Sahra Su Holiday Village and Spa

Our 4th visit here! Onur the manager is absolutely amazing, we love visiting him, one of the main reasons we feel confident to rebook each year. He’s very helpful and always on hand if you need anything. We love staying here, we book a swim up bungalow and we like that you have your own pool area that you share with 3 or 4 other bungalows. You can still also use the main pool if you wanted. The food has been lovely, always found more than enough we liked, even with a fussy 12 year old. The snack bar is also great with a variety of food such as pizza, burgers, spaghetti bolognaise and chicken nuggets. The pancakes this year were even better as normally in previous years you had to wait a while but the pancake lady had them all ready! The ice creams in the afternoon that are included are really good too! Plenty of drinks options. The desserts are brilliant so many options. We don’t use the entertainment much as we tend to go out into the local towns in an evening as we visit friends but from what we saw it was good. They do darts and aqua gym at the main pool area during the day. The taxi is about 5 minutes trip to hisaronu and is 350tl. The bungalows are perfect for the quiet area away from the busy parts of an all inclusive holiday while still enjoying the all inclusive aspect of food and drinks. Muhammad in the restaurant is great, always help and remembers your order! He works really hard and always has a smile on his face. Frankie is your man if you want any trips booking or any information of the surrounding area! All the staff have been friendly and helpful. Had the room cleaned each day with bins emptied. The spa was amazing! One of the best turkish baths my family have had and my daughter enjoyed the children’s package. My partner also booked the end of holiday package with honey and said it was brilliant. Cables cars in a taxi was around 400tl which is easy to then go straight into. We had seen people commenting about music in a near by bar but we didn’t notice anything! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back for the 5th visit next year. We stayed here with our 3 kids in August 2026.

Pros: The room was fine, we had a bunk bed, a single and a double. Was cleaned daily and fridge restocked.

The buffet was pretty good as was the snack bar. We never struggled to find something to eat

There is nothing within walking distance but taxis come quickly and are inexpensive.

Bar staff are all very friendly and hard working.

Con: Since having kids I've stayed in a load of these types of hotels, the animation team usually have a verity of activities running all day. Here there is aqua aerobics in the morning and a pool game in the afternoon. I only spoke to the activity guy once and it was to try and flog me a beach trip.

There is also a mini club, but again no effort to get kids involved in activities. In fact from what I could tell the sole purpose of the lady that ran the mini club was to sell sand paintings for 450 lira.

We have just returned from a fortnight at Sahra Su and what a great time we had! We had booked a standard room through Easyjet but contacted the GM Onur a few months before having read reviews about the room being small for 4 people and I was worried there would be nowhere to store anything. We upgraded to a family bungalow which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lounge area with wardrobes giving us loads of space so well worth the additional cost in our opinion. The only downside was that it was upstairs and the ceiling was very low (my boyfriend is tall and hit his head a few times). We had access to the private pool downstairs although didn’t really use it. The downstairs rooms are called family suites and have direct access to the private pools which would be my preference next time. That said, we prefer to be around the main pool for the atmosphere so it worked out fine for us.

In our opinion, you really couldn’t fault this hotel – yes, it is a little tired in places but we could always get sunloungers, the food was plentiful and varied. I think the people who complain honestly expect Michelin star for 3 star prices. The snack bar was great at lunchtime as were the crepes and waffles and ice cream lollies in the afternoon.

What really made the hotel stand out for us were the staff – the restaurant and bar staff were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you and the entertainment team, Carlos and Oscar were just fantastic – there were darts twice daily along with the normal aqua gym, pool games etc and then in the evening mini disco and some form of entertainment, apart from Sundays. Given the hotel rating, this was some of the best entertainment we have seen. Carlos and Oscar were super friendly and inclusive without being too pushy to try and get you to take part.

We booked the water park and the small boat through Frank at the hotel and we thoroughly recommend both trips – if we had more time we would have been tempted to go again! He again was super helpful and informative without being pushy.

We also went to Paradise beach twice using the hotel transport – lovely beach on the blue lagoon with paddle boarding, kayaks and pedalos and a lovely beach bar with live music a couple of times a week.

We would 100% come back here and will definitely be back in the future. The only negative for us was that you need to get a taxi to town (5 minutes and 350 Lira so not difficult, we just ideally like to be able to walk to a town or marina).

In summary we would highly recommend this hotel as representing extremely good value at this price point
