This family-run hotel enjoys an idyllic setting in Oludeniz, nestled amidst the natural beauty and splendour of the area. The hotel is surrounded by luxuriant greenery, with a backdrop of rolling hills, and lies just a short walking distance away from the sea. The hotel enjoys a stunning architectural style, blending harmoniously with its surroundings. Alluring visitors into the elegant surroundings of the interior, the hotel couples elements of Turkish design with contemporary influences. The delightfully-appointed guest rooms exude charm and beauty, showcasing the grandeur of traditional Turkish style. The hotel affords guests a number of exemplary facilities, ensuring that there is never a dull moment.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We booked this hotel based on all the fantastic reviews, so unfortunately our experience was a little disappointing and didn’t quite match what we had expected.
The positives: The location is absolutely stunning. You’re surrounded by mountains, and the pool area has a gorgeous atmosphere and good quality sun-loungers. The pool and sunlounger area is definitely one of the highlights, and the quality of the drinks and breakfast was also very good. It’s a small hotel, which gives it a more intimate feel.
We booked a Standard Mountain View room, but unfortunately the room was very basic and felt quite budget. Housekeeping was disappointing, for example our bed wasn’t made once during the stay and, as far as we could tell, the room wasn’t actually cleaned. On the occasion the maid came in, it seemed like she would just simply leave two fresh towels on the bed and that was it?
We also woke up every morning covered in bites. Obviously, I can’t say for certain what caused them, and hopefully they were just mosquito bites, but it was certainly unpleasant and made us question whether there was an issue with the room or bedding, as these bites only seemed to appear after sleeping in the room..
Service was very hit and miss. It seemed like the same four/five guys were doing everything, which must have been exhausting, so credit to them for that. Two members of staff were genuinely great and very attentive. However, there were also some moments that really let the hotel down.
For example, on one occasion I went to the bar to order a drink and the member of staff was scrolling on his phone and didn’t even look up to acknowledge me.. I went back after 10 minutes as he forgot to make the drink and he was still scrolling on his phone…
The food was generally good, although again the service was what let it down, One evening we had waited around 20 minutes after we ate our main for someone to come back to us, we wanted to order more drinks / dessert, despite there only being one other couple dining in our area as it was about 9pm, Meanwhile, when we looked in the inside part of the restaurant, the members of staff who served us appeared to be sitting together eating and on their phones.
We also saw staff smoking at the bar, in full view of guests and next to the area where food service was taking place. Personally, I found this quite unprofessional.
The staff were friendly overall, and I appreciate that it seemed like a very small team doing a lot of work. However, having worked in hotels in Turkey myself, I do feel the level of service could have been much better - we stayed at the hotel towards the end of the season, but unfortunately it did sometimes feel like the staff were in ‘end-of-season mode’.
Unfortunately, it also rained for five of our days. Obviously, the weather is completely out of the hotel’s control, but because the hotel is so small, there isn’t really a sheltered communal area to escape to. When the weather was bad, our room was essentially the only option and as the room was basic it felt disappointing to just sit in there for most the day - so this is just something to consider if you’re thinking of coming in October when it can rain (again the weather is not the hotels fault and we chose to come in October)
Overall: The location and pool area are genuinely beautiful and there are definitely things we enjoyed about the hotel. However, the basic room, lack of housekeeping, and inconsistent service made it difficult for us to understand all of the glowing reviews??
Maybe we caught the hotel on an off week, but based on our experience, unfortunately, I wouldn’t return!
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! We loved everything about it. Our room was spacious, modern and clean, the pool and gardens are stunning, cocktails and food were lovely, breakfast was a great selection. Staff are really friendly. It was like being in a haven. Definitely recommend.
2 weeks of pure indulgence, relaxing days by the pool, tasty cocktails, beautiful food. Not only are the staff friendly and helpful they are more like our family now, 3 years running we have been to this hotel and can only say it's a small piece of paradise, can't fault it in any way, the rooms are gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Shout out to our Family in Morina, Unal, Gem, Volcan, Ennis, Emishann and the 2 beautiful Rivers ❤️💕 we miss you all dearly and can't wait to be back in 2027!
My family and I have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Marine Deluxe Hotel, and we can honestly say it exceeded all of our expectations. Having stayed in Ölüdeniz before, we know there are plenty of great hotels in the area, but Marine Deluxe really is a hidden gem.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. The hotel is immaculately clean, the rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the whole place has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that makes it easy to switch off and enjoy your holiday. The pool area was a particular highlight for us, always clean, peaceful and a great place to spend the day.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. Every member of the team works incredibly hard and always greets you with a smile, creating an atmosphere that feels warm and personal rather than simply professional.
We would especially like to thank Volcan and Unal, who were both outstanding throughout our stay. They always took the time to chat with us, make sure everything was okay and help with anything we needed. We'd also like to mention the two girls named Nihir, who were both absolutely wonderful. Their kindness, friendliness and attention to detail never went unnoticed, and they helped make our holiday feel extra special.
It's often the people you remember most when you come home from a holiday, and that's certainly true in this case. The warmth and genuine hospitality shown by these staff members turned a great holiday into a memorable one.
A huge thank you to everyone at Marine Deluxe for helping us create some wonderful family memories. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed and already talking about coming back. If you're looking for a hotel in Ölüdeniz with a fantastic atmosphere, excellent service and staff who genuinely care about their guests, look no further. This place is a real hidden gem.
Beautiful clean room, the garden was beautiful and the staff so friendly We stayed in a swim up room , our group was 5 couples and they accommodated us all with rooms next to each other Quiet and private and not far from the main busy area and a short walk to the sea
