really nice holiday animation team is really enthusiastic and food was also really nice with lots of options suitable for everyone overall I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back! we visited the water park where the slides were great. booked a visit through the hotel to go see the canyon where activities were planned through the day where we rafted in the canyon went under the water fall, swam in a mud bath and had water fights across our jeep safaris. in the evening we visited the town nearby which had lots of stuff to buy before going to the entertainment where everyday there was a new excellent performance
This is our 4th time staying at orka sunlife. The hotel is perfect for us and the food selection is great. The anamation team this year have been amazing making the holiday fun. Kai, Frankie, Madu, Luxury, Victoria have made our holiday entertaining! The pool foam party yesterday was amazing and the first time we have experienced this here at Orka.
The entertainment is brilliant! Theres lots of food options and good music around the pool, I highly recommend

Currently staying at this hotel with my partner, and can barely fault it at all. Staying for 12 nights and on our last few days now.
To start, before we arrived I asked if an upgrade was possible - with the intention of paying to which the hotel said to ask when I arrive due to availability. When we arrived the receptionist said there were none available, but then around 2 minutes later upgraded us to a luxury swim up room free of charge. The room is incredible, though the pool is a little cold but the room as a whole is fantastic. However it is right at the top of the hotel, up a very steep hill (luxury block, which has no elevator at all). Legs have been getting a nice workout.
The food is very good, I eat a bit of everything however my girlfriend is quite a picky eater but here she’s been completely fine with the wide variety of the food. The lunches are slightly reparative but the dinners are great and different every night.
The pool is massive, lots of space for all the guests. There are loads of sunbeds, probably 1-1.5 sunbeds per guest - meaning there were no sunbed fights or 7am towel runs, if we got there at 9am, 11am, or even come back from a day out at 2pm there were always beds available.
Finally onto the star of the show - the entertainment team. I always see reviews of people mentioning entertainment teams and find it a bit corny, but the entertainment team at this hotel genuinely made the holiday. The day staff Kai, Mr Luxury, Frankie, and Madu were all amazing, knowing us by name and personally inviting us to games, but also sitting with us sometimes to just talk about life. The night time entertainment was also fantastic, professional level shows, not usual local dancers but real professionals. The choreography in the dances and shows really stood out and made us want to stay in the hotel to watch them instead of going out sometimes.
A few people will say ‘this isn’t a 5 star hotel’ bla bla - it most definitely is. And I’ve been to 3, 4, and 5s. Most definitely up there.
Don’t think I need to mention it as other reviews will have - but the views are insane. IN.. SANE. Best I’ve seen.
