Belcekiz Beach Club

We have just returned from a 7 night stay of a party of 5 and we had a lovely time. We had a late flight so did not arrive until around 2am and got a lovely welcome from the hotel staff. Check in was easy and we felt we got given all the information required. We had 3 rooms and they were all close together also. Rooms: We stayed in the annexe across the road - on previous stay we had stayed in the main hotel. We had booked a garden view and terrace but never received this, our balcony was small and overlooked the backstreets. However, this was ok as the other 2 rooms had a lovely big balcony on the ground floor. The rooms were always immaculate and the housekeeping staff were lovely and very attentive. Mini fridge in room always stocked daily with two big bottles of water. Towels and bedding were also changed daily. Facilities: In the annexe building there was a quieter pool and in the main building there is the main pool and smaller/shallower pool for children. Pools were always clean. There wasn’t music around the pool which would’ve been a nice touch. The only problem we had was sunbeds. We didn’t go to the pool everyday, however on the few days we did, all the beds were taken by 9am. There is a shop located inside the hotel. The hotel has its own section of the beach which is clean. It is very rocky, so bring appropriate footwear. The beach was lovely as it gave a cool breeze in the heat. There is no bar on the beach. Food and drink: The main buffet restaurant was clean and modern. There was always something to find to eat . There was a theme most nights - noticed Chinese, Indian, Turkish and roast dinner during our stay. There is also an à la Carte for additional fee. Cannot comment as we didn’t try this one. Pool bar and plaza bar just off the main restaurant where the Dj/live music would be at night was lovely. Cocktails could be improved as limited selection. Spirits were okay for all inclusive. No sparkling wine available which would also be nice to add. Staff: Most of the staff were lovely and very attentive. At times, when dining we did have our food and drink taken away when we werent finished and felt a bit rushed, but this was on a few occasions and again not all staff. Activities: The activities were the same daily however the water volleyball seemed popular. There was a show on at the amphitheatre most nights and either a DJ or live music at the plaza bar and kareoke on Sundays. The main activities man (unsure of his name) is great fun and very friendly and welcoming to all. Location: It’s around 1hr 20 minute from Dalaman airport in a private transfer. We got the coach on the way there which was around 2 hours and opted for private on return. Accessibility friendly, not on a hill and flat surface so wheelchair friendly. The hotel is right next to the lively strip with shops and bars and restaurants. We went to Tiki rooftop bar which would really recommend. Lovely food and cocktails and very accommodating staff. Be careful for the paragliders as their take off and landing is outside hotel and they can come down very fast near you. There was a gym and spa and regular exercise classes available. Cannot comment on these WIFI was quite slow in most areas of the hotel. We didn’t get any service in the annexe despite connected to the WIFI so we all bought ESIMS. Overall we had a lovely stay, there is many cats around the hotel which we loved. If you’re a cat lover pack some treats as they’re all very friendly and well looked after (I believe it’s the hotel owners cats and the main activity man looks after some too).

Another fantastic holiday thanks to the amazing staff. They really are what makes this place special! A huge shout out to Megan working the pool and garden drinks during the day. We were a big group but she quickly learnt our orders, put up with our banter and just made our holiday that extra bit special by her friendly attitude and professional work ethic!! I hope the management see how hard she works and what an asset she has been to the hotel this year!!!

Another special shout out to the entertainment team. Air is just brilliant at what he does and Abby has been a brilliant addition to the team this year! A particular hit this holiday was the "Air-obics" - I don't think I have ever seen an entertainer get the WHOLE pool joining in and laughing so hard! I also loved the addition of Sup racing across the pool. I hope this remains a feature for next year too!

Rooms are small but comfy and do the job. Only slight negative is the high bath in some rooms. If you have mobility issues or are older this could be an issue .

Food is amazing - the baked Alaska - out of this world!! Location perfect See you next year!!!
