Just got back from Ada Julian hotel. Basically, you get what you pay for! It was a bargain and with my daughter working term time we had to go peak time! We found this and the adults only appealed to us as no kids in family (yet)!
Pros; staff are brilliant, go above and beyond.Chatty but not in your face. Highly recommend the Spa, I’ve had many Turkish baths/massage but this was by far the best I’ve ever had. Location is brilliant, in the middle of everything, supermarket directly opposite and plenty of food places and beach only 5 min walk. Pool area is clean, chilled, relaxed and never struggled to get a bed and they very comfy too.
Cons; unfortunately the food lets the hotel down. It’s dire even for an all inclusive. Only saviour was the snack bar 2.30pm-4pm- we waited and ate here every lunch. But ate breakfast and evening meals out out most night as there wasn’t much choice. Cleaner- lovely lady (floor 2) but very hit and miss, if she changed your bed she missed changing towels, it’s like she could only manage one job a day in your room!! Luckily the cleaning trolleys were on the floors so I often just helped myself to the towels, the cups in our room were never changed in 10 days we had to wash them out every day and not once was our fridge refilled with water. We bought our own from the supermarket.
If you want a quiet room request one facing pool but you won’t get a balcony, we had one on the street opposite Irish bar so very noisy, didn’t bother me as it was all wrapped up but 1230-1am and I enjoy people watching! But I can get how others may struggle with the noise.
All in all, had a great holiday but it’s what you make it!
My stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The view of the pool from my room was beautiful and added to the overall experience. The food was delicious, and I especially appreciated the availability of juice, water, and hot drinks throughout the day, which made everything much more convenient. Overall, everything went very well, and I had a wonderful stay.
We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and we had an amazing time! Was slightly nervous due to the bad reviews I’d seen before arriving, granted the food wasn’t great and we did eat out most evenings but everything else was lovely. If you are a foodie and rely on having a meal at the hotel every evening and booking all inclusive my recommendation would be to book elsewhere, bed and breakfast or take enough money to accommodate eating out.
The snack bar at 2:30 - 4:30 is really nice and cooked fresh. There wasn’t a huge selection but we always found something on the menu they had salads, crispy chicken and chips, omelettes and toasties. The ice cream everyday was also delicious.
The pool area was clean and there were plenty of sunbeds everyday, the beer which is tuborg was nice and the cocktails weren’t too bad. Cleaners popped in everyday to give the room a tidy, the only issue with the cleaning sometimes was that they would take towels and not replace them. However, when seeing the cleaner in the corridor she always asked if we needed anything and was happy to give it to us. Overall the staff were accommodating and friendly. Our room was facing the Irish bar across the road, which was nice to sit on the balcony and people watch but could sometimes be noisy on a nighttime depending how loud the music was.
The location of the hotel is brilliant, a short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants and bars also within walking distance. There is also a supermarket directly across the road from the hotel.
The food does let the hotel down slightly on rating but we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the location and pool was the best part of our stay.
4th year in a row we came when it was quieter this year so was lovely, I’ve never got anything bad to say about our experience, the staff are lovely and one in particular was named Emrah he was so helpful and sweet and as we took our girls who are 20 he made sure they were ok if me and my husband went out for some time on our own, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was lovely if you see this Emrah thank you! I think people expect to much from the hotel where the staff work so hard and at times dont even go home but as for me and my family we love it, ok the food isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but you’re abroad it’s not going to have the same as what you would get at home but it’s good enough, the location is perfect everything is easily accessible and we will return.
Prime position but definitely not a 4 star hotel. This could be so much better if they got a decent chef who catered to the British tastes as well as the Turkish. The food was the worst I have ever had in an hotel. On a positive note the staff are lovely and will go above and beyond to help the guests. We were given a very noisy room the first night but were moved immediately after breakfast the next day. We were also given a basket of fruit and a bottle of wine as an apology. A good deep clean (especially the windows) and a more inclusive choice of food would make this hotel so much better.
