The renovated city hotel Myra is centrally located in a quiet area of Marmaris, yet only 200 metres away from the beach, the seaside promenade and the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The Karacan Point Center is just a step away, the Atlantis and Aqua Dream water parks can be reached within minutes on foot. The city centre with its vibrant nightlife as well as a multitude of shops, restaurants, bars and cafés is within a short stroll. All of the hotel's rooms have air-conditioning, and many also have a private balcony. Features of the hotel include an outdoor pool with terrace and a children's pool. The restaurant serves the food in a buffet style and offers guests indoor and outdoor seating options. This hotel is a great starting point to explore Marmaris and ideal for people who wish to spend a beach holiday without being in the centre of the action.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Left marmaris last year as an holiday rep. after 10 years. I’ve seen the best of the best. Worst of the worst. Jumped over for a cheap all inclusive. If you’ve been to Marmaris you get it. But even this. Horrific. Disgusting pool area, never cleaned. Breakfast lunch and dinner are like nothing I’ve expected in marmaris in TC, TUI OR EasyJet hotels. Burger van burgers from a blue bag, RATIONED. You’re given food? Ask for something as simple as a chicken nugget at dinner which is 1 of only 4 hot dishes. with an empty plate, youre got given 2. If you’ve like plain wet cold pasta, and 3 day old mayo dishes then you’ll be happy. Bar is only open till 10:30. And if you approach to fast even as part of a family, you’ll be told no. Any time of the day. Fight it, you’ve paid. However the stress isn’t worth it. This is not ALL INCLUSIVE. Unless you’re a barfly propped up all day all inclusive dropping tips. A million flies, wasps, mosquitos around a spilled coffee… you ask for a mop to do it yourself and they tell you no. You ask if someone can do it they say “when they feel like it”. A dead pool, no guests. Even so, it takes an hour. Awful. Simply awful.
Location is nice, atmosphere is horrendous, staff need to crack a smile.. man behind the bar was great though. Cleaner done great job.
meant to be all inclusive but staff look at you like you’ve shot someone when you asked for more food and sigh, never got asked if we wanted a drink or anything from our seats but the staff waited on men with the same nationality and brought them countless plates and drinks each without them having to move, no one knows how to form a queue and it’s a fight for the first bit of food otherwise you won’t get any, wasn’t much of a selection anyway, fish was smothered in greasy oil and was barely edible, chips were just warmed up and was cold. Would’ve been better with more of a selection of hot protein foods instead of just one a night
Was only a selection of drinks available for all inclusive ( vodka / gin ) none imports, the juice machine in the foyer ran out several times as well and staff couldn’t of cared less to fix it.
Bed wasn’t comfy had to swap the mattress over to make it comfier, air con and hot water all worked ideally.
Bar shuts at half 10 at night which is a shame. Don’t think il be staying here again.

Bedroom was ok although we booked a double room and it was 2 single beds, air conditioning was a life saver. Bathroom could do with a refurb bit dated , grout needs redone shower dated and floor got soaking every time we used it. Breakfast was very basic cold meat , cheese, bread and hard boiled eggs...no toast or bacon or sausages. Lunch wasn't much better.. same selection of salads every day. They weren't labeled so had no idea what was in them not great especially if you have food allergies. One day it was chicken wings and chips for lunch no other choice. Chicken nuggets another day . Dinner was pretty rubbish same salads as every other day and the main choice on one day was supposed to be roast beef ...it was actually more like burgers in gravy not good. Chips were always cold.You could have soft drinks from the bar that started of as branded juice then became cheap price alternatives. You could also have beer again cheap stuff. Vodka was available also. Any other drink you had to pay for. There were no snacks or ice-cream during the day if you wanted something you had to buy from local supermarkets. Pool was ok. No entertainment either. And for people travelling with kids no activities for them. We had to eat out every day. Which cost a fortune. We were supposed to be all inclusive but had to sacrifice doing boat trips or days out as was having to buy food daily. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. I have literally just returned this evening and I’ve gone straight to the review because quite frankly I’m livid. I went with my 11yr old son. Haven’t been abroad for quite some years due to health reasons so it was a special holiday. The hotel Is an absolute disgrace. I’ve stayed in some absolute holes. I’ve worked offshore. Travelled when I was younger and stayed in hostels and they were all better than this dump. Most of the brits that were there at the same time are all submitting complaints to tui. It’s staggering that they are advertising this. I booked through loveholidays but most comments say it’s a tui hotel. The staff are rude. Miserable. ODD! The night porter tries to kiss children until told it’s really not appropriate (I’ve seen one or two comments on here about him) and it’s not the usual touchy cultural thing. Just odd behaviour. The rooms are dated. Very basic. I paid EXTRA for a balcony room instead of a Land view room . We were ground floor and facing a dumping ground of a garden and the bar! Reception staff cannot get access to any housekeeping things like shower gel or towels after about maybe 3pm. The location is great for the beach, but then again so is the taxi shack round the corner so maybe I should’ve saved some money and booked there. It would’ve been a nicer experience. The abundance of feral cats, while might look cute, are flea ridden and scratch people if you try to get them off the table when you shoo them away. There’s no air con inside in the public areas so they have the doors wide open so the cats come inside at meal times. And with that I reach the big one. The food. I honestly wouldn’t give it to a dog. Or a cat for that matter. No snacks for the kids during the day. Breakfast is some form of eggs and bread and the exact same rubbish of multiple bowls of salads they put on at every meal. Everything is warm. The only meal available is one “meat” dish, usually a variation on burger meat (one night it said “roast meat” it was….you guessed it shaped burger meat and gravy) and then either chips, or rice. No desserts for kids. NO FOOD FOR KIDS. So I’ve literally had to spend all the money I’d saved for trips etc on food for eating out because marmaris is an absolute rip off for food. One particular staff member who serves the food is just so miserable. Gives child portions to adults and then a staff member nips in with their plate and it’s piled high! Then again small portions of the food is absolutely for the best. I’ve attached photos as a few people have. The “bbq” night was chicken and…..shaped burger meat into chop shape haha. I’ll be putting my complaint in to loveholidays tomorrow but I doubt anything will come of it. The drinks are awful too. The spirits are CLEARLY watered down. No atmosphere in the bar at all. People just get out of there. So again we went out and spent money outside of the hotel. If I could give it zero stars I would.
