We have really enjoyed our stay at the Bahar hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the room itself is clean and has all you need. The hotel is very central and a great base to explore the area. Breakfast is different every day and they make omelettes if requested and asked my husband every day if he wanted one after he first ordered. The bread is lovely and fresh.

Really lovely hotel in a great location

We were fortunate to stay at this gorgeous boutique family run hotel and were blown away by the wonderful hospitality, comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. The hotel is immaculate and the service was super friendly and welcoming. The highlight for us was the huge pool to laze about and swim in after a busy day of activities. There was also a night market right next door with lots of beautiful handmade goods and a shopping mecca just a short walk away with high quality souvenirs, bags, clothing etc. And best of all was the location! The hotel is situated right on the famous Çaliş beach surrounded by amazing restaurants, great shopping and a hop skip and jump from the amazing activities Fethiye and surrounds has to offer. And I also cannot forget to mention the most breathtakingly beautiful sunset İ’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to return for my next summer holiday!   Thanks Bahar hotel team for a wonderful stay

Perfect Pool, Accommodation and Location

This hotel is amazing. We stayed for 1 week wish it could have been longer. The location is fantastic. The hotel itself is nothing short of 100%. The staff are so helpful. nothing is too much trouble and they answer any enquiry straight away. Our room was fabulous, spacious, clean, aircon, was a great asset. Towels and bedding changed as needed and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Pool very clean inspected every day and relaxing. Staff in the morning at  breakfast were always smiling and the omelettes were cooked lovely. Great choice of food available the whole sitting. Highly recommend this hotel and will be going back next year. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday, see you soon!

Great hotel

I booked this hotel only a few days before coming at the end of September with a friend, who needed to return to Fethiye to have some follow up dental work, and I was recouperating from a recent operation.

I have never stayed at Calis beach before, and usually holiday in Lara beach in 5* luxury all inclusive hotels.
To be honest I was not expecting much , and was rather apprehensive, as not what I'm used too, but I can honestly say I was very plesantly surprised and extremely happy with my choice of hotel. I will give my honest opinion of the Bahar hotel:-

Firstly the hospitality at the hotel was excellent. The staff at the Bahar were really welcoming and friendly and always had a smile on their face, and clearly wanted to make sure your stay was enjoyable.
It almost felt home from home, and I felt immediately at ease in the hotel, and would have no hesitation in returning either with a friend or on my own. The owner was lovely and had two dogs which was lovely to see her with them.

The location of the Bahar is fantastic, in fact we both said that I couldn't have chosen a better hotel in terms of area, as it is central to the long promenade, where there are so many restaurants, cafes, shops. It is very near the bridge over canal where the water taxi is. It is near the main strip where there are more restaurants, shops, bars and also directly outside is the Domus/bus stop. In the evenings there is a small craft market directly outside the back gate. The beach is literally two minutes walk out of the hotel, through a restaurant , onto the promenade. There are amazing sunsets in this area, and I loved sitting either on the beach or on my balcony watching them.

I had a room on the top floor (312) overlooking sea and pool, and my friend had a room same floor further along (307) . The rooms are of a good size, very clean and modern in decor. My friend had a double bed, and I had twin beds, however the staff kindly made it into a double for me. The balcony had two chairs on but was small. This didn't worry me being just one person in a room. If you need a larger balcony, I would suggest the ground floor rooms which looked slightly bigger. Amazing views from both rooms. There is no lift, no problems forus though, the exercise was good.

The beds were lovely and comfortable, lovely clean white linen and the room had air conditioning that worked really well. There was a chair, and flat screen TV, a kettle and mugs in the room, none of which I used. There was a fridge/freezer too, which came in handy. The room had free wi-fi, which could be quite sporadic at times. The room had a small wardrobe, which was enough space for my clothes, and there was one long drawer. It would have been nice to have had a little more storage such more drawers or bedside drawers. The safe was in the bottom of the wardrobe, which was free to use, however it would have been nicer if it was higher up as some people may struggle to reach down that low or see the numbers.

The bathroom was lovely and modern, and had a hairdryer which I could use in the bedroom, a large mirror, and lovely shower with powerful shower, which was great for my thick long hair. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were provided in small bottles, which was a nice and unexpected touch.

The hotel had a lovely pool, which although not heated was warm enough to swim in. I liked the fact it had steps you could walk into with a handrail too. There were enough sunbeds around the pool. The hotel grounds also had some swing/wicker/bucket/hammock seats to sit in which was lovely and a nice little area just behind the pool.

At the end of the pool was the breakfast area, outside but undercover. The breakfasts consisted of an array of varied things such as meats/cheese/bread, fresh fruit, cereal, cakes, salad, eggs, juice, tea, coffee, turkish tea etc. The staff would also cook omelettes and other types of eggs for you if you asked. Apparently they do lunch too but I didn't personally have it to comment. There is a very small bar area too next to a pool table, which has various fizzy/cold drinks in, lagers and red/white wine. You purchase it and pay as you go at reception. I only drink Rose wine so didn't use this service, except purchasing one pepsi.

In the hotel by reception there is a small area to sit with comfortable chairs, where they have a television, some games and books you can borrow. The wifi is great there.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday at the Bahar, which was down to the hospitality of the lovely staff, the service provided, the comfortable clean rooms and location of them, and the ability to keep my room on until leaving, which really added to my wonderful stay. Thank you to everyone at the hotel, and I most certainly will be returning and recommending your hotel to everyone I meet x
