It is stretched along 2 km of Aegean coastline with 3 private beaches, surrounded by lush, verdant vegetation. There are 3,700 metres of walking trails. Fethiye can be reached within a short drive, while the international airport of Dalaman is about 57 km away. They are beautifully appointed with all the necessary amenities. Guests wishing to be active can choose between a wide range of sports facilities including a fitness centre and water sports. A fantastic pool area, water slides, children's pools and entertainment and numerous excellent restaurants and bars make the offer complete. Simply the ideal place for couples and families with children.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. After dipping into one of the 3 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and gift shops/newsstands. Getting to nearby attractions is a breeze with the complimentary local area shuttle.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Beautiful hotel, great food - especially at the Dolphin a la carte restaurant! The food was incredible, the fish and scallops were 10/10 and the service was fantastic - special shout out to Tacettin, Bulent, Aziz and Cihan
We spent a week at Club & Hotel Letoonia in July and had a wonderful holiday. This is one of those resorts where you can spend an entire week exploring and still feel that you haven’t seen everything. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the sea is unbelievably blue, there are flowers and greenery everywhere, and yachts constantly passing by add to the scenery. There are beautiful views and little corners to discover all over the peninsula.
We travelled as a couple in our 40s and were very impressed from the moment we arrived. The resort is enormous, with several beaches, pools, restaurants, bars and walking paths spread throughout the peninsula. There is always somewhere to go and something new to discover.
The food at the main restaurant was very good. Our favourite was the seafood night, which had a particularly good selection. We didn’t try the à la carte restaurants, so I can’t comment on those. I would have loved to see a sushi night and a few more themed nights during our stay. Breakfast was also good, although I think avocado and bacon would be welcome additions.
The drinks were another strong point. The cocktails were generally great, although during peak hours some bartenders seemed to have trouble getting them quite right when things became very busy. The coffee liqueurs were particularly good! One small issue was Sunrise Bar during the daytime. It quite often ran out of certain drinks, and there was no tequila there when we wanted it. This wasn’t a problem across the whole resort, but it would be nice if the daytime bars were kept better stocked.
Sunrise Beach was lovely and we really enjoyed spending time there. The pools were clean and pleasant, although we found them quite small for a resort of this size and they could get crowded. They became much more enjoyable later in the afternoon when some of the crowds disappeared. Sunbeds were sometimes difficult to find, but never impossible.
The resort itself is a pleasure to explore. The sea, greenery, flowers, walking paths, beautiful views and the constant sight of yachts travelling around the peninsula make it a very special place. There is no shortage of beautiful scenery, and I can imagine that the walks around the resort would be particularly enjoyable in cooler weather.
There is, however, one thing that I really hope the hotel addresses, especially for the hottest months.
It is incredibly hot.
And I don’t mean simply that July in Turkey is hot. The outdoor areas of the resort, including the bars and restaurants, desperately need better cooling. Misting fans that spray tiny droplets of water would make a huge difference, particularly around the bars and at Moonlight Restaurant. Even at night it could be extremely uncomfortable. There is something particularly unpleasant about getting dressed up for dinner and then having sweat running down your back because there is simply not enough air movement or cooling.
Lykia Restaurant was also intolerably hot for us every evening and really needs stronger air conditioning.
The size of the resort makes the heat even more noticeable. Everything is spread out, including the room blocks, beaches, pools, bars and restaurants. In cooler weather, I imagine these distances would actually be one of the lovely things about Letoonia. Walking through all that beautiful scenery from one part of the resort to another could be a pleasure. In the July heat, however, getting around became quite hard work.
This is also something I would strongly point out to anyone with mobility issues.
You need healthy legs to fully enjoy this resort.
There are facilities for disabled guests, but even if you aren’t disabled and simply have aching knees, hips, a bad back or difficulty walking long distances, you may find getting around the resort quite challenging. Reaching the beaches, restaurants and other facilities involves a lot of walking, and you really do need several pairs of comfortable shoes. For us, the distances combined with the July heat sometimes took away from the relaxing aspect of the holiday.
Our room was in Block S and we were very happy with it. I really liked the architecture and size of the room blocks, and the view from our balcony was absolutely wonderful. A special shout-out to Ibrahim at reception, who gave us a great room. The room itself was comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom could, however, really use better ventilation and a fan. The inner pathways around some of the room blocks could also use some attention. The stone passages around our Block S were quite dirty and there was old furniture cluttering some areas. This felt particularly out of place in such a beautiful resort.
We also found ourselves wishing for a towel desk at Sunrise Beach. Having to walk all the way back to Agora just to deal with towels was inconvenient, especially given the distances already involved.
One of the things we did enjoy was the boat to Fethiye. It was such a convenient service and made visiting the city very easy. If you want to properly see Fethiye, though, I would recommend setting aside a whole day rather than just making a quick trip. There is plenty to see and do, and it deserves more than a few hours.
Overall, this is a truly beautiful resort with excellent food, very good drinks, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful service. There are certainly things that could be improved, particularly the cooling in outdoor areas, the ventilation in some spaces and the cleanliness of some of the pathways, but these are things that I hope the hotel will address because the underlying resort is absolutely wonderful.
I would definitely come back, but I would probably choose a slightly cooler time of year. I think this place would be even more enjoyable when you can properly appreciate all the beautiful outdoor spaces without constantly battling the heat.
A wonderful resort, and one I would happily recommend.
The hotel’s territory is vast, clean and beautiful, views are picturesque and calming. The service is unmatched, the staff is friendly and caring, I’m sending special thanks to our waiters Bülent, Cihan and Tacettin who made the dinner at the beach in the Fish restaurant comfortable, delicious, memorable and just çok güzel. Wonderful job and humor 👏🏻 bravo
Amazing views from this hotel, beautiful scenery and so peaceful too. Beds available pretty much everyday without the early morning get up. Watersports area is great fun. We enjoyed the arts and crafts with the ladies at the art studio, very skilled. Great service and hospitality from staff especially Bulent Amak throughout our stay at Letoonia. Excellent member of staff, always friendly and helpful wherever he is working. Bulent always has a smile on his face to welcome you. Layla on the entertainment team is very helpful and will always be happy to chat and help. Elmurod works hard in the bar down at the Cactus Pool and is happy to greet you. Sukru Karadereli waiter very friendly and hard working making sure food is served promptly and with a smile. Overall a beautiful place and location.
