow the whole resort feels incredibly luxurious while still being relaxed and unpretentious. I also loved that it’s only about a 15-minute boat ride from the airport; after a long journey to the Maldives, being in paradise that quickly is a huge advantage.
But what really made the experience exceptional was the staff. Our Ms. Friday was incredible and went above and beyond throughout our entire stay. She seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even thought to ask, and the service everywhere on the property was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful.
The food was excellent, and even the spa was memorable—getting a massage while watching fish swim beneath the glass floor is about as Maldives as it gets.
I honestly struggle to think of anything I would change. Gili was beautiful, effortless, fun, and completely transporting. I fear I’ve now hit “max vacation” and everything else will have to compete with this. Cannot wait to come back.
Quiet luxury An absolutely unforgettable experience at Gili Lankanfushi Maldives. Staying in the overwater villa was a dream come true — waking up surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water, enjoying incredible sunsets, and having the ocean right on our doorstep was simply magical.
The villa was beautiful, spacious, private, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail creating the perfect tropical escape. The service was exceptional throughout our stay, with the staff being warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
