Directly on the beach.Hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. It is possible to get a minibus in every 5 minutes to city center in front of the hotel. Also there is a taxi station near by the hotel.
From all the great reviews, I was hoping this could be a brilliant holiday.
Just returned from 9 days, beachfront room all Inc.
Well all I can say is that this probably was a 4* at some point in the past, but has been left behind and it sadly is now in need of lots of TLC, broken tiles around the pools shabby corridors with shabby stained sofas and carpets . Cleaners trolleys and surplus loo rolls abandoned near a glass fronted lift on each floor. Rooms seem very small and rather tired. Very few plug sockets. Tv miniscule with only local channels. Food very repetitive, and quality randomly swinging between wow that's good to wow that's horrid. Omelette guy needs lessons on how an Omelette is made, they are not meant to be deep fried and black on one side. On the flip side, the ice cream stall was really good, but only open a couple of hours at a time. Staff mostly were very good and attentive especially if you dropped 100 lira in their hand. Bar Staff all good, drinks fairly basic but passable for an all in. Entertainment mostly sub par with the exception of the ninja show.
The location is fairly good for some shops and restaurants/ bars near to the hotel. Free water fridges everywhere.
Turkish day.. absolutely kills the atmosphere, the only people that appreciate the all day long wailing music are the staff. Other days are fine with random playlists playing around the pool.( upbeat, slow and chilled and oldies regardless of the language they are in)
Would I return... nope.....much better available in the same price band.
Plus side the view is spectacular. Coffee shop really good. Ice cream good, bus home good....
We just got home from our fantastic holiday at prime beach ,plenty of choices for food ,yes it gets repetitive but there's allways something to have,you won't go hungry.Drinks are good ,cocktails wernt brilliant, shots were very good though.First time in Turkey I have been able to drink effes before I found it was very tangy .Entertainment staff very friendly ,big shout out to nino lovely guy allways willing to chat and even played a few games of cards with us .Also Uzzy ( hope i spelt is name properly)very friendly and funny .Angel and Rose lovely girls .Sunlongers are too close together but we got around that ,couldn't believe the few people who would literally run past you to get their beds absolutely ridiculous, get a grip .When these few people left it was calmer to get a bed.We unfortunately had a family of about 12 adults and so many kids they would appear everyday after dinner and they really annoyed everyone, couldn't care less about anyone else ,no respect ,no consideration. Kids and the parents no manners whatsoever. Dive bombing into the pool absolutely soaking everything, couldn't read a book in peace and forget it if you wanted a snooze in the afternoon, the noise from them was deafening. Everyone who was use to sitting in that area before they arrived all ended up moving elsewhere .The father and son out of the group who would arrive at the pool before the rest of them ,thought it was OK to play with a large ball with the kid kicking it absolutely anywhere right across the pool .Many people got hit with the ball even very young babies were hit in the head with the ball ..They were a nightmare. Ok back to the hotel Entertainment was brilliant ,the one evening the team puts on a show was silly but very funny .Ninja show amazing also the guys who twisted his body omg into all sorts amazing. Got to say though all very good .Turkish night was also very good, belly dancer amazing ,only trouble was throughout the day its literally Turkish music all day ,would be good to mix the music surely that would satisfy everyone. All the staff day and night very pleasant I did find one guy at the bar very offish ,once it was my turn to get served and he walked away left me and another guy just standing there ,we had to join the other que then ,we wernt impressed at all it was downright rude.vedec ( hopefully spelt it right ) lovely guy also cesar in the evenings very friendly couldn't do enough for you.Hotel reception staff very friendly and helpful,hotel is beautiful. Lady cleaning the room hardly left us water or soft drinks we had to help ourselves has the trolly was left by our rooms by the lift .Room was tidy view was absolutely amazing.BUT the bed I found very uncomfortable, I had to sleep on pillows to try and get some comfort.Never get this problem when we go to Egypt their beds of so comfortable, I found the sun loungers more comfortable than the bed to sleep on lol.The loungers around the pool are amazing so comfortable. The water in the pool everyone was saying its freezing, you really have to get in grin and bear it until you get use to it ,( Would be good if it was heated slightly).The toilets by the main pool why are they so low its like they just suitable for children ,those of us who are older and especially with bad knees/ hips very painful .They way too low . All in all we loved our stay at Prime Beach and definitely looking to return next year.
A lovely getaway with fantastic staff
We had a really lovely stay at Prime Beach and overall had a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, which really made a difference throughout our stay.
The views from the hotel are beautiful, and the whole property was very clean and well looked after. The rooms were comfortable and perfectly fine for our stay, although they could benefit from being a little more modern and spacious.
The food was plentiful and there was an amazing amount of choice, so there was always something to suit everyone. The only downside was that the restaurant could sometimes feel quite chaotic, particularly during busy meal periods. We also found the meal periods to be shorter than we have experienced at other hotels, which could make things feel a little rushed.
The entertainment team deserve a special mention. They were absolutely amazing, worked incredibly hard and were always putting in the effort to keep everyone entertained and involved.
Overall, we had a fantastic getaway and really enjoyed our time at Prime Beach. The friendly staff, beautiful views, cleanliness, food choice and hardworking entertainment team made it a memorable stay. We would happily return!
Could be so much better with a few small changes. The pros, nice area, nice room, checking in and out went smoothly. The food is repetitive but there is plenty of choice. The bars serves decent drinks and the staff are relatively friendly. There is an endless supply of watermelon and ice cream for the kids throughout the day. The cons, the evening entertainment is no more than 4 out of 10 unless you like playing bingo, the entertainment throughout the day is lacklustre as the staff have very little energy to engage the guest. There is no clothes iron to hire but the hotel is willing to charge you £4 upwards to iron a shirt. The house keeping staff have no customer service skills and could do with some training in being polite. The pool is the coldest pool I’ve ever been in in spite the hot weather. The management should invest in heating up the water. The beach is a joke as it is very rocky with lots of dark shadows in the water and it is freezing as well. Would I revisit this hotel? No is the answer as they are better options available. Would o revisit Marmaris? Yes I would. Beware of the airport transfer time as the hotel is quite far from Dalaman Airport.
Visited Cuts & Colours Hairdressers within the hotel grounds. The Manager curly yener were absolutely amazing. My first visit and they made me feel so welcome. I had brand new Russian hair extensions , a full head colour , full head of highlights, Keratin treatment along with cut wash and blow wave and it was like walking out a new person. Never have I received hair care it in my life. They were So good I have Just nipped in for a wash and blow wave before going home, no appointment and made Me feel so very welcome. I will be back next year along with the girls and this will be our first stop in Marmaris. Thank you so very much. Ladies do not hesitate to pay this team a visit I promise you now you will never regret it!! Forget Uk prices go to see the boys and get spoiled!!! ❤️❤️😘
