This lovely hotel is situated in Dalyan. This property offers a total of 31 guests rooms. This establishment was fully refurbished in 2020. Our newly opened Turay Hotel is located on the river which joins Koycegiz Lake, famous for its health giving thermal waters, and the magnificent Iztuzu beach. You can easily get to Iztuzu beach and the mud bath by a motor boat, which you can take from our hotel's private jetty. Have a trip around Koycegiz lake or join one of the moonlight tours with dinner on board. You can also dine and enjoy a drink in our riverside restaurant.
There is a large choice of traditional Turkish food and freshly baked village bread. Turkish pizza and a wide selection of Mediterranean cuisine are available. You can also enjoy our full a la carte menu.
31 ensuite rooms are located in our beautifully landscaped gardens, offering wonderfull views ottoman style architecture of the hotel. Our large, central swimming pool is perfect for sunbathing and includes a children's pool.
Be sure to enjoy recreational amenities including a seasonal outdoor pool and bicycles to rent. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, a picnic area and a banquet hall.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Absolutely lovely time here. Staff were amazing. Especially Ozzie, what a guy. We defiantly will be back. The pool was great and the rooms are exactly what you need. Only a 10 minute walk from all the restaurants and bars aswel. Only thing I would be picky on is the toaster 🤣.
Breakfast in the Turay is a perfect metaphor for the hotel. Bland & very much a case of take it or leave it. For a significant charge you can get a full english. Fresh orange available at 200 tl charge per glass - £3+ for a fruit that is readily available!
Everywhere is clean , tidy & staff are courteous.
Poolside not big enough for all guests at times. A handily placed 'paddock' is your overflow option. It is clear that it survives on people who are happy to return year on year. Ozzy the barman features quite a lot in reviews but he is the erstwhile barman that is everyone's friend for a week. No doubt tips play a large part in his demeanour. Little hint. If you do book, try and get a room away from the bar as with music pumping until 2 it can impact sleeping. Foodprices & bar prices, suspiciously missing from the entrance board & anywhere in the bar.
Unusually for Turkey the hotel owner drifts in & out issuing orders & scowling, not interacting with guests. Don't get me wrong. If you are content to tackle a breakfast that wouldn't inspire a starving man & rest comatose by the bar until two then this could be your home away from home.
A special mention though must go to the tireless cleaners who are cheerful & so hardworking.
Little hint. Brighten up your holiday, bring some dreamies & feed the friendly hotel cats.
Absolutely amazing hotel, family run. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is so friendly, especially Ozzie the barman. All the staff are fantastic. Eating breakfast by the river, lots of fish swimming by and 2 turtles and a large terrapin. Amazing views. Definitely go again.
We stayed here for 10 nights in June. We absolutely loved it. Staff were very friendly and worked hard especially the lovely ladies that cleaned our room. The owner of the hotel came out to great us which was a nice touch. The grounds are well maintained. Our only criticism which I think is important is to makes sure that the food in the breakfast area is covered at all times. As its a hot country there are lots of flies which we understand however, it wouldn't cost much to cover the food with mesh covered especially the fruit. This is basic health and safety. Saying that we will definitely be back and have recommended the hotel. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.
Another lovely stay at the Turay hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful was so nice to see all the same faces and a few new ones. As before Ozzie was a stand out member of staff, such a hard worker and nothing is ever too much trouble for him he’s a real asset to the hotel. Pool and bar area are kept immaculately clean as are the rooms. We never had any problems getting sunbeds and love that there are various places to sit around the hotel, the restaurant by the river has stunning views & with the regular turtles and terrapins. “Yogi” spent time showing the little lad in our party how to fish it was a special moment one he will remember. Food is good, “Betty” in the kitchen at breakfast is a lovely lady and always smiling and chatting as best we could with neither speaking the others language. She will make you a beautiful omelette for breakfast at your request. Cannot fault the hotel at all and we hope to return again next year (or later this year if we are lucky) Thanks again to all for a wonderful holiday.
