Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort and Spa

A really wonderful and luxurious family holiday. We had a lake house with a swim up pool. The room was spacious and we liked that our daughter had the living room as her bedroom and her space. It felt like a home away from home. Selma A kept the room very clean and we appreciated her attention to detail!

We dined most nights in the Sarigerme restaurant and we were looked after spectacularly by Nazirjon at dinner who found us a table and knew our drinks order. At breakfast Erghan always looked after us and knew our drinks order. The rest of the staff worked very hard in a busy restaurant but it always felt personable.

We went to the Turkish restaurant one night and were truly well looked after there! We also were able to feed the turtles and enjoy the river! Please remember bug spray in this spot in the evening! I got a few bites but they did also provide bug spray there!

We enjoyed a couples massage and were very well looked after by Tennur and Dilek in the spa. Really worth the time and money to have this treatment!

So many spots to enjoy in this hotel. Fantastic beach with directs sea access which is perfect for me as I like to avoid the stones on the shore but still have a lovely swim! So many pools but we mainly used our lake house pool and jacuzzi which was well cared for and lifeguards on duty!

The bars around the resort are great and many options so at night you can have different experiences from watching good quality live entertainment to chilling at the beach bar, or playing cards in the pianoforte bar!

We would definitely come back again for another relaxing break!

Since it first opened in 2009, my wife and I have spent a week here during many of our summer holidays. I like the hotel’s architecture and layout, its green surroundings, and the way the buildings are spread out, especially the Lake Houses that were added in recent years. There is so much space that even when the hotel is full, you do not feel crowded, either around its many pools (I never understand why people prefer hotel pools when there is a beach!) or on the beach. The sunbeds on the beach are well spaced, with plenty of room between them.

The sea may not be as crystal clear and blue as the water you may find on boat tours around Göcek or in some other parts of the Aegean, but it is clean and very refreshing.

One of the best things about this resort is its people. From the managers and reception staff to the waiters and gardeners, everyone is kind and friendly. Many members of staff, especially the head waiters at the à la carte restaurants, have been there for many years and are experienced and friendly. The food and beverages, the variety of choices, and the snack bars are superb, but if you go there without trying its à la carte restaurants, you will certainly miss out on a great experience.

The hotel could also add “Convention Center” to its name, as it has a very good and efficient convention center, with its main hall (seating capacity around 400–500 people) and several smaller meeting rooms. As an academic, I have also attended several scientific meetings there and found its facilities excellent.

This summer, we spent a week there as a family: my wife and I, our older son and daughter-in-law, and our newborn twin granddaughters. It was a beautiful experience, and after so many years, I finally decided that it was time to share my thoughts with others who are planning to spend a great holiday at a great resort.
