- Belcekiz Beach Club

This attractive hotel is surrounded by pretty, green gardens and situated just steps from the famous azure waters and blue-flag pebble beaches of Oludeniz. The area is well known as one of the best places in the world for paragliding, though guests might be content to simply lounge on the beach or by the expansive outdoor pool. The buffet-style restaurant offers international dishes alongside sea and mountain views from the outdoor terrace, while the snack bar and pool bar offer tasty treats and refreshing drinks throughout the day. The spacious rooms are tastefully furnished with air-conditioning and private balconies or terraces, and the resort provides a jaw-dropping list of facilities so that guests can participate in a wide array of sporting activities, including tennis, aqua aerobics, giant chess and scuba diving.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Check in was straightforward. Porter helped us to rooms with our luggage. We requested adjoining rooms, this was facilitated by the hotel. Although rooms were a little dated,‘they were very clean, good AC, albeit a little small. They had everything you needed. You had free water replenished in your room each day too. You had to pay extra for a safe. Food was absolutely amazing, every meal was superb and as a family of four we all loved each meal. They varied the content and the presentation was perfect. Overall the service in both the restaurant and in the bar areas was attentive, but we found the plaza bar too smoky to enjoy with our children. We had no issues getting pool beds each day in the garden area. We were unable to get beds next to the pool. They provided regular drinks service to our pool beds throughout the day. They had free table tennis and pool for the kids. WiFi was reliable. Hazlem was an amazing server in the pool bar and snack area. He never left you without a drink. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to another family.
The hotel is on Olu Deniz beach front, which made it an excellent location for Olu Deniz’s beach, shops, bars & restaurants! It is also only a short walk to the bus terminal where you can catch buses to Hisaronu and Fethiye. (The taxi rank is also situated there).
The hotel has plenty of food choices, including buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a snack bar that made food to order, afternoon tea and ice cream! We found the food great quality.
There are activities run during the daytime such as darts, water volleyball and French bowls. There are shows most nights at the theatre, and singers/music in the patio bar on an evening. The entertainment staff were great, especially Beatrix, Air & and the Lithuanian boys! The waiting staff were also great throughout our stay, and we will be back for sure in the future!
The only downside to the hotel was the room (256) as it was different to the one we’d seen on a promotional video prior to visiting. Our room was much more basic than the one we’d seen in the video however it was spacious, clean and in a good location. The maid came every day to change towels and bedding. There was only shower gel in the bathroom, so if required, I would recommend bringing shampoo and conditioner.
Overall we really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would look to return!
I was considering giving a score of 4.5 for the stay and hotel but decided to give them a score of 5 for the following reason. I do need to work while i am away and i did some research and read some reviews for the hotels Wifi which was mixed but i contacted the hotel before i got there and asked if i could have a room that had a good wifi connection which they duly sorted for me which i am very grateful for and it was fantastic customer service but was also a great help to me. This was my first visit to Turkeye and this resort and too this resort/hotel so i have decided to give a detailed review for anyone in the same situation below. Check-in We arrived at 5.30am in the morning due to our delayed flight but the two staff on reception were very pleasant/friendly and really helpful and quickly checked us in and showed us too our room which was in the main building as we requested which was on the first floor. They also kindly helped us with the cases and took them to the room for us.
Disabled access The hotel has good disabled access throughout the main building of the hotel with plenty of ramps and a lift for disabled desks to get to the dining area which is situated on a veranda.
Wifi The room wifi is pretty good if you have a room in the main building and i would say 95% of the time it works perfectly but you do get a drop off on the odd occasion but if you get a room in the annexe building across the room the wifi is not the best and i did speak to guests who were staying there and could not get any wifi. Also the wifi generally round the hotel grounds comes and goes and there are often times round the bars where you cannot pick it up but weirdly some times on the beach you can. If you need free wifi then you can either book a deluxe room which are all in the main building so should be ok or request a standard room in the main building but this may be subject to availability.
Rooms The standard room we booked was not the biggest we have ever stayed in but it was spotless and had a small balcony which i would say is big enough for two people but did have a maiden for your towels. There is plenty of storage space and air con is free and very good but safe is chargeable if you have a standard room but free if you book a deluxe room. Again the bathroom is not the biggest we have ever had but again was very adequate and the shower was excellent. There is also a kettle and fridge in the room with tea and coffee and the fridge is filled with water and soft drinks but if you are in a standard room only the water is replenished daily but again if you upgrade to a deluxe room then it is all replenished daily. The room was cleaned daily and maids were superb very friendly and helpful. On you departure date if you have a late flight you can request to keep your room until 4.30 pm at a cost of £25 but if you do not want to pay this you can keep your room till noon and use the spa to get changed.
