Sarıgerme, the place you can enjoy a relaxing taste of Turkey or for the more energetic there are activities galore. The L Hotel is situated a very short and convienient 16 km from Dalaman Airport. The Hotel is only 700m. from the local spectacular sandy beach with all the usual beach facilities and amenities. The sweeping golden sands of Sarıgerme beach are several kilometres long and approximately 100 m. wide with plenty of room for you to enjoy the carressing sounds from the sea, with the winds harmonising around you. The small local village is only 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, here you can find a selection of bars, restaurants, boutique shops etc. The hotel is very close to the ancient city of Phisilis as well as Telmessos and Caunos. The breeding region of the Caretta Caretta sea turtle is located close to the world famous İztuzu beach, where you can easily reach dozens of bays and beaches, as well as 65 km from Fethiye, 90 km from Marmaris, 35 km from Göcek and 25 km from Dalyan.
Relax on the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities such as a steam room and a seasonal outdoor pool. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access and concierge services.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This was a very disappointing hotel. Very tired and unclean. We had no fridge in the room. Towels and bedding very tatty and looked dirty and marked. The bathroom had a leaky sink, the razor plug did not work, the toilet seat was badly marked along with the floor around the toilet. When the room was cleaned rubbish from the bin was left on the side and the bed not properly made up. The patio door sticked very badly. Breakfast was very poor and the area by the coffee machine was filthy along with chipped and grubby cups. On the Beach need to seriously look at promoting this hotel as a 5* it was a 2* at best.
Really enjoyed our stay here , especially the swim up rooms . It had a lovely chilled atmosphere and the staff were so accommodating and friendly . Food was lovely too . We benefited from it being right next to a taxi rank and a wee local shop. It’s a 10 minute walk to the village and the beach . We really loved our stay here .
Lovely small quiet hotel . Staff very helpful . Good food . The included breakfast was ample but could have been warmer . Cleaners could definitely do more but we got clean towels every second day . Great location 10 min walk to beach one way about 8 mins to town the other . Small shop and taxi rank just outside hotel . Pool freezing and half in shade could be the time of year . All in all lovely for a peaceful break
Overall average experience. It’s basic and a very tired. The breakfast is terrible! Such a basic selection. We feel like it does the very least to hit a rating.
The cleaning at this hotel is awful. The towel and bed linen are threadbare. They are beyond salvageable. Nothing is cleaned properly.
My absolute biggest complaint is the cats and dogs everywhere. My little girl was excited about the play area. It was COVERED IN DOG POO! The entire week it never moved. Absolutely vile! I understand you can’t manage all strays but it was out of control. Dogs lay on all the furniture. I felt it was very unhygienic for children.
I feel it could so easily be turned around but it feels like nobody can be bothered. It’s a good clean, new towels and bedding away from being a nice hotel.
Room: We stayed in a Swim-Up Deluxe Room, which was incredibly spacious, well laid out, and had plenty of storage. The private patio area is generous, featuring two chairs, two sun loungers, and steps leading directly into the pool. A quick tip for future guests: only rooms 115 through 119 get sun all day; all other swim-up rooms lose sunlight by midday. The room also came equipped with a fridge, safe, kettle, and tea/coffee facilities. However, the room had several drawbacks that impacted our sleep and overall comfort. The air conditioning was very noisy, and the bedding was poorly fitted—sheets were just laid on top of the mattress rather than tucked in, so they bunched up constantly during the night. While housekeeping came daily, the standard was disappointing. The floors remained dirty (made worse by walking in and out from the pool), and the shower ceiling had peeling paint and generally needed a deep clean. Pool: The freshwater pool is unheated, so it is cold when you first step in, but it’s very refreshing once you're in and kept extremely clean. It’s a generous size for a hotel of this scale, and they allow inflatables, which was a nice bonus. Food & Drink: We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Breakfast was quite disappointing with a very limited selection. However, lunch and dinner were a completely different story—the restaurant served tasty, well-prepared meals with a good variety. The drink selection was also solid, and the staff working the restaurant and bar were wonderful. Beach & Town: The location is brilliant. The beach is about a 10-minute walk in one direction—it’s clean, relaxing, offers free sunbeds, and has plenty of great spots for food and drink. The town is a 10-minute walk in the opposite direction, packed with local shops and restaurants. Overall: This hotel has enormous potential to be an excellent boutique property. However, management seriously needs to address housekeeping standards, instruct maintenance to carry out necessary general repairs over the winter off-season, and invest in proper fitted bedding so guests can get a comfortable night's rest.
