We’ve just returned from a fantastic holiday at Cooks Club Adakoy Marmaris, booked through Love Holidays, and honestly, it got better and better as the week went on!
This is a smaller Neilson collaboration, so not everyone staying at the resort is a Neilson guest, but for us this actually made it even better. We met some fantastic, like-minded people who were there for the same reason – to get involved in the activities during the day and then have a few drinks and a good time together in the evening. We made some great friends and that really added to the holiday.
The resort itself is beautiful – a gorgeous boutique-style 16+ hotel with stunning views, loads of sunbeds and the most amazing setting overlooking the harbour. There are lovely boats right opposite the hotel and the views while eating breakfast, lunch or dinner are just gorgeous.
The food deserves a special mention – it was next level! Everything is cooked to order and it genuinely did not disappoint. There was plenty of choice, the portions were generous and the quality was excellent. We really enjoyed every meal.
The hotel staff were absolutely amazing. A special shout-out to Emre and Kayra, who were outstanding. We moved rooms during our stay and they couldn't have been more helpful, showing us different options and doing everything they could to make sure we were happy. Nothing was too much trouble and by the end of the week we were all on first-name terms. They were always friendly, helpful and genuinely happy to see you.
The Neilson team were also brilliant. Our first interaction was with Lucy, who took the morning yoga and evening Pilates sessions. She was so lovely, friendly and chatty, both in and outside of the classes, and was a real credit to Neilson. Cody, Alex, Nicki and Emma were also fantastic and always around to help.
And of course, we have to mention Freyer, who kept us topped up with drinks from the bar all week! She was always so chatty and genuinely interested in hearing about your day was such a friendly face to see each day. 🍹😊
There are loads of activities available, and the atmosphere makes it really easy to get involved. If you want to be active during the day but then relax and have fun in the evening, this is a great combination.
They also have movie nights a few times a week with popcorn, which was a lovely touch if you fancy chilling after dinner rather than going out.
A couple of things to be aware of The rooms are definitely on the small side, and some of the balconies are very small too. We weren't in our room much, so it didn't bother us too much, but there aren't many shelves or cupboards for storage. We were three people with three suitcases, so space was definitely limited! We eventually paid to upgrade to a suite, which gave us much more room. If you're booking a standard room, just be aware that it really is a small standard room.
The resort is also quite isolated. There isn't really anywhere to walk to from the hotel, and there is a very steep hill to get out before you can go anywhere. The nearest shop is a long way away. This didn't bother us at all because we were happy at the resort, but if you like getting out for a long walk every day or wandering around local shops, it's worth knowing.
We hired e-bikes and cycled into Marmaris, which was brilliant, and there is also a water taxi. Taxis are reasonably priced and Marmaris is only around 20 minutes away by taxi.
Overall, we absolutely loved it. The combination of the beautiful setting, fantastic food, brilliant staff, activities, amazing views and the people we met made it such a memorable holiday.
If you're an active couple, friends or family looking for a holiday where you can get involved during the day, meet people and then enjoy a few drinks and good times in the evening, we'd definitely recommend it. Equally you can just flop on the sun longer all day - the activities are not in your face and Aqua was only once in the week.
Cooks Club Adakoy – you were fabulous! We'll be back! 🌞🍹⛵️
What a great hotel. Location off the beaten track and just gives you that feeling of a retreat style hotel.totally stress free. Mainland easily accessible with a taxi or 20 mins boat taxi ride. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, all were excellent, but a big shout out to Kayra who was so helpful (over and above when one of my daughters became unwell) and just happy all the time, Eddis who has great knowledge and nothing is an issue, Freya always helpful, Lucy from the fitness team and the general management team who have the motto nothing is too much trouble. Food was an excellent standard every mealtime and the hotel and that relaxing vibe you’d want from a holiday break. Spa treatments also really good and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a stay here
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in Marmaris
Our stay at Cook’s Club Adaköy exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking location surrounded by crystal-clear water and beautiful nature. It truly feels like a secluded paradise away from the crowds.
The food was exceptional throughout our stay. Instead of the typical buffet experience, everything was freshly prepared with excellent quality and plenty of variety. Every meal felt like dining at a great restaurant.
What really made the difference, however, was the staff. Every single member of the team was genuinely friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel welcome from beginning to end.
The rooms were spotless, the beach and pool areas were beautifully maintained, and the overall vibe of the hotel was incredibly relaxing. Whether you want to unwind by the sea, enjoy great food, or simply escape from everyday life, this place delivers.
Cook’s Club Adaköy is easily one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish, peaceful, adults-only getaway in Marmaris.
Wauw,
Amazing, first to mention is the reception, 'Kayra' (probably wrong) and her colleagues were more than amazing. I did not like my first room, it took about 30min to change it, I wish I did it sooner (I was shy and dared to say it after 3 days). So kind, so helpful.... I actually wrote 3 pages of pluses. I have about no comments, and I am very difficult. The atmosphere was so sereen. Beautiful, calm, clean, rooms are also wow. I went through a tough time during, The serenity is amazing. I never travel 2 times to the same place, but I would.
This club is beautiful. The team are warm, friendly and give excellent service. By the end of my stay the bar team knew my favourite drink and all the restaurant staff gave lovely service.
It’s a beautiful space, with a wonderful spa and gym.