All inclusive I will start with the food first and both my wife and i said before arriving at the hotel that we would probably have a couple of meals out but as it turned out we did not as the food in the hotel at all meal times was absolutely superb with a great choice and they did theme nights too and could not fault at all. There are snacks available from 2pm till 5pm and cakes from 5pm till 6pm and snacks from 11pm too. The soft drinks are good as is the beer and with regards to the cocktails some are good some not so but again that is down to individual choice.
Beach The beach is a mix of sans/shingle and stones which by the way is just a 15 metre walk from the hotel across the promenade but be aware of the paragliders coming in to land. The hotel has their own sun beds on the beach and has a member of staff who will look after you and help with your parasol etc and these are free for hotel guests but please note you will most certainly need deck shoes as it is difficult to walk on the beach when it is very warm. Also you may need them when getting in and out of the water as it is shingle and does go deep very quickly to about 5ft then quickly again to over 6ft so please bere this in mind with young children. There is booms a little way out so you can only swim so far out and if in a inflatable you cannot float off into the distance. The lagoon which is much safer for young children is a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel reached by turning right out of the back entrance of the hotel onto the promenade and just keep walking and when you come to a fork in the road take the right fork which will take you to Sugar beach which by the way have an agreement with the hotel and if you are a guest of the hotel you can use their facilities free parasols/ sunbeds etc and free wifi all you need to do if you should so wish pay for food and drinks but this is not mandatory. If you do not want to walk the hotel runs a free mini bus at 9.30am and 10.30am in the morning and returning 4pm and 5pm you just need to book it the day before. Staff All the staff are superb so helpful and friendly and all work so hard to make your stay enjoyable and the entertainment staff again superb and do come round letting you know what is happening during the day and evening. As i have said cannot speak highly enough about all the staff superb and a credit to the hotel.
Hotel grounds There are two pools the main pool or the quiet adults pool which is located across the road near the annexe rooms. You do get people queuing to reserve sun beds first thing but not many and you cannot do this until a certain time as access to the pool is unavailable. The grounds are spotless and gardens really nicely set out with sunbeds spread around the garden area too.
Forgot too mention beach towels are free and you can change them daily if you want by going to the spa. Also with regards to money i got told to take euros/pounds and pre payment card but we found it was better just to take a few lira from UK and bring sterling and either pay with sterling or exchange it at exchange booths or use a credit card but most places seem to want Lira or GBP. To sum up i would certainly stay here again and recommend this hotel in fact i have already mentioned to my daughter who is looking at visiting in 2027 as is one of my friends I think the only thing that needs to be improved on is the wifi in the rooms and around the hotel then it would be absolutely perfect as everything else i found to be spot on and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and my first experience of Turkeye Thankyou to all the staff for all your hard work and making our stay really enjoyable.
What a fantastic holiday we had at Belcekiz Beach Club in glorious sunshine!
This was our first trip abroad since before Covid as we had a treasured Shih Tzu, Alfie, 15, who sadly passed recently.
The hotel and its facilities, staff, food, location and entertainment were all excellent.
Highlights:
The location is beautiful and perfect right on the beach and next to the main strip of bars, shops and restaurants. You can get the local bus or taxi from around the corner. The backdrop is Babadag mountain and as an added bonus Paragliders take off all day and fly over the hotel and land just outside the hotel! Its surreal.
Big shout out to the wonderful staff, who are busy, very friendly and efficient. The maids, chefs and entertainment team need a shout out. The entertainments team were always busy. Special mention goes to Billy, Elvis and the indefatigable Air, who helped make this holiday especially memorable. Air is such a quiet, unassuming meek mannered guy ( ha, ha, ha ), who leads a hard working team to make sure that you had a good time, even if you weren't directly involved in the activities.
The evening entertainment was also great, involving international groups/bands and this was always followed up by a great DJ for all to dance. The Plaza bar area was really well set out and also a great place for pre dinner drinks in the sunshine. Table drink service was excellent.
The food was outstanding! The choice was huge at every main meal, catering for all tastes, with great quality and variety. Chefs were always on display cooking you omelettes, or dinner mains, baking flatbreads, etc. We had an excellent Indian meal and Sunday lunch, which were both excellent. I am particular about my food and had zero complaints, the food was always fresh and always so much choice and always plenty of good protein. Even the desserts were so varied, maybe 20 at a sitting! The all inclusive food was the best we have ever had and are well travelled. Well done everyone involved.
The pool area, sun beds, garden areas were all very nice and drinks were brought to you, which was a really nice touch. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard.
Plenty to do locally and the cable car was a highlight and the Blue Lagoon (10 mins, free shuttle bus). The local bars, restaurants and shopping was great and you are not hassled, but naturally there is some haggling to be done.
If you are thinking of booking this hotel - just do it because it is outstanding in all ways, especially the staff. We don't usually return to a specific hotel, but we definitely will to this one! Belcekiz Beach Club take a bow.
Many thanks Jantony
