Great staff lovely clean hotel as a solo traveller was made to feel very welcome.
Just got home from this hotel and thought I would write a review. It was our first time visiting Turkey and it did not disappoint. The hotel was lovely and clean the staff were friendly and very helpful the rooms were very decent and cleaned daily. Nothing was ever any bother for any of the staff. The pool area was well kept there was no sun bed wars which was a bonus we could have been out all day on excursions come back and got 4 beds for the family the whole vibe and atmosphere is very chilled. I slept very well here I didn’t find it noises at all. The bar staff are great and the food is beautiful I read reviews saying it was pricey for the food but as a family of 4 we found it very reasonable. The location is great and easy to get around. I would absolutely recommend and we are even planning our second trip here. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
I paid to upgrade the rooms prior to arriving due to the reviews. One for myself and one for my mum, they kindly put us a couple doors away from each other but my mum was so upset with hers compared to mine, her aircon wasn’t as cold or strong, she really struggled getting in and out of her bathroom as the door blocked the toilet and shower, she had loads of furniture cluttered in front of her as well. You have to pay to watch the television £5 a day or £10 a week which is wild to me, I’ve been all over the world and the televisions have had almost all channels for free, albeit not all English but still! I have given it a 2 because not once in my room did my WiFi work unless I went onto the balcony. We arrived at 2am and I wanted to let people know as mine and my mum’s phones seemed to had blocked when we got into turkey even with roaming on and accepting the charges, so I was heavily reliant on WiFi the entire week and unfortunately wasn’t able to. I had to book excursions in coffee shops and restaurants and catch up with people away from the hotel which made no sense. It also kept saying too many networks were using the WiFi and the traffic was too high even when I did manage to get onto it! There were good things though, the bus comes right outside and takes you to the marina, the breakfast was good in terms of a wide selection of items and the 3 receptionists that were there this week were so kind, smiley, chatty and polite!
Club viva hotel is a great place to stay! The location is great and the whole team is lovely! My family and i have stayed multiple times over the years. The rooms are very clean and spacious; the reception manager Nuri is always extremely helpful in ensuring our stay is positive, he is also very helpful with arranging rooms close together for our entire family as we usually travel within a larger group. The whole staff team are so welcoming, Serkan is amazing, always happy to help in anyway you need!
