Give this hotel a try if you have family. The entertainment team and staff at this hotel deserve five star plus alone . My grandson had an accident at the pool -( not the hotels fault) was immediately tended to by the hotel nurse and manager who arranged for him to be seen at the local hospital who were all amazing and within an hour was back happily playing at the hotel pool ☺️. Fab staff. Thank you 🙏
Hotel is absolutely amazing. I love the staff they are polite and friendly. I came with my family for a week, the pools and kids pool is clean and hygienic.
Jack hairdresser is amazing I got my hair extensions done I will come back next year. I am so pleased and happy with the service I received.
Highly recommend!!! :)
Not an overall bad hotel, lots of updating required rooms clean but need updating. Staff and entertainment very clicky they find their favourites and stick to them and ignore everyone else. Sherlock Holmes’s bar is not the best probably why hardly anyone goes in there. Food well it depends what your use to but we always find something but we did eat out most nights as we were meeting family. Evening entertainment consisted of kids kind of disco which is to be expected after all it’s a family hotel and should be all about the kids, then bingo…..£5 for 1 strip of tickets every night then a different show after that for about 30/45 minutes and that was it overall not bad. Now the sunbed situation if your not up before 7am you may struggle to get on most of the time and the pool wow like a scene from the titanic Big hill to walk up and down to the hotel and quite a way from the main part of marmaris but some good shops, restaurants, bars nearby.
Where do I even start with this..... As a family with 2 children ages 5 and 10 and after reading some reviews I was very sceptical....but we have just enjoyed the best 2 week holiday we have ever had as a family .... The hotel is in a great location with shops/bars close by and the arumatalan strip a short 5/10 minutes walk away, the beach front about 15 minutes walk. The food was good, something for everyone and different each day.... The hotel staff were brilliant...nothing was too much for any one of them, from the reception staff kaan and Ceren, to Ali cleaning plates and cups up around the pool, to all the bar staff just great and always happy.... Then there's the entertainment team.... THE BEST TEAM EVER! Amy and Lar from kids club were wonderful, Barney with so much energy and joining in with anyone and everyone making everyone's day....John and Deniz were absolutely fantastic and always up for a laugh....and then I couldn't forget my main man and brother Lucifer who seriously made me feel like his own actual brother ❤️.... For 2 weeks they all made me feel like an actual member of their own entertainment team.... Can't recommend Grand Cettia enough!
I came in the middle of August for a week with my two boys aged 3 and 7 and my mum. I was a little bit worried after seeing some reviews but we really enjoyed ourselves. I will say I don’t really know the huge fuss about the entertainment team, they tended to just go to the same people each day. The entertainment was your basic all inclusive entertainment nothing too special in the day or night just the usual water polo, mini disco and then outside entertainment but this didn’t start till 10 so we never watched it all. The pool party was awful though, I was really disappointed with this. My 3 year old ended up with a bruise the size of the ball on his arm thanks to adults and the entertainers lobbing it around the pool. Other than that all the staff were nice, I found the food alright, the snack bar food was lovely but that can get a decent sized q. The location for the hotel is decent, not too far from the main shops. It was very busy but that’s to be expected anywhere in August. Room was lovely, balcony quite small but fine for just one or two people to sit on. I probably wouldn't come back to this hotel just because I like trying new places but l wouldn’t let the reviews put you off. It’s definatly not awful and you can easily have a great time here
