This hotel consists of 99 rooms in 7 blocks and features a large, spacious garden and pool area, over-looking the Babadag Mountain. Within a couple of minutes' walk from public transport, the complex is located in Ovacik, a small district just 2.5 km from the hilltop resort of Hisaronu and a 10-minute bus ride from the beautiful lagoon and beach at Olu Deniz. Some small shops, café bars and restaurants can be found within a 10-minute walk from the hotel, while a wider range of shops and lively bars are available in Hisaronu.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Recently returned after a two week holiday this was our fourth year were we meet around 20 people if it wasn’t for the friends we meet it would have been a nightmare. The pool bar area was so dirty we was buying anti bacterial wipes to try and stop sticking to the tables they absolutely rotten on a couple of occasions drinks from the bar were served in dirty glasses and had lipstick on all drinks served in dirty warm glasses . I seen numerous sun beds break they are that old the cushions on them were black with dirt . The food was awful compared to the previous four years on two occasions I had raw food off the grill outside . The twenty of of us won’t be returning .
It is a lovely hotel with friendly staff and mostly very clean. Good value for money. Food is good. No trouble getting a sunbed. However I can’t believe that no reviewers have mentioned about the number of cats that are in residence here. They are allowed in the dining room and some silly British people were feeding them from their tables. This is so unhygienic. Apart from this it was a good stay.
The staff do everything they can to make your stay great and the other guests are the most friendly people you could meet the chef seems so proud of his meals and some days they were absolutely great I would say there is some things could be improved the tables at the bar the obvious one but for the price I paid I do think I will be back next year
I went to this hotel solo in September. I arrived at midnight but there was nothing to eat - not even fruit or a sandwich and only water to drink. I am 70 years old but was put on the third floor with no lift. The door to my room did not shut properly and despite repeatedly reporting this it was 4 days before they moved me and I felt very unsafe at night. The alcoholic drinks were disgusting but some people still managed to down enough to cause a fight one night.Food - roast on a Sunday so you might as well stay in the UK - soup was good though. Guy selling trips was a con artist - put me on a boat trip with all Turkish and even when I spoke to the captain in English he still gave all the details in Turkish. He mistold me where one trip went from so they went without me but then argued with me. Most clients were very loud and drinking loads and the sun bed wars are unbelievable. Coffee machine often ran out of coffee so you got hot water and milk - no kettle in your room. Place is clean but staff on reception totally disrespectful especially to single older women.
This was my 5th, and my partners 3rd time at Yel and unfortunately we won't be returning next year. Standards have really dropped, especially around the pool and bar area. There used to be a team of cleaners every morning going over the tables, floors and sunbeds. This year it was one or 2 using the same dirty cloths. The same was happening with the sticky manky tables in the bar area. The same tatty blue cloth on a window squeegee and a spray. The boy doing it tickled each table. The mats around the bar were lifted one day to vacuum under and the filth was unreal. The pool was never seen to be cleaned. Throwing chemicals in at night, doesn't pass as being cleaned. You could see the scum floating on the water surface and dead flies and wasps in abundance. On our last day you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. It was murky, but apparently it was deemed safe. Not that anyone came to inspect it! Entertainment was the same as it always has been, so nothing new. The routines were same old too. It lacked Oomph this year. However, the food was better than expected due to other reviews, the housekeeping was as always, spot on and the company was the best part!
