Jiva Beach Resort

What a great hotel. food amazing the chefs and staff need a big pat on the back. Delicious dishes every sitting and chefs out on the floor inspecting all the food. Cannot fault this hotel. Beach bar amazing with great live music. We were in a room above the 24hr bar..brill the lift opened into the lounge lol no noise or disturbance had. Little tip do ask for your tipple by name I.e Smirnoff, Gordon's gin etc as you will get the turkey equivalent which is so inferior. Also take beach shoes if going onto the water as pebbley. I would advise to get private taxi from airport as we have visited twice and coach takes too long to get to hotel. Will defo be back next year as this is our yearly secret little getaway. Not so secret now lol. All I can finish off with is take £1 coins for tips. These guys deserve it a few quid for their services is soo deserved as they work really hard..enjoy relax and enjoy the cuisine

I am coeliac (gluten free) and when I arrived I was told to speak with the guest relations team who showed me the gluten free menu, then everyday I would message or speak to the guest relations team to order a gluten free meal, which one of the head chefs would make specifically for me. All the food on the buffet is labelled clearly with allergens, my only improvement would be if there was an allergen section in the buffet which could include things like cereals, snacks, muffins, etc.

The resort is so perfect and has so many little things that make your trip here amazing, from the coffee van, the amazing cocktails and super friendly staff it is all perfect!

This was my first time visiting the resort although my partner had been before, and she noticed how things had got even better over the last few years. It seems as if Jiva Beach Resort is always looking to improve, and I will be sure to visit again!

We spent 13 nights at Jiva as a family of 4. When we arrived we were allocated an attic family room in the main building. I was a bit dubious at first but the room was actually pretty ideal. We had one room with 2 single beds and one room with a double. Each room had its own separate balcony with a fab view because we were so high up.

The food was outstanding, from the buffet, to the beach bar and the alacartes. The pool snack bar we only used once was also decent. We just preferred the others. We spent the majority of our time around the smaller pool purely because the sunbeds were very comfy and it was only a short walk to the main pool for the pool party and activities. We were always able to get beds, even going down around 8.30 - 9am. The guys and girls who worked in the bar here were great. They really work their socks off. Tayfun who does the waiter service around here was constantly on the go. Delivering drinks to the nearby swim up room and also the sunbeds after a QR code was added here to order. We'd then see him at dinnertime in the alacartes then in the lukka lounge serving drinks till late in the night. He never seemed to stop and was always friendly.

We spent a good amount of time at the beach bar as the kids loved the chicken tenders down there. We were mainly served by Dougie and Murhat (completely wrong spelling). They were always welcoming and very attentive. The staff as a whole are a credit to the resort. Must also mention tayfun in the main buffet. He was a funny funny guy and always made sure we were looked after.

The alacartes were fab. We did bubon twice, the rooftop twice and the Mediterranean once. Bahri who manages the rooftop and the Mediterranean was also very welcoming. He had our table in the rooftop all decorated with flowers. The food in all was fab. I'm between bubon and rooftop as what was my favourite.

We booked the pavilion for a day and it was a great relaxing experience. The waiter here was also very hard working and was always checking on us. If I had one thing that I think may improve the experience it's the food times. We've used pavilions in 4 different hotels in turkey now. This is the only one that food isn't available until 2pm. I think for €140 a snack menu should be available before this time. When the food did come, it was from the beach bar so it was very good. The waiter also managed to get pizzas for the kids which went down very well.

We didnt go to the entertainment most nights as we prefer to find somewhere comfy to sit and you can hear the shows and music around the resort. What we did see and hear was very good though.

All in all we had a great holiday. Our last visit to calis was to liberty fabay and in my opinion the jiva is every bit as good if not better. Jiva was head and shoulders above fabay in terms of value for money and we'd love to come back again next year. The staff are what makes the place stand out. Each and every one of them were so hard working and went out of their way to make our stay amazing. Till next time Jiva😀
