Brilliant as always. Been coming for years. Nothing too much trouble. Rooms cleaned daily towels and sheets refreshed regularly. Staff excellent . Great place very central very family friendly. Highly recommend.
Rooms On arrival, we were allocated a room on the 4th floor. The room was dated and grubby, and unfortunately it had two single beds instead of a double. We asked to move rooms and were given a key card the following day, with staff telling us that if we wanted the new room, we could simply move our belongings across. The second room was again grubby, although it was a slight improvement on the first. It also had only one tiny wardrobe, which was completely inadequate for a family of four and meant we had to live out of our suitcases for the duration of our stay.
Breakfast The breakfast was one of the worst I've ever experienced. We only went twice during our two-week stay, which says a lot.
Pool Area The pool area was lovely and very clean. The staff worked hard throughout the day to clear glasses and keep everything tidy. We never had a problem getting a sunbed, even when going down around 11am. The food at the pool bar was to a high standard, although it was very expensive. There is no entertainment around the pool, which was fine for us, but if entertainment is important to you, this may be something to consider if choosing this hotel. There were also numerous arguments and fights around the pool during our stay, mainly involving children who appeared to be unsupervised. This wasn't just Turkish children, as some previous reviews have suggested. My daughter was sworn at and mocked on numerous occasions for no reason whatsoever. Obviously, this isn't the hotel's fault, but it does give you an idea of the clientele during our stay.
Overall Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. Although there were some positives, particularly the pool area and the hardworking staff, the condition of the rooms, poor breakfast and general atmosphere meant that we wouldn't return to this hotel.
Just returned from Club Viva would not recommend hotel was dirty maids came in every day but basically done nothing floor was cleaned once in two weeks the lift was filthy front entrance was dirty never seen marble flooring cleaned once the breakfast was good there was something there for everyone to eat the staff in there were lovely our first day went for Turkish bath it was good but the place was dirty. The pool area was kept clean and pool was maintained well but we had a few incidents with kids on the slide fighting also most important thing was no lifeguard you couldn’t relax Bar and food prices were through the roof 2 cans of Fanta and two ice creams £19 no entertainment nothing for kids one pool table also you couldn’t bring any drinks including water to the pool or they would tell you off prices rediculous
Location is good for bars and restaurants near by, the hotel itself is clean and the staff were very friendly, there was chat of ants in some of the bedrooms by some at the pool. With refusal to move them room as the hotel was as full. There was a notice of extermination on the lift the day that we left so assume that they are fixing the problem. The beds really are a problem especially if you suffer from any back problems or even if you don’t you could end up with them. They are rock solid and the bedding is really rough not great after a day in the sweltering heat. Our board was bed and breakfast but we unfortunately didn’t eat breakfast once. The options are really laughable, boiled eggs, Samosas, salami, spring rolls, onion rings. Chips is genuinely all that is on offer for breakfast I wish I could say I was joking but I’m not. So even though it’s bed and breakfast if that doesn’t tickle your fancy then be prepared to buy breakfast every morning. If you booked through on the beach they send an excursion rep to You on your first day .. the prices are higher than the avg in turkey if you book say through another rep or at an office, the prices they try to charge are truly scandalous so stay clear and just do Your own research. The drinks pricing at the pool are reasonable but stay away from things like redbull as it works out £6 for a small can. Other than that everything else you could work with, probably wouldn’t return as there are better hotels for the same money.
Realy nice hotel.and the breakfast is to die for realy good breakfast it's worth getting up for great staff super market across the road great position is this hotel.
