I've been to Turkey many times but I must say this was a true luxury. Fantastic hotel with beautiful views, great food, excellent facilities, and outstanding service. The entertainment programme was brilliant, and Amy from the entertainment team deserves a special mention. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and always made activities enjoyable and accessible for guests of varying ages.

Firstly, yes the hotel is lovely as are all the staff. You can go to different parts and it feels like a different resort at each location.

I have to be totally honest so you can make your decision wether to stay here as IT IS NOT A CHEAP HOTEL.

Its expensive, but don't expect everything to be 5 star when it comes to the basics.

It is constantly let down by "simple basic failings which can really begin to grate on you after day 3. Especially when its a common practice that any 2 or 3 star premises puts into practice that makes a stay enjoyable. We were trying each day to "will" the hotel in being great judging from the previous 5 star reviews and thinking "have we previously been too spoiled" or have we set our expectations too high?

We spoke to families that were on their 2nd, 3rd visit and they agreed not to return again as they considered the hotel had declined on service in comparison to previous visits.

Firstly Meal times - It definitely "IS" constant chaos either at breakfast and even more so throughout evening meals. iI is clear that the Staff ratios are way too Low and many are trainees. In the evening you are given a chilled bottle of water 1 day, then a luke warm bottle the next as they have ran out!! No offer of Ice despite requesting it or you have to chase the waiter for one the next evening only then being ignored. We are not tough customers and are really quite easy going and accept glitches are part of every day life, especially with a 10 and 12 year old.But seriously, every evening for a 5 star at nearly £2K each for 10 nights?

Absolutely No themed evenings and food is always overcooked, dry and repetitive, certainly not overlooked by the The Head Chef at any point!. It is definitely not well presented..sorry, but its just literally scraped into stone cold chaffing dishes. I let my feelings known to reception about the dryness of the chicken and lamb meats. REALLY ANNOYING when the Cook Station says, "its ran out", next batch in 10 minutes. (Oh come on this is basics!!)This happened at virtually EVERY evening meal, especially at the Hot Grill Stations for the meats. We ate at 7pm 8pm and 8.45pm to see which service was better. In truth, the later we ate dinner, the worse table clearing and drinks service became.

The Gym- Great gym, opens at 8am by the PT. However, No bottles of water in fridge no fresh towels to mop up sweat as AC never switched on in advance, despite being high 20's. Towels and Luke warm water usually arrives at 8.45am. Why?

Can't it simply be restocked at 9pm when it shuts ready for opening the next day?

Main Evening Bar. All the young teenage kids allowed to sit on fixed bar stools during peak service usually Instagramming non stop. This "totally" blocks bar access to adults, (usually 3 persons deep) especially when table service is constantly hit and miss. Why they don't section off a teenage and kids section like other turkish hotels do, I will never know. It makes it impossible to get served between 8.30pm and 9.30pm just before and during entertainment. Especially when you want your 1st GnT and you can't get served for 40mins.

Walking to breakfast. Getting "the steps" in at this location is compulsory. If you hate steps and staircases, then this hotel is definitely not for you. Caution- with elderly and young excited children - make sure you hold their hands as the steps themselves are lethal due to different tread depths and heights due to construction.

However, why on earth at 8-8.30am do they switch on the garden sprinklers and the gardeners start to hose down the pathways whilst your walking through the grounds on the way to the restaurant making you constantly dodge wet slippery pathways and getting splattered with muddy water? Hustle don't get it!!

To be honest, in short, outside of not so great food in comparison to other Turkish Hotels, we would have had a blast if we got the holiday at a great price low price and booked at last minute, but this was expensive and despite looking at the 5 star reviews in disbelief, we considered it a great"Butlins On Sea".
