This attractive beach hotel is located within a beautiful garden area only around 10 minutes away from the popular pebble beach of Ölüdeniz and the turquoise blue sea. Links to the public transport system are just a stone's throw from the hotel (around 50 m) and there is a lake around 500 m away. The immediate vicinity (around 100 m) offers a vast array of shopping facilities as well as numerous restaurants, various bars, pubs, cafes and many other entertainment facilities. There is a nightclub only about 150 m away from the hotel and the worth-seeing centre of Fethiye is around 13 km away, which is easily reached by car or with the regular minibus transport.
this hotel comprises a total of 189 double rooms and 6 suites over 3 storeys. The hotel welcomes guests in a lobby with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe and currency exchange counter. A bar, a hairdresser's salon, a small supermarket, a shop, a games room, a TV room, public Internet access and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a terrace (highchairs for kids included) also count amongst the hotel's facilities. Furthermore, there are laundry and room services as well as medical assistance, a playground and a car park.
The modern rooms are equipped with an en suite bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, air conditioning and a hire safe. Each of these tastefully furnished rooms also comes with a balcony.
Guests will find an attractively designed swimming pool with children's pool, a sun terrace, a range of sun loungers and parasols as well as a snack bar in the hotel grounds. A variety of water sports opportunities are available on the beach from local operators, additional fees apply. Sports enthusiasts have the opportunity to play a game of pool/ snooker or table tennis as well as use the gym or go horse riding. A seasonal entertainment programme for adults rounds up the offers.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This hotel is in the perfect location. The staff are lovely and can't do enough, the rooms are clean and housekeeping is exceptional, even during a thunderstorm, working tireless to make sure guests were ok. A special shout out to Hasan and Ennis for their hard work keeping people entertained, there's a lovely friendly atmospere at this hotel. Food is 3* and what to expect, but always something for every taste, with lots of sweet options. If anything, i would discourage people from feeding the cats during dinner! And the bar area coudle benefit from new furniture, some of the seats are broken. It coud be a much nicer area if it was given more attention, resebeling the very nice reception and terrace area. Overall, for a cheap and cheerful hotel, i would go back.
Fantastic Stay at Hotel Karbel – We’ll Definitely Be Back! We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Karbel and honestly couldn’t fault the rooms or the staff. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable, and the staff were absolutely brilliant — so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. A special mention has to go to Tulip, who was absolutely wonderful with my daughter. He was so kind and caring towards her that my daughter was genuinely upset and crying when we had to leave and come home. It really shows how much of an impression the staff can make on a family holiday. Unfortunately, during our stay we had some extremely heavy rain which caused flooding in our apartment. This was completely due to the weather and was obviously beyond the hotel’s control. What really impressed us was how quickly and professionally the management dealt with the situation. Despite the hotel being manic with everything that was going on, they arranged for us — along with other affected guests — to be upgraded to another room incredibly quickly. We really appreciated how efficiently they handled what could have been a very stressful situation. The cleaners also deserve a huge mention. They were rushing around doing an absolutely brilliant job, cleaning up and helping get everything back to normal. Their hard work was very much appreciated. If I had to mention one thing that could be improved, it would be the food. We felt this could have been a little better, but honestly, this wouldn’t stop us from returning. Overall, Hotel Karbel is a fantastic hotel with wonderful staff and management who genuinely care about their guests. We had a brilliant holiday and would happily return. A massive thank you to everyone at Hotel Karbel for making our stay so memorable — especially Tulip! ❤️ We’ll definitely be back!
This hotel could be so much better.We came here for the 2nd time as last year it was lovely.Unfortunately for us we wont be returning.I would rather pay abit more and get abit more.The food this year is terrible,its cold and does not look appetising at all.The red wine is absolutely disgusting(tastes like cooking wine..cheap and nasty).The entertainment is terribly loud,its that loudcyou have to shout at each other for eachother to listen.Positive is the rooms as they have been renovated from last year and are lovely.The entertainment team and the photographer are amazing.The pool area is lovely,the bar areas are nice but quality of the drinks are poor.This hotel for food,drink needs attention for it to move up in ranking which it could quite easily do as location and the actual hotel settis beautiful.
I have nothing good to say about out 10 day holiday at this hotel.the worst hotel we have been to ever.food always cold,cold soup,cold sprouts,cold mushrooms,cold bakes beans,I even had half an egg shell in scrambled egg one morning,and guess what,that was cold too.misersble bar staff,miserable restaurant staff,I will not ever go back to this hotel,I wouldn't even go back there if it was free.no one we spoke to on holiday there said they would go back,so it wasn't just us
The hotel is located a really short walk from the main strip so is really convenient. It’s a large complex so is not quiet if that’s what you’re looking for. Enough sunbeds around the pool although in the height of summer it might be a struggle. There are closing times so hopefully the towel wars are not a problem here although we didn’t experience any during our stay. Staff are polite. All inclusive package is really reasonable with all your basic local spirits, wine and beer. Main restaurant is spacious, really clean and the food is tasty and plentiful with a good selection. Snack bar and ice creams by the pool is also a nice touch. Rooms are standard. Clean, the beds are comfy and the showers had good pressure and hot water. Towels changed twice a week. Value for money is good. Would recommend for a decent stay in Turkey
