Sundia By Liberty Oludeniz

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Our family have stayed previously at Liberty Lykia for the last 5 years but due to the vast price increase we decided to try Sundia by Liberty Oludeniz and very glad we made the decision to give it a try.

We come with no expectations and left with very happy memories. So much so, we’ve actually already re-booked for next year already so looking forward to coming back.

Is the hotel perfect? Absolutely not. But where is?

I’ll leave my suggestions below for the management to see and with any luck who knows they might make some improvements over the winter period.

1: Ditch all the old self service coffee machines as the coffee is awful and replace with the newer one that’s behind the pool bar for guests to use (And especially have one outside of the pool bar, so if guests fancy an early morning coffee you don’t have to walk up to the restaurant, make coffee & then walk all the way back to the pool)

2: Rooms could do with a general improvement decor wise, doesn’t have to be anything fantastic but new headboards, fresh paint etc etc

3: Towel drop off/pick up basket/hut near pool where you can exchange old towels for new.

4: Food: Let me just say the lunch pool snack bar is actually incredible standard of food, really amazing. The problem is the breakfast and more so dinner options and quality falls way below standards so we skipped dinner and ate out most nights which is a shame and to be honest surely the hotel would benefit from food being eaten than wasted. So would really like to see an improvement in this department

5: Alcoholic cocktails, we tried 2 and never again. Quality over quantity I think. No need to have 15 cocktails on menu if only 3 taste good. Personally I would bring in someone who specialises in cocktails to create a menu rather than a generic one where the standards are not great.

6: Roof top terrace. What a fantastic space not used? A few tables and chairs have been put up there but this is a fantastic opportunity to do something really cool up there. Personally I’d put loads of rattan sofas, comfy seating areas and big parasols so people can relax up there in the day and night (needs lighting)

Other than that I can’t think of any improvements and may sound like I’ve listed a lot but we like I said we have re-booked for next year already as we had such a good time and believe the hotel will get better and better.

So if you’re thinking about booking don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed.

Sundia by Liberty is a fantastic hotel for all types of travellers, whether you're a couple, family, or group of friends. Its location is absolutely unbeatable, right on the Oludeniz strip, with shops, bars, restaurants, and attractions all on your doorstep. If you enjoy venturing out and exploring, you couldn't ask for a better base. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and something different to try every day. Having stayed at a 4-star hotel in Lanzarote earlier this year, I can honestly say that Sundia by Liberty would easily be considered a 5-star hotel in many destinations, including Spain. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The housekeeping team were lovely too, always greeting us with a smile each day. The pool area was spacious with plenty of sunbeds available. We visited at the end of August, when most UK and Irish schools had already returned, so it may have been a quieter period, but we never had any trouble finding a place to relax. The snack bar food was particularly impressive. The pizzas and burgers were outstanding and far exceeded the typical all-inclusive snack offerings. In fact, they were of a quality you'd happily pay for in a good restaurant. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, with tall palm trees, lush greenery, and even a few friendly cats and kittens wandering around, which my daughter absolutely loved. Being located on the strip means everything is within easy walking distance, including the beach, which is only around four minutes away. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, with both a double bed and a single bed. It wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate, especially when visiting Turkey in August, where most of your time is spent by the pool, at the beach, or exploring the local area. The only thing I would say is that if you're someone who prefers to stay exclusively within the hotel for the duration of your holiday, you may find it difficult here because the location is so tempting. There is so much to see and do just outside the hotel. If we returned, I would probably choose half-board rather than all-inclusive, simply because we spent so much time eating and enjoying the local restaurants in the evenings. A special mention must go to Deniz, who was in contact with me via WhatsApp before our arrival and throughout our stay. She helped arrange our room upgrade and assisted with all the final details. I also had the pleasure of meeting her on our last day. Her customer service is truly impeccable and she is a real credit to the hotel. Overall, I've given Sundia by Liberty five stars because it delivers everything it promises and more. While it may officially be a 4-star hotel, it is an exceptional one and fully deserves a 5-star review on TripAdvisor. I wouldn't hesitate to return

Had an incredible experience at this hotel made entirely by the staff. Activities all day and a pool party and white party. Hasan and Kyrie were amazing, so friendly and funny. Kerly and oreana were great dancers and made the Zumba so fun everyday. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean with amazing food. Each night the staff in the restaurant gave us great service especially sita and bulat, constantly refilling drinks without even being asked:) already planning to visit again next year. Thankyou!!
