Our very first luxury holiday and it was like a dream. A 10 out of 10 for me and the family. From the staff,.food,.drinks, accomodation. Everything was on point. Went during a rainy week however periods of dryness and sun during the morning and afternoons. Loved every bit of my stay here and would come again.
This was a fantastic holiday. The resort and staff were fantastic. Staff were all brilliant and couldn’t do enough for me. I will certainly try to revisit next year
Loved our stay at this resort - first time in Maldives so didn’t know what to expect! Food was very good and I am super fussy. Snorkeling was good though not brilliant, but we knew that when we booked. The highlight for us was the overwater pool villa and the padel courts

We have travelled to many countries and stayed at some beautiful hotels around the world, but Emerald Maldives has genuinely been one of the best experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were constantly made to feel incredibly special and pampered by the amazing team.
Our villa was absolutely incredible, the resort itself is stunning, and the food was exceptional. But what truly sets Emerald apart is the people. The level of service, kindness and genuine care from the staff made our stay unforgettable.
We would like to give a very special thank you to some of the incredible people who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable:
• Sid: our Villa Host, who took care of absolutely everything for us. From booking our meals to organising every little detail, Sid made sure we could completely switch off and do nothing but enjoy our holiday. He was always there when we needed him and made everything effortless.
• Amjey: our housekeeper, who deserves a very special mention. I honestly don’t have enough words to express how grateful we are for his kindness. His attention to detail was incredible, but it was his thoughtfulness that really touched us. He gave us a beautiful bookmark, created a stunning sand message in our room, gave us hand-painted gifts and surprised us with beautiful decorations on our bed and in our bath. These personal touches meant so much to us. His kindness is unmatched and he is a true asset to Emerald.
• Neha: for being so kind, understanding and supportive when British Airways left two of our suitcases behind in Heathrow. She went so far above and beyond to help us during what could have been a very stressful situation. She even went out of her way to gift my mum a beautiful dress for my parents’ special anniversary, knowing that she had been left without her luggage. We will never forget that kindness.
• Vikas: for an amazing teppanyaki experience and for continuing to pamper us with incredible food throughout our stay. He was always going above and beyond and made us feel so well looked after.
• Vikram: for making the most delicious homemade pasta. It was genuinely incredible and one of the many food highlights of our stay.
• Pawan: for taking such good care of us at the beach and pool, always making sure we had drinks and snacks, and for the brilliant football conversations along the way!
• Wasim: for constantly checking up on us while we were without our luggage and making sure everything was safely delivered to us. His care and reassurance meant a lot during what could otherwise have been a stressful part of our trip.
• Alok: executive chef, who absolutely spoiled us with some of the most incredible food, including dishes specially prepared for us. He consistently went above and beyond and every meal was a pleasure.
• Meraj: for taking such great care of us at Amazonico and making our experience there so enjoyable.
• Jael: for the most delicious desserts and, of course, the amazing cotton candy! Everything was beautifully done.
• Haya: for taking such good care of us on our speedboat trip, showing us the ghost island and turtles!
• Shikha: for all the amazing pasta dishes and her kindness throughout our stay.
• Alok, Siyad and Deepak: for our incredible final dinner at Aqua. A specially prepared curry that was absolutely delicious, the naans are the best we have ever eaten! We were so touched.
• Rohit: last but certainly not least, for his brilliant work as General Manager. He is incredibly humble, warm and lovely to talk to. It is clear how much he cares about the resort and his team, and he is doing an amazing job.
Emerald Maldives is a truly special place, but it is the people who make it exceptional. Every one of these team members contributed to making our holiday one that we will remember for a very long time.
We left feeling incredibly grateful and already hoping that we will have the opportunity to return one day.

We visited Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa for our honeymoon this September and had the most amazing time! It was everything we had ever dreamt of and more. We were extremely lucky with beautiful weather throughout, even in rainy season!! From start to finish staff on the island were extremely accommodating and ensured our trip ran smoothly and we were completely looked after. Our wonderful villa host Athu was incredibly hardworking, friendly and accommodating anytime we needed anything. He was extremely knowledgable about the island and facilities and would regularly pick us up and drop us at our dinner setting of an evening to ensure I didn’t have to walk in my heels and dress. He went above and beyond for us throughout our time on the island and was able to make us last minute dinner reservations according to our preferences and book private snorkelling lessons for us to help us feel more confident. We can’t speak highly enough about Athu and the whole team at Emerald Maldives they were extremely friendly, the food was incredible, our room was left spotless at all times and cleaned 3 times a day! We have made memories to last a lifetime. We were able to relax and soak in our wedding memories in paradise and we would love to return one day in future. We couldn’t recommend enough!!
