- Hotel Grand Cettia

This beautiful hotel is located in the heart of Marmaris, where the magical blue of the Aegean Sea and green pines combine to create fabulous natural surroundings. There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity of this establishment. Guests will find restaurants within some 300 m of the hotel and bars and clubs are located around 1 km away. This family friendly club resort is ideal for holidaymakers and business travellers alike. It provides a relaxing yet lively atmosphere with bright and modern décor, excellent accommodation, service and facilities. In addition to the wide range of facilities the hotel offers, a kids' club and a playground is also included. It is truly the perfect choice for couples and families of all ages. Guests can retire at the end of their day to the spacious, modern, comfortable and well-equipped rooms which have one king-size or 2 twin beds plus a sofa bed.
I have never left a negative review and feel so bad doing so but want others to be prepared. I am not fussy nor are my kids and we have been here before.
Second time back and unfortunately will be my last. Hotel is far too busy now, full of loud English people who just want to drink and sunbathe leaving their kids unsupervised at the kids pool all day.
Staff do amazing job but hotel is sadly becoming a Turkish butlins now due to rowdy brits.
Sunbeds so tightly squashed together almost on top of each other! Seems pool areas noy big enough now for guests using not sure if due to day guests or apartment visitors? Wasn’t like this last time we came.
Rooms were amazing and so clean, spa staff lovely. All staff were so friendly and helpful.
Kids club really only runs from 10.15-11.45. Afternoon sessions outside so bit risky for younger ones. Kids splash area never open not was the play park. Kids disco was carnage as squash all the kids onto tiny stage which I felt was bit dangerous for the wee ones to be honest.
Food was the worst I’ve ever had- same stuff being dished out, very poor choice unless all you want is chicken nuggets and chips or fishy rice and lamb in watery sauces. Been to Turkey so many times and done lots of all inclusive an including here 10 years ago but never again. Had to eat out x3 times as kids were just starving.
Kids pool area is great although sunbed wars are insane- idiots leaving towels at crack of dawn then not using them til lunchtime. Did see staff last couple of days laying cards down asking not to leave towels on unused beds but sadly selfish people didnt care and saw couple just throw the cards on the floor!
The staff work so hard to keep this hotel spotless and guests happy please note this review is no reflection of them, but management need to sort out the food and sunbed situation.
This is the worst holiday we’ve ever been… Originally we’ve had a room in the main building, which had very old centralised aircon; we were complaining for the first 3 days, and everyone we’ve been told that they will send someone, but nobody came, so we’ve had to get jet2 rep involved, then they finally switched rooms for us. Rooms are tiny, and beds are full of BED BUGS!!! We were waking up to new bites each morning (there are also cockroaches). Food is fresh, but dull and there is no taste to it, so we’ve had to go out to eat as this experience was depressing to say the least. It is overall a clean place; staff is polite, but not really helpful… As other people mentioned you need to que for the food, and place is absolutely packed! No space to move. People keep reserving lounges, because there is not enough for everyone, so if you’re not going to wake up like 7am each morning, then forget, about getting a lounge, unless of course you give a bribe to the staff. Many people that we’ve talked to complained that their stuff was moved from their places by staff, because they were bribed to move it by other people (absolutely ridiculous). Also these pictures are super old, as lots of stuff is old and worn out! For example, the playground that looks so nice on these pics is actually closed off and condemned!! Tarmac crumbled and all the stuff falling apart! There is no entertainment except water aerobics and some darts! And night entertainment is a kids shows with the same repertuar each night, same songs, activities; it honestly drives you crazy! There is much more to it, but I’ll leave it at that! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE STANDARDS! It truly was the worst time ever, and money wasted!!
Hotel is very small and sunbeds jam packed together, check in was quick enough, staff go out of their way to help, entertainment team are brilliant, excellent location close to everything. Food is average and we ate out a lot and you got to be up real early to get a decent sun bed, plus the rooms are dated with not enough plug sockets. Overall good e enjoyed our stay but would chose a bigger hotel next time
I honestly cannot fault this hotel as a returning guest with my family. This hotel has my heart in so many ways, especially the entertainment team, Barney, Deniz, Lucifer, Lar, Amy and John. In fact everyone at the hotel from those in reception, to the bar staff, to the waiting staff and cleaners, they are all fantastic. The food is always great, always something for people to eat. The size of the hotel supports the closeness of the staff and the guest. We will be back as I’m so sad to be leaving. BARNEY is the best waterpolo player ever and he is even better than any professional players
⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Grand Cettia! The staff were welcoming and always happy to help, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food offered plenty of variety. The pool area was fantastic and there was always a great atmosphere. The entertainment team kept everyone smiling, and the location made it easy to explore Marmaris. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!
