This hotel is utterly disgusting food is horrid and restaurant is dirty. Cats all over tables while eating . Did not see any where been cleaned! Cost a fortune and couldn't even eat here. Broken steps and pool area dirty!
I never normally listen to reviews but these are right!!! Do not waste your time or money! The food is barely edible with 2 choices and salad. Maybe 2 choices of fruit. You get a wafer or biscuit at 4pm but if you aren’t quick it’s all gone. Everything is mouldy and dirty to be quite honest. We are currently still here and are trying to sort out leaving this hotel. Love holidays aren’t doing anything about it apart from contacting the hotel to discuss so we have to endure this hell for next 4 days, hopefully Travel insurance will cover it because this place is not fit for purpose! Pool area is dangerous, mouldy, damaged, dirty and slippery. Sunbeds broken and you can forget the terrace above the bar, it’s dirty, broken and not in use. We had to eat in the lobby because they can’t accommodate a full hotel. Pool, bar and restaurant is all one combined area and is not adequate for purpose. You get kicked off the sunbeds around 5pm so they can put them away to put tables out for dinner. All inclusive stops at 10.30pm then you have to pay. No snacks or ice creams. No cocktails. No toast or yogurt at breakfast. Breakfast 8-10am, lunch 12-1.30pm, coffee 4-5pm, dinner 7-9pm. Nothing in between. And all inclusive ends at lunchtime on day of departure not until you leave! Myself, my mum and my daughter have all been so hungry so had to leave the hotel and pay to eat out and go to the shops to buy food. You have a total of maybe 5 alcoholic drinks, and same goes for soft drinks, anything name branded has to be paid for. AC only goes to 18c. No hot water in the mornings until late morning. TVs do not work. WIFI does not work. Oh there is no Spa. No shower room or luggage storage for day of departure. Walls throughout the hotel and in rooms are damp, crumbling and dirty. We had to move rooms due to active black mold, faulty balcony door and TV not working but the new room is really no better just has a better balcony door locking mechanism. I have asthma and my mum has COPD so very dangerous not just for us but everyone. I’m so upset we paid all this money and you can’t even get a clean hotel and room and decent food. All other guests I have spoken to are disgusted by the state of it and leave the hotel eat. We did not expect 5* but this is not a 3*, it’s a 1* and I’ve stayed in better 1* hotels than this!!! Please please please do not waste your money.
Checked in at 4am left the hotel by 8am. Don’t ruin your holiday coming to this hotel. Room had an awful smell. It’s run down more than any hotel I’ve been to. I wouldn’t listen to the positive reviews. 19 times I’ve been here in Marmaris and never been to such a mess of a hotel.
Do not go absolutely disgusting food is gross rooms filthy holes by pool sunbeds lying on the metal the list is endless
A hotel in desperate need of renovation, cleaning and basic management. This is not a review based on one bad room or one bad experience. We stayed here and experienced repeated problems throughout the entire hotel. What makes this particularly frustrating is that we complained, documented the problems and were even shown five different rooms – yet none of them was acceptable. FIVE ROOMS – FIVE SETS OF PROBLEMS After complaining about our room, the hotel showed us four alternatives. Unfortunately, every single one had serious problems. Among the issues we encountered:
stagnant air and poor ventilation dirty floors and bathroom
At some point, it genuinely felt like we had to search for a clean spot. And again: this was not one room. FIVE rooms were shown to us. TUI WAS INFORMED – NO HOTEL CHANGE We contacted TUI immediately and repeatedly. We explained the conditions and requested alternative accommodation. The hotel itself could not provide a suitable replacement room. TUI eventually told us that, due to the lack of alternatives during high season, an alternative hotel could not be arranged. Had we been given a realistic alternative, we would have left immediately.
THE HOTEL'S GENERAL CONDITION The problems are not limited to the rooms. The pool bar, café, restaurant and bar are essentially all the same area. There were not enough sun loungers around the pool. The hotel also does not have its own beach loungers available for guests, even for an additional fee. At lunch there was no meaningful choice between à la carte and menu. In the evening there was also no choice between à la carte, buffet and menu. It was simply buffet. There were no sugar-free/zero soft drinks available. Tea was often unavailable until guests specifically asked for it to be refilled, while water was basically the other consistent option.
STAFFING AND HYGIENE The hotel appears severely understaffed. From what we could see, there were perhaps two or three cleaning employees responsible for the entire hotel. It is hardly surprising that they cannot keep up. We witnessed bar staff eating at the bar and, on occasions, spitting into the sink in front of guests. The same staff were also involved in the entertainment program. Even the chef was participating in the entertainment. The overall impression was that the hotel is trying to save money wherever possible.
FOOD Vegetarian guests should be aware that the options are extremely limited. Apart from salad and limp fries, there were almost no proper vegetarian alternatives, while a very large proportion of the food consisted of meat. Even the watermelon was disappointing, with some pieces having more white rind than edible red flesh. It gave the impression that whatever was available was being used rather than providing consistently good-quality fresh food.
OTHER GUESTS We personally witnessed other hotel guests complaining about the conditions during our stay. Therefore, this clearly wasn't just our individual perception.
FINAL VERDICT This hotel urgently needs: RENOVATION. MAINTENANCE. CLEANING. STAFF. AND PROPER MANAGEMENT. If you are looking for a clean, hygienic and properly maintained hotel, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This is not a five-star expectation. Basic hygiene is not luxury. A functioning shower is not luxury. A clean toilet is not luxury. A working balcony door is not luxury. A functioning minibar is not luxury. A clean room is not luxury. These are basic hotel standards. Supreme Marmaris Hotel failed to meet them in our experience.
