This attractive hotel is situated about 3.5 km from the centre of Marmaris, which can be reached with the convenient Dolmus (taxi-sharing) service. The beautiful beach lies just 300 metres from the hotel.
The hotel comprises a total of 115 rooms spread over 4 floors. The inviting lobby houses a reception, where friendly staff are on duty night and day, and a lift. The hotel features a small supermarket and a shop. Dining options include a pleasant bar and an elegant restaurant where guests can sample culinary delicacies. Room service rounds off the facilities on offer.
The comfortably furnished rooms all come with an en suite bathroom. Fittings include a direct dial telephone and a radio. All rooms have a balcony.
In the well-maintained outdoor complex is a swimming pool, a paddling pool, and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Guests may enjoy a game of billiards. Various water sports are on offer at the beach (for an additional fee), such as windsurfing, sailing, pedaloes, and waterskiing.
Guests are able to select their breakfast and dinner from a buffet.
When we arrived we did not receive the best service. We were given our room key and sent on our way. The rooms online were very deceiving and did not appear how they were on there. My mom who is 70 years old was expected to share a double bed with her 30 year old son. The first night he slept on the chair in the room as of course he did not want to share the bed. We have not got access to the tv I have a 1 year old child. This is something you expect at a 5 star resort. There is no night club as advertised when booking. I will say the entertainment was exceptional and majority of the staff were amazing. I would like to give massive props to jenny she has been SO accommodating to all our needs and has made a massive impact on our trip to Turkey!
We were offered a trip to the night club with the reps. We went alongside lorenzo. Overall the night club experience was amazing. However we were left
In the club. He was nowhere to be seen. Of course when offered a guaranteed transfer to and from the hotel tho was extremely disappointing.
We asked for milk at the reception for my one year old child. as they state the have a 24 hour patisserie. The receptionist was extremely rude and said ‘go and buy some from the super market’ when spending such an amount on booking an all inclusive 5 star resort. You would expect these sort of things. Over all we had a lovely break away but would 100% say that this is not a 5 star standard.
Overall we had a great holiday. The hotel itself was very clean but has some room for improvement. We were here the first two weeks of July before the English schools had broken up and the hotel was getting noticeably busier as we were leaving.
Location-wise the hotel is on the main road about 15/20 mins walk to Marmaris Harbour. The beach front is only a couple of minutes walk away where there are watersports and a water taxi available to Icmeler and Turunc along with many bars and restaurants. ATMs are available if you turn left out of the hotel and walk for a couple of minutes or at the Migros which is on the opposite side of the street to the right (Halkbank is currently fee-free).
Entertainment was poor. The entertainment team was inconsistent in letting children do any of the daytime activities. Also if you do win any activities do not be expecting any certificates or prizes. The weekly night-time karaoke was advertised as being adults only. There is water aerobics showing on the information videos but this does not now happen. There are no water activities at all. The evening entertainment was on a weekly rotation. There is a mini disco at 8.30, then bingo every night at 9 (have to pay for this and you only play for a full house), show from 9.30 and then that is it. The pool bar serves until 12 which is good and prevents the normal drinks rush at an all inclusive.
There was no all inclusive ice cream through the day - have to pay for ice creams at the shop. These are reasonably priced, man who works in the shop is lovely! There were ice cream cones available each night at dinner however.
Spirits at pool bar seemed quite weak (sign at the bar does state that). Drinks were served in small paper cups - you can buy bigger cups at the on-site shop, for about 1 pound each, which the staff are happy to fill. The lounge bar was much better at night and served drinks in glasses. This shuts at 11 when the over 18 Blackout bar opens next door until 1am (drinks still included as part of the all-inclusive).
Rooms were quite small. There was not much hanging space and the bathroom was not big. There was a free safe included in the room which was good to see and the air conditioning worked very well. The TV only really had news channels in English. Housekeeping was daily with new towels if required.
Food was good especially omelettes at breakfast (an art form to watch) and jacket potatoes in the outside part for dinner. Food at lunch and dinner was good. The food wasn't piping hot but there was a good variety of items to pick from. There was no queueing for the dining room at all while we were there which was great.
We had no sunbed problems when we were here in July. We always got the amount of beds we wanted coming down around 8.30 every morning. There were lots of extra beds stacked up beside pool table/to right of stage if needed.
The pool was large and the same depth, 5ft, all the way round and no shallow end. There was a small separate splash pool too for little ones. There were 2 slides at one end and these were much better than we had expected - our children had at least an hour or two of fun on them every day. The lifeguards at the slides were pleasant too.
Wifi was OK but limited to 3 devices per room.
All staff we met seemed happy and pleasant.
Overall we had a very nice holiday. It was nice not having a sunbed problem and not having to queue for dinner but the hotel could improve it's entertainment offer and have ice cream included during the day.
With no longer being back from this hotel, we’ve been a previous times before cleanliness of the hotel is really good rooms cleaned not that great my granddaughter had a problem where her money was stolen from one of the cleaners we believe also I spoke to another couple and they said the same thing. Money had gone missing from rooms we did report it to reception to have a look on Camera, they said reported to the police shouldn’t have to do that also drinks soft drinks are watered down so much doesn’t taste like what you should taste like food in Restaurant excellent always find something to eat afternoon snack bar not that cry same old thing pizza chicken nuggets, chips staff in Restaurant very good work so hard the British liaison officer is absolutely excellent. She will do everything she can to help with any situation. I wish her all the best. We was a big family to us and had a great holiday great hotel will be coming by next year
I really like this hotel, I had an amazing suite with pool view and also you could see the sea in the distance because I was on the fourth floor, all the staff were fantastic and really hard-working the hotel is exceptionally clean, it is located one road away from the beach but that’s no hardship for me, sadly I’m not a fan of the Marimus beach and coastline it is rather grainy, rather than Sandy, so I spent most of my time in the hotel, the pool is pretty deep, but there are lots of floats and inflatables around the pool as long as you watch small children you should have plenty of fun, the on-site shop was pretty reasonably priced, and if you want to do more shopping, there are hundreds of shops around the area to choose from, all inclusive food wasn’t too bad, I managed to have several decent lunches. I thought lunch was better than the evening meal, and personally I would’ve liked to have seen the little cake shop also do a savoury sandwich available, I was in room 433 and I would like to mention the only negative thing I found about the hotel was the bed. It wasreally hard like there was no spring in the mattress whatsoever and I was going to go and mention it to reception, but I love the room and wouldn’t wanted to move so I put up with it. It wasn’t the most comfortable sleep I’ve ever had which is a shame because that’s really what you need when you’re on holiday.
Stayed here with my sister. Lovely clean rooms with air con. Beautiful balcony view. Food and drink were very nice. Staff were polite and friendly. Very good location, very near to bars and strip. Could book excursions through the holiday rep in the hotel. Amazing spa facilities, had a turkish bath massage and was so relaxing. Very enjoyable stay and would definitely be back. Very big pool. Shop, nurse and hair and beauty salon on sight.
