The family loved it! We stayed over the water, which I recommend you do too. Where you may be used to roosters waking you up, instead it will be bats! They don't go near the people nor the over water bungalows. The food was always fresh and delicious! You would be so lucky to be attended by Magic; he went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Lapo was also and amazing person, and a very skilled swimmer along with the other staff you can have an amazing and safe time in the island while snorkeling or scuba diving one of the best reefs! I cannot be more amazed at the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff that made my wife and I's anniversary a wonderful experience. I hope to be back again!!

We choose here because the island itself got amazing diving spots. Great service and delicious food with various varieties. Special love friendly staffs made us feel welcome! Many activities around for kids and adults. It’s a family trip with kids and we are all satisfied. Special thanks to Mustafá our house keeper who made our trip even more welcome. Will definitely come back again!

We made a return visit to Sandies Bathala this year because we had such a lovely time last year. It was just as good this time around. Great snorkelling (sharks, rays, morays, and hundreds of species of fish), beautiful beaches, great food, great service, lovely rooms. Thanks especially to our waiter, Amjad, who took such great care of us at the beginning of the week. All the staff were friendly and attentive, but we appreciated especially Amjad’s positivity and jokes.

Our stay at Sandies Bathala was absolutely exceptional! Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious with a great variety of options, and every meal was a delight. Our water villa was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed—we slept so well every night.

The activities were incredible, especially the snorkeling, which was truly unforgettable. The vibrant marine life and crystal-clear waters made it a magical experience.

The staff were outstanding—so kind, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed (Shareef, Didi and the whole team of marine biologists). Their warm hospitality made our stay even more special.

Everything was simply perfect. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend Sandies Bathala for a dream vacation.
