This hotel is located by the Dalyan River, in quiet, peaceful surroundings, set in a large gardens. The nearest restaurants and bars are within 200 m and it is just a 5-minute walk to the centre and its amenities. The nearest nightspots and Dalyan bus station are 800 m away. It is 1 km to the Tomb Graves and Dalyan Mud Baths, and 1.5 km to the ancient city of Kaunos. Iztuzu Beach and the Mediterranean are 4 km away and Candir Forest is 3 km from the hotel. It is 65 km to Marmaris and 90 km to Mugla and Dalaman Airport is 25 km away.
Built in 2004 and renovated in 2009, this hotel is Dutch-owned, and this is reflected in the European/Turkish design. Set in beautiful gardens, it has a relaxing atmosphere and is suitable or families. It comprises a total of 37 rooms including 8 junior suites, spread over a main building and an annexe, each with 2 floors. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom and a TV lounge as well as a large screen TV on the terrace. The younger guests can enjoy the children's playground and refreshment is to be had at the café, bar and large indoor and outdoor restaurant. Guests have WLAN Internet access at their disposal and they can also take advantage of the room and laundry services (for an additional fee). Parking is available for those arriving by car.
Simply furnished in a traditional style, the rooms offer up to 3 beds and come with a spacious bathroom with a shower. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access and individually regulated air conditioning as well as a terrace.
Enjoy recreational amenities such as a seasonal outdoor pool and bicycles to rent. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, an arcade/games room and a fireplace in the reception.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have had another beautiful stay in Dalyan at the Portakal Hotel lovely owners and lovely staff cudnt fault it. It’s comfortable, friendly and very very clean. We had a lovely welcome as have been here before. If you are looking to come to Dalyan we would 100% recommend the Portakal to stay at Pam and Michael
This was our 6th stay at the amazing Portakal Hotel and as always, we came home already wishing we could go back!
It really is our home away from home in Turkey and there’s a reason we keep returning year after year. From the moment we arrive, we’re always made to feel so welcome. The whole place has such a lovely, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and nothing ever feels like too much trouble.
The staff are absolutely wonderful and genuinely make the hotel what it is. Everyone is so kind, friendly and welcoming, and it’s always so lovely seeing familiar faces each time we return. You’re never made to feel like just another guest.
The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful and the perfect place to completely switch off and enjoy Dalyan. Every time we stay, we leave with even more lovely memories and somehow love the place even more than we did before.
We honestly can’t praise Portakal and the team enough. Six stays down and hopefully many, many more to come. We already can’t wait to be back at our favourite place ❤️
Third time lve stayed in this hotel, stayed with a friend first last year and loved every minute so came back with my hubby. The hotel is so clean, the cleaners do a fantastic job along with being friendly. All the staff are soooo friendly and helpful. The pool area is lovely no fighting for sunbeds. The garden is ideal if you need more shade and quiet. Going back with friends next May, can’t wait. You also meet lovely new friends.
Exceptional hotel situated in an idyllic loction on the Dayan Çayı Rıver. The hotel is beautifully presented. This was are second stay at the hotel and we booked the 3rd before we left, which I think says everything to anyone reading this review how much me and partner enjoy staying here and would encourage anyone else to do likewise. No doubt it will not be the same next year as the owners Hidri and Mephat continually find improvements to make what is a gem of a hotel even better 🤩. Any hotel is only as good as its staff who are all absolutely amazing from reception, house keeping to the gardeners and the bar staff . I wish I could remember all their names, like they seem to remember everyone’s .Eyüp on reception Ramz & Mo make you feel at home every day as do all staff ❤️ Especially Kashmir who puts a smile on everybody’s face whenever shes around 🐕❤️ so don’t wait to long to book Dayans best hotel 🍺😎🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
We came here last year and couldn’t wait to come this year. We felt like we had come home as we always do when we come to Dalyan 🇹🇷 Rooms are cleaned every day (be mindful you don’t overdo the cleaning of bedding/towels) shoutout to Ramz and Mo on the bar thank you for your service (the other 2 guys I’m sorry I’m not good with names)🫶 the service was amazing. mephat and Hidri we love you 🫶
