- Myra Hotel

The renovated city hotel Myra is centrally located in a quiet area of Marmaris, yet only 200 metres away from the beach, the seaside promenade and the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The Karacan Point Center is just a step away, the Atlantis and Aqua Dream water parks can be reached within minutes on foot. The city centre with its vibrant nightlife as well as a multitude of shops, restaurants, bars and cafés is within a short stroll. All of the hotel's rooms have air-conditioning, and many also have a private balcony. Features of the hotel include an outdoor pool with terrace and a children's pool. The restaurant serves the food in a buffet style and offers guests indoor and outdoor seating options. This hotel is a great starting point to explore Marmaris and ideal for people who wish to spend a beach holiday without being in the centre of the action.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I have stayed in many 3 star hotels and have been coming to Turkey for 12 years. I can say this is not a hotel I will be coming back to.
I walked in to hotel and the service was poor. We were given our key not told where to go, not told about food times, not given any information or details about our stay. There were no conversation or words really spoken at the desk.
When we arrived to our room, I felt as though we were pushed away, as we were put to the top floor in a corner room. This felt different to the rest of the hotel.
The shower was a tray on the floor, which was not the case for other rooms. The taps on the sink were so delayed with releasing the water.
Because we were on the top floor, our balcony is basically the roof and all the tiles were moved, broken or stuck on messily. Not a great view either.
There’s a banging noise all day and all night from what I can only think of is the lift. We were 3 floors up in the lift and then had to take an extra trip up some stairs.
The selection of food is shocking. For breakfast there’s eggs, meat and cheese. As a vegetarian it’s not a great place. The selection of fruit and cereals were between 2. There was practically nothing hot to eat because the food hall was so small.
This is less than a 3* hotel, location is perfect but the rest is a mess.
No atmosphere at all, no one really speaks, no entertainment if you’re looking for some.
Everything was falling apart in my room, wallpaper, taps, shower parts etc
Addressed the issue with hotel manager and he said “do you want me to knock the hotel down” lol
If you’re going here don’t have high hopes for a nice 3* as it’s a basic hotel more of a B&B
Our stay at Myra Hotel was absolutely perfect. Right from the start, the service was flawless, everyone was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. It felt like we were being taken care of by friends, not just staff.
The fresh fish dinner prepared by Spiros was incredible. The flavors were amazing, and it was clear how much care went into every dish. We loved every bite!
Mihalis wine suggestions were a game-changer. He knew exactly what would pair best with our meals, and it made the whole experience even better.
The overall hospitality was so warm and personal. We felt so welcome and relaxed. It was the kind of stay where you just don’t want to leave!
Mania & Tassos We’d come back in a heartbeat! 💙
Tracey Porter 4 reviews 25 minutes ago New Holiday | Couple The Hotel was generally clean . Bedroom was ok although we booked a double room and it was 2 single beds, air conditioning was a life saver. Bathroom could do with a refurb bit dated , grout needs redone shower dated and floor got soaking every time we used it. Breakfast was very basic cold meat , cheese, bread and hard boiled eggs...no toast or bacon or sausages. Lunch wasn't much better.. same selection of salads every day. They weren't labeled so had no idea what was in them not great especially if you have food allergies. One day it was chicken wings and chips for lunch no other choice. Chicken nuggets another day . Dinner was pretty rubbish same salads as every other day and the main choice on one day was supposed to be roast beef ...it was actually more like burgers in gravy not good. Chips were always cold. You could have soft drinks from the bar that started of as branded juice then became cheap price alternatives. You could also have beer again cheap stuff. Vodka was available also. Any other drink you had to pay for. There were no snacks or ice-cream during the day if you wanted something you had to buy from local supermarkets. Pool was ok. No entertainment either. And for people travelling with kids no activities for them. We had to eat out every day. Which cost a fortune. We were supposed to be all inclusive but had to sacrifice doing boat trips or days out as was having to buy food daily. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. Unfortunately I would not stay here again Rooms: 3/5 | Service: 3/5 | Location: 3/5
Rooms Big enough for a couple . Bathroom dated Pay extra for a safe.
Nearby activities Couldn't do activities as we had to eat out daily so couldn't afford to do both
Walkability Close to the main shopping strip and 3 streets away from beach
Food and drinks Food rubbish Drinks cheap alternatives
Perfect location, rooms spotless great value
