Travelling alone aged 58. Well, what can I say! Rooms need updating desperately and are tiny, even for one person. I was upgraded after the 1st night as my door wouldn’t shut and even the new room was not fit for purpose. The balcony was so small, 2 plastic chairs and not a table. A fellow traveller said she and her daughter took turns sitting out there! 50/50 chance of getting a warm shower depending on the time of day and if you’re 6ft tall good luck with the shower! Bed was very uncomfortable, many a broken sleepless night. I’m not a fussy eater but I do like quality food. Considering this is an all inclusive buffet the food was very good. It caters for the “pile on as many chips, nuggets and pizza on a plate” brigade but has a choice of 3 meats and fish to choose from and you can construct a meal worthy of eating. The menu is different everyday but was repeated after one week I noticed. Salad bar and sauces worth noting for quality. In my 40 years of travel I have never known the entertainment to be so bad, the staff running that team need a brand new approach. It wasn’t just me who thought it was bad judging by the scores of people on their phones in the evening looking totally bored but the exception being the “let’s drink as much as we can from 10am” brigade had fun! Non existent entertainment for the kids during the day but at least the excellent pools kept them from straying. Anyway, enough of me being a GOM, at least the hotel won’t have the pleasure of seeing me again.
Always the best holiday here, we will struggle to ever go anywhere else. The staff are always on hand 🫶🏼🇹🇷 Berkay, will always be like family to us now, 16 years later and we will 100% be returning again next year 🤍
Amazing experience berkey was a fabulous help around the hotel and great with the kids will be back
Been here 5 days and I can absolutely see why so many people are return customers. If you're your looking for a great family hotel with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere this is the spot. Nice size hotel, good pool with lovely views (and no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve beds) and really friendly staff. Food doesn't have the most choice but its been good and there is plenty enough its just not on the scale of some all inc. But on the other hand thats its charm, it feels very personal service. And not to put off those who aren't coming with kids, theres a really good sized pool that doesn't have music/entertainment and is super chill. We always like to try somewhere new and have never returned to a hotel but we're 100% booking here for next year. Top class, great job Greenland and thank you!
