This hotel consists of 99 rooms in 7 blocks and features a large, spacious garden and pool area, over-looking the Babadag Mountain. Within a couple of minutes' walk from public transport, the complex is located in Ovacik, a small district just 2.5 km from the hilltop resort of Hisaronu and a 10-minute bus ride from the beautiful lagoon and beach at Olu Deniz. Some small shops, café bars and restaurants can be found within a 10-minute walk from the hotel, while a wider range of shops and lively bars are available in Hisaronu.

Basic but worth it definitely!!
Honest review as been each year to Olu Deniz and stayed in various hotels from Karbel, Z Resort,AES, Montebello and St Nicholas Park.
I chose this hotel as somewhere different and based on reviews. The hotel was cheaper than the above for obvious reasons, one being location. Set out from the resort centres of Hisaronu and Olu Deniz however 30mins stroll to Hisaronu in an evening around 300lira in taxi about £4 current prices. Olu Deniz is around 400-500 lira which is around £6.
Hotel is what you pay for don’t expect spectacular or modern. Rooms basic but we just sleep and get changed in them anyway. Maids attend daily so always clean. Could do with a fresh up like the overall hotel in general but nothing to deter experience here.
To note though the walls are thin you hear everything!!
Kitchen and food. Again a fresh up needed but always something to each and the Sunday lunch is amazing if you like this. Me and my kids found something easily. Although the deserts look amazing they all are pretty bland in taste.
With four different settings on times for eating through the day you will not go hungry.
Pancakes and omelettes made fresh every morning. Staff amazing again throughout the kitchen. Bar plenty of drinks no issues staff again pleasant and always helpful.
Pool: usual wake up at 4am get your towels down scenario but if you are unable to find a sun bed the team always provide when asked just gets congested.
Entertainment. The team are what make this hotel and the evening entertainment had a couple of evenings which for me beat the more expensive hotels I’ve been too!
World Cup was on and all games showed throughout which was brilliant!!
Would I stay here again!! Yeah I think I would just for the staff who strive to make your holiday faultless. Only location of hotel was probably a negative.

Read all 100% honest review about yel holiday resort
This is my 1st time ever leaving a review in all 17 years of going to Turkey. Feel I need to do this after reading reviews about the yel holiday resort.. this is my 100% honest opinion let's start with the food and I'm a fussy eater breakfast was passable could get omelette, pancakes and toast and beans. I Could not eat anything else. Snacks were good ,lunch was good evening meal most nights were not for me only had 3 times out of 10. Rooms were a good size and cleaner in every day with towels and anything you wanted . Entertainment Gizmo and Gadget were a huge credit to the hotel , killer Darts,water aerobics, water polo,water volleyball and killer pool. Evening Entertainment was passable most nights ranging from karaoke 🎤 to live bands . If your wanting to go to housarani go out the side gate of the stage walk down the hill bus every 3 minutes 70 lira per person £1.05p taxi back £5 better than walking up that hill. Would give this hotel 5out of 5 if evening meals were better only fault i have about it . Will 100% be going back in 2027
Our Home Away From Home
This was mine and my wife’s second stay at Yel Hotel, and once again it has been the perfect getaway. Every member of staff has been incredibly friendly and has gone above and beyond to make sure we’ve had the best holiday possible.
The housekeeping team has done a fantastic job, keeping our room spotless every morning.
The chefs always greet everyone with a smile while preparing fresh eggs, omelettes, and pancakes for breakfast, which is a great way to start the day.
The bar staff have been amazing throughout our stay and are always happy to make any drink they can. The only thing I needed to buy myself was some tomato juice so I could enjoy a few Bloody Marys!
A special mention has to go to Gadget and Gizmo. As always, they’ve been absolutely brilliant. They make sure nobody feels left out and work so hard to keep everyone entertained and having fun. They really are a huge part of what makes this hotel so special.
I think Yel Hotel has officially become our holiday home. We absolutely love Türkiye—not just because of this fantastic hotel, but because of the wonderful town as well. It’s without a doubt one of our favourite places to visit, and we can’t wait to return.
We’ll definitely be back in September next year. See you then!
Give it a miss
The hotel was clean and well kept and the staff were all lovely . There are a lot of steps though so if not very good in feet you would have to give it a miss.
This hotel is to far from the town and yet when booked got told it was within walking distance .
The entertainment is not great and lastly the food is far too repetitive where the evening buffet is concerned and it’s not the best at all .
The snack bar and breakfast was the best time to eat food at this hotel.
They have a new chef who they seriously need to get rid of .
A couple of days before we come home the hotel filled with a certain nationality and they stripped the food bars bare then left half the food which was an awful waste , no one said a word to them even when a child was prodding the desserts !!!

Amazing
Me and my friend came here last week and the food is really nice and the room is clean. The entertainment is very good. The staff are friendly especially the entertainment team (gizmo and gadget). Thank you for making the holiday enjoyable!
