Monta Verde Hotel

Another wonderful holiday at this hotel. On arrival it’s like coming home and meeting old friends. This is a family owned hotel (Umran (mama), Barkan and his wife and son and Bora) At anyone time 2 or more of them are always on site and interact with their guests to make sure everything is ok. The staff from Reception (Ilene and team), to the bar (Murat, Ugur, Attila), the waiters and waitresses (Ipec, Guulbad, Fatmannurr, Seamus [Il Ponte] ) and the cleaners are outstanding and so friendly. The rooms are a good size, with tea / coffee making facilities, mini fridge and safe and the bed super comfortable. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The pool is checked and maintained daily with no loose tiles and very clean. Breakfast is buffet style with a variety of salads, cereals, juices and cooked breakfast items. At an extra cost you can order and eat lunch and dinner at dining tables around the pool and we can vouch for the quality of the food. There is an Italian Restaurant upstairs (Il Ponte) which serves delicious home cooked pizzas and pastas managed by very smiley and friendly Seamus. Downstairs you can book a Turkish Bath in their Hamman and add a variety of different massages from experienced staff. There is also a gym on site. There is not one negative thing I can add to my review. We love it here and will book to return again next year (as do so many other returning guests). We know we are guaranteed to have a fabulous time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Stay at Monte Verde – Ovacık

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic stay at Monte Verde in Ovacık, and I honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

From the moment we arrived, the service, attention to detail and genuine friendliness from everyone made our holiday so special.

A very special thank you to Aylin, the receptionist, who was absolutely amazing. She genuinely could not do enough for us and was always so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made us feel so well looked after throughout our stay.

I also have to mention Ugur and Murat, the two barmen. What fantastic guys! They were such good fun, so friendly and always made us feel welcome. They really added to the atmosphere and made sitting at the bar something to look forward to every day.

A huge thank you also to Barkin and Bora, the brothers who own the hotel. They were both incredibly friendly and welcoming. They always remembered our names, spoke to us every day and genuinely took an interest in making sure we were enjoying ourselves. That personal touch made such a difference.

We were also absolutely delighted with our upgrade to the penthouse suite. The room was fantastic, and the whole experience from the accommodation to the food and the service was exceptional.

What really stood out to us was the attention to detail and the personal treatment throughout our stay. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and it really did make our holiday exceptional.

We enjoyed every minute of our time at Monte Verde and would 100% return. We would definitely love to travel back to Ovacık and stay with Barkin, Bora and the whole team again. Karl and Tom miss 5 o’clock tea and cake , Mina and I miss the delicious wine 🍷chilled. Il Ponte restaurant was amazing well worth a visit. Thank you to everyone at Monte Verde for making our holiday so memorable. ❤️

Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely go back. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and plenty to choose from. There was a family pool and a quiet pool. The 5pm free cup of tea and cake was a nice touch. We went b&b, but there was an Italian restaurant attached to the hotel and the food was very nice. There was also a pool side menu and the food on the this menu was also very nice and filling, with plenty of options. Bus stops are right outside the hotel to take you to either Fethiye or Oludeniz, although we preferred to take a nice 20 minute walk down to Oludeniz and get the bus back.
