- L Hotel Sarigerme

Sarıgerme, the place you can enjoy a relaxing taste of Turkey or for the more energetic there are activities galore. The L Hotel is situated a very short and convienient 16 km from Dalaman Airport. The Hotel is only 700m. from the local spectacular sandy beach with all the usual beach facilities and amenities. The sweeping golden sands of Sarıgerme beach are several kilometres long and approximately 100 m. wide with plenty of room for you to enjoy the carressing sounds from the sea, with the winds harmonising around you. The small local village is only 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, here you can find a selection of bars, restaurants, boutique shops etc. The hotel is very close to the ancient city of Phisilis as well as Telmessos and Caunos. The breeding region of the Caretta Caretta sea turtle is located close to the world famous İztuzu beach, where you can easily reach dozens of bays and beaches, as well as 65 km from Fethiye, 90 km from Marmaris, 35 km from Göcek and 25 km from Dalyan.
Relax on the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities such as a steam room and a seasonal outdoor pool. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access and concierge services.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Travelled as family of 4 (2 adults / 2 teens) Positives: Great location - 5 minute walk to town and 8 minutes to the beach Beach has allocated sun loungers available at the beach although we learnt this by chance as we were not advised at check-in you need to ask at reception for wrist bands. Suitably low-key atmosphere at pool and pool bar which suits our preferred holiday but might not be for all. Swim up pool was lovely and the family room with bunk a good size and very well thought out storage compared with others we have stayed in. Pool bar drinks and snacks good quality and reasonably priced Pool bar and staff friendly and welcoming (shout out to Ali for bringing the energy on a daily basis) Plenty of sun beds available as and when needed
Negatives: Breakfast - we've travelled extensively across Europe at different hotel ratings and this was fairly poor even by 3* standards (hot plates don't keep food warm and very limited choice) plus milk for cereal not kept very cold. We stayed for 9 days and there was no variation. There was something to eat so you didn't go hungry but it didn't feel like a holiday treat. Towels - we didn't find fresh towels as forthcoming as we would like, sounds fussy but there is no pegs to hang up towels to dry after use so fresh towels are needed. There is a rack for swimsuits outside but with pool towels and shower towels there needs to either be more towels provided or a swap box somewhere for guests to help themselves as needed. Bathroom - good shower but rusty bin and toilet brush made it feel like it was lacking in cleanliness. Few quid spent would make a lot of difference. Reception staff - not terribly friendly or welcoming for the hospitality sector.
Overall we had a lovely time so would probably rate good 3.5 (not average or very good) but few very small changes could really make a difference.
We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the surrounding area. While we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, the hotel itself appears a little tired in places and could benefit from some refurbishment and general TLC. Some areas felt dated and showed signs of wear and tear, which detracted slightly from the overall impression of the property We were disappointed by the cleanliness standards. Our room was only cleaned once during our seven-night stay, which was not what we expected. Housekeeping services seemed inconsistent, and the overall cleanliness of the room could have been much better. Regular cleaning and replenishment of essentials (bathmats, towels etc...) would have made a significant difference to our experience. Despite this issue, the staff were helpful and professional whenever we interacted with them. With some improvements to housekeeping and cleanliness, this hotel could provide a much better guest experience. Overall, we had a good stay, but the hotel would benefit from paying more attention to room cleanliness and servicing and also some much needed TLC. We hope these areas are addressed, as the hotel has a lot of potential.
Location is excellent, only 30mins from Dalaman airport. 5 mins into town and 10mins to beach. Staff were excellent all needs met. Drinks price's were good on par with town price's Room service is excellent pool is clean. Now the down size , breakfast was average, snacks ( lunch) was good but main meal ( T bone steak was poor) . Room was big we had two double beds for two people but not much space also very dark in room. We had swim up room (110) that constantly had water by the door due to the lay of tiles this seems to be a constant complaint with other rooms ( wooden duck board would solve the problem) We had a late flight so paid £80 for late checkout, the alternative was leave room at 12.00 then sit around all day. I know it's not the hotels fault but feels like your time is up not our problem. Would i stay there again...
Yes , my comments are to help
Fairly modern hotel. Friendly staff. From check in, to bar staff to cleaners, all very friendly.
Upon arriving the bathroom did not look too clean. The shower glass and the walls inside the shower had not been cleaned neither had the sink. The toilet brush case was all rusty and could easily be replaced.
The room itself was modern and comfortable with a free safe and nice air con. We had a swim up room which was very nice to have. Although there were plenty of sunbeds usually free.
Lovely reception staff and felt very welcome on arrival. Nice pool and overall view in hotel. Unfortunately the house keeping was something ive never experienced before, especially for a alleged 5 star hotel. Dirty towels with obvious sand and dirt were re folded and left in the rooms instead of replacing with clean. She used a sandy beach towel as a floor mat. Dust in rooms. Soap and shampoo not replaced. Constant inconvenience and the last thing you want to do is chase someone to do their job. The only “benefit” was the dirty towels were made into fun shapes. Breakfast was very poor and as a turk, i was slightly embarassed my tourist friends had to see that. If we paid for 3 star we would not complain but for 5 star and the expense, you naturally expect more. Regardless we want to once again appreciate the reception staff, they were lovely.
