Grand Pasa Hotel

Just got back from a two week stay. Staff and hotel were amazing . I did not want to come home . My room was cleaned every day and the food was fantastic , with choices for all tastes. The entertainment staff went above and beyond and nighttime entertainment was good and varied. The staff were so helpful and great with my 5 year old granddaughter. Everything thing you need is on site , hair dresser, shops and a spa which I treated myself to . I paid 85 pounds for two hours pampering best spa ever. Went to Oscar’s in marmaris for best roast dinner in turkey so far . Can’t wait to go back . Thank you all for such a great holiday .

I and my family arrived at the Grand Pasa Hotel around 2 AM, tired from travel, but were met with no greeting, light refreshment or welcome of any kind, we simply waited in a queue, upon our turn the check-in staff simply said “Yes?”, as though what are you doing here.
This lack of hospitality immediately set the wrong tone.

Despite booking two rooms for my family (the other for my sons) hoping for rooms either connecting, adjoining or not far from each other. Instead, we were placed 29 rooms apart, which was highly inconvenient. Worse still, the rooms were filthy upon arrival, far below the standard expected of a resort which claims 5 star.

To make matters worse, for the first time ever at a resort, we were told to attend a “meeting” at 10:30 AM the next morning. Having just arrived at 2 AM, this was unreasonable.
Attended and the meeting turned out to be nothing more than a sales pitch for activities and excursions, which felt manipulative and unnecessary.

Food generally had limitless options however it was mostly cold, flies here and there, cats in the dinning hall. Staff preparing certain options was another low point. “Ege” prepared an omelette as though it was scrambled, in unsanitary conditions with remnants and dirt around it. When asked a question about it, he eased and simply moved on to the next guest’s order. This was both unhygienic and disrespectful.

Amenities were lacking. Robes were not provided, and there were no irons in the rooms. If you wanted to iron clothes, you had to pay for a service. Around the pool, staff constantly tried to sell activities and extras rather than simply provide information and leave guests to decide in their own time if or when.

The first resort I have seen more guests with own towels as opposed to the one provided by the resort because resorts towels are mostly worn out, look dirty and they hardly have enough.

Generally, staff seemed rude and discriminatory, management was nowhere to be seen throughout our stay. The atmosphere was uncomfortable for us. What was meant to be a relaxing family holiday turned into wasted funds, as the experience fell far short of expectations. There was no visible leadership, leaving us feeling unsupported and our issues unresolved with only a few exceptions of 3 staff members who went above and beyond with their approach and service. • Yasa was fantastic, always smiling, attentive, and consistent. He made every visit to the dining hall pleasant, ensuring we had everything we needed. • Demi and Delvin, by the pool, were polite and courteous, contributing positively despite the shortcomings elsewhere. These three individuals stood out and did their best to improve the atmosphere, even though the overall service was very disappointing.

Evening entertainment helped in some way to spend your time. Nothing more than a 2 star based on our experience.

Would I take my family to this resort again? 100% No.
